We are a newly married couple building our home in Raja Ampat.
Our names are Jack (English diving instructor with business in london) and Adecya (Indonesian).
If you google Raja Ampat you'll see it described as the the last paradise on Earth which is arguably sadly true but like most places is facing many issues with unsustainable growth.
We are working with the local community to build our home as ecologically friendly as we can and use as main permaculture ideas as we can. We work with the local community to protect the reefs and surrounding area and we’d like to start more projects with the local community.
We can always use help with our home, garden, reef and getting these projects off the ground. As you can see from the drone pictures it’s a large piece of land which has a lot of potential.
We live completely off grid with our own generator and our own water system.
The underwater picture you can see is of our reef 20 meters from the shoreline. Together with the... more inside

Hello! We are looking for enthusiastic and nature-loving volunteers. This is a community-based cooperative that seeks to create locally-sourced, natural products and to host social projects that focus on health, wellness and art. We hope to facilitate cultural and skill sharing between foreigners and the local youth and women. This place is still in the process of being started up, and that is why we are looking for a team of volunteers to help us get things running!

We are in the process of renovating the space and the tasks you will help us complete will leave you with new knowledge in working with natural materials and with sustainable methods. We will be building a cob earthen oven, improving our garden with a polytube greenhouse complete with an aquaponics system, and planting various types of herbs and flowers that we will use in our products and projects. You will also be a part of our programs for the Youth and Women’s Co-Op, assisting in activities such as conversational... more inside

I'm looking for volunteers excited to help local people learning English in my local area. Some of the help will be at local schools, helping the students practice their English, and some help will be outside of the school, helping locals looking to improve their language skills.
it's about being a partner in speaking practice.

I can offer:
A stay at my home with my lovely little family and meal 3 times a day. There is a good room for you and it must be comfortable for you. You can learn some of the local languages. I speak English, Bahasa Indonesia and Sundanese.

I am situated in South Bali on a half hectare of private property that sits on a sloping block with sea views and lush tropical gardens. I have 3 separate guest rooms all very private, along with kitchen facilities. The property has a swimming pool & pizza oven that helpers are welcome to use.
It is set in a rural location and is about 15 minutes by scooter to shops, cafes, and beautiful beaches in Bali.
Ideally I am interested in Helpers that can commit to one month or longer. Preferably 2 - 6 months.
Your primary function is to take care of the animals. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and about 11 chickens.
You will share the timetable with other helpers/ house sitters and generally you will work for 4 days (mornings and afternoons) and 4 days off. This can change depending on the number of helpers that are staying.
I have staff that help in the garden however during the dry season you will be asked to water a section of the garden.
You must be able to cope in a tropical setting... more inside

I just started a really budget English course for everyone (the rich and especially the poor) at my home in Sungai Penuh, Jambi, Indonesia. It's about 8 hours from Padang, West Sumatera. My mission is to make the students feel free of worrying about the cost because my course's cost is very cheap. I also set some students totally free from paying the tuition since I know that they can't even afford that cheap price. My visions? I have a looooot of visions ahead for this English Home and when you're here, I'll tell you everything of course if you don't mind listening to those visions:)

We want to focus on speaking class since we realize that in Indonesia, there are a lot of people who good at Grammar but can't speak English at all! That's why we want to build the students' confidence first instead of learning too much grammar without any bravery to speak up. We build a class of fun, natural and homey to make students not afraid of learning anymore. We really need your help, volunt... more inside
