Hi - we are on a gorgeous property with a river boundary and lots of room to roam and explore. We both work full time in animal welfare and have two small children aged 4 and 6. We have many animals on the property, both pets and livestock including dogs, horses, cattle and sheep.

We have a completely seperate room for a helper to use, and meals are shared in the house.

We are looking for someone for a few weeks to help with childcare and household tasks - plus a little farmwork if you are keen. In return we can guarantee you will be part of a fun, busy nz household and will have plenty of opportunity to explore the local area and time out to travel more widely.

We are happy to pick you up from the local bus station, or even from nearby cities if needed. We do have a car available for the right person to use during their stay.

You would need to be female, honest, friendly and great with kids, and have a drivers license

We are a family of 4 (almost 5). Kyle works full time and Tara is at home with our children, 2boys, 5 years old, and 20 months with a 3rd on the way! We live on a small lifestyle block about 20 mins from Raglan, 10kms to Bridal veil falls, and 25 mins to Ruapuke beach. (check out raglan.net.nz)

We are looking for someone to help with general day to day property maintenance, gardening, and some childcare, in exhange for accomodation and shared meals. 3-4 day stay max.

Accomodation is a small sleepout with double bed, toilet, shower, sky tv, and a beautiful view from the deck of Mount Karioi. There is no public transport where we live so own transport is preferred.

We are a couple who live in a rural/village location - Te Pahu. We have some chickens, bees,a sheep, goat and cat.

Work will generally involve gardening work of some sort, including tree trimming and possibly some chain-sawing, may be some painting for an artistic person and there's always other bits and pieces arising. There is access to broadband internet for email.

Accommodation is in our house (see bedroom photo) with own bathroom and toilet facilities, though shared if we have family staying with us. If we go anywhere or are invited to something you will be very welcome to join in, however, we do not specifically take helpers sightseeing. The photos are from around the property. Raglan is 35 mins by car and Hamilton 25 mins. There are a number of tramping tracks nearby.

Prefer non-smoking couples or 2 friends (need to be close as only 1 double bed) who are conscientious and trustworthy with initiative; people who can entertain themselves when not working. Becaus... more inside

We have a large formal garden bording the Waikato River which is open to visitors during the months of October to April. We are located in the rural hamlet of Tamahere which is about 12 kms from Hamilton and 13 kms from Cambridge. We are happy to meet you in either Hamilton or Cambridge. For your enjoyment, we have bicycles, comfortable accomodation and free WiFi. We speak Englsh and have limited French.

We would welcome people that enjoy gardening including weeding, dead-heading, hedge trimming, pruning, digging, raking leaves, lawn mowing, etc. There may also be the opportunity to assist with some garden visits such as serving high tea. I am a busy GP with a modern home in a rural setting, 15km from Hamilton. The picture shows the view from the patio. There are amazing country vistas all around. It is a very peaceful and quiet property. I have a large one acre garden with fruit trees, vegetable patch, native trees and I keep chickens.
The garden needs some TLC and time spent on it, which I don't have. I would like someone to help me with it, weeding, pruning , etc. also maybe some spring cleaning.
There is one double room available in the house with own bathroom, for a single person or a couple,in exchange for help. I would like at least 5 hrs work per day.
nonsmoker prefered
own transport would be useful but not essential, there is no public transport but I go into the city to work so we could organise something to get you into the city.
There are great walks around, and Hamilton is 1 to 2 hrs drive to the beaches, the mountains and the lakes.
Meals would be prepared and shared together, but you would ne... more inside

We were an Appaloosa horse breeding stud that we are downsizing, quite a few Cattle, and sheep. We are set up for Farmstays, with fantastic 360 degree views, towards Mt Pirongia. 8 klms from the Dinsdale shopping centre past the Morman Temple. And 12km from the centre of Hamilton. We do not have any riding horses, but need willing helpers to work handling horses, like holding them while I do their feet, WE have one stallion. Accommodation is in our house, with us. We have 1 young working dog. and two cats. We are members of WWOOF and also sometimes have paying Farmstay visitors. Reasonable english is required, as working with horses can be dangerous if english not understood. We prefer to have single girls as they fit in with the paying Farmstays, we always look after our helpers very well and as we are close to the City can drop you off from shopping sprees. If we go out dancing a lot you normally would come with us as we don't leave you at home alone. We are not vegetarian. S... more inside
