I run a vintage Tearooms from May to October in the small town of Newport, Co. Mayo. We are on the Great Western Greenway and our customers are mostly cyclists and walkers. All our produce are locally sourced and our baking is all homemade. All dishes are served on bone china. We grow most of our herbs and some salad vegetables. We are looking for one or two people with customer service, catering and waitressing experience preferably. We have a restored cottage to accommodate two people, for one month stay. Visit us on Facebook link above.
Good conversational English essential.
We offer helpxers private accommodation in a charming restored cottage at the rear of our premises with 2 bedrooms, kitchen/living room and shower room with toilet.

We will provide food/groceries for helpxer who can cook their own meals in their own kitchen.

Hello Helpxers,
Help with computers in Dingle

I am living in one of the most places in Ireland. That place is Dingle in County Kerry on the wild Atlantic way.
The house is in the heart of Dingle town. Literally a stones throw from good Irish music pubs, restaurants and of course minutes from the sea. I need some help with a website for example uploading content and photos. If you have good social media skills that would be a bonus as my new business needs some digital marketing too. You will have plenty of time to yourself and I hope you can work on your own initiative. You will have your own private room. I provide all meals and an extra few beers. I need someone for 3 or 4 days.
Thnks for your interest
Paula

You would have your own small room and eat with us, we actually cook together. As you have seen on my site I run a small language teaching foreign students (age 18 - 60. There will be 2 teachers giving lessons in the mornings but it's great if you can chat to them and make sure they speak English all the time, especially evenings. This can be tiresome for some people as you need to speak slowly and understand there English is limited. You would work, probably alone, in the vegetable garden, weeding and watering (9.30. - 12.45) and 2 afternoons we will work with you (2.30-4.30). It is about 20 hours per week. We go to Bantry once a week shopping and on an excursion on Wednesday's, you would of course be included. Friday afternoon and weekends are free, there are bikes to borrow and I have rubber boots, old coats and clothes if you need them. We try to make it to an Irish music session Friday evening. Think that is about all. Students arrive on Sunday and leave on Saturday, which is ... more inside

We are back to host helpers after 4 years.
We are a couple with two small children, we live in the country side, in a beautiful and quite place in the southwest of Co Galway, there is a few neighbours nearby. Deer, badger, foxes and heron are easy to see, depending on season.

We speak English and Spanish at home. We are non judgmental people and would like to host helpers that are non judgmental with our lifestyle as well. We like harmony and to live in peace, we encourage our kids to gain respect but being respectful and try to walk our talk. Having said that, we do follow a non drugs non heavy amounts of alcohol policy in the house.
We go fishing quite often and love walks on the beach, you are most welcome to join us, although if you feel more comfortable doing your own stuff we are also happy with that. There is a river with a good supply of brown trout within a walking distance from the hou... more inside

At present we are looking for someone to do general house work. In particular we need someone who can cook, knows their way around keeping a house together (clean and tidy!) and sometimes can help to mind a stubborn 4 year old and a crazy 3 year old. We have an absence of extended family in our vicinity as I am not originally from Galway!

We live in a lovely area of Galway, 15 mins by bus to the centre. We have a lovely park beside us called Cappagh Park, and Barna Woods is lovely for a walk. We are also between two coastal areas, Salthill; a very well known area of Galway, and Silver Strand in Barna, so there is access to nice beach walks or walking/jogging the Salthill Prom - this is a stretch of 3km and overlooks Galway Bay.
Galway is well known for it's multicultural aspects and there is always something to do or go to here, unfortunately not for parents of small babies though!! There are many festivals or mini festivals. A quick google search would give you some idea! We ar... more inside

We are not looking for helpers until may 2019.We own a 34 acre farm overlooking the sea at Rathlackan co mayo. I am an artist and Siobhan is a conservation architect and together with our daughter Muirenn (8) we live in a large 17th cent farmhouse which we are restoring. We keep a flock of rare breeds of sheep . We usually try to grow as much of our own food as possible and to reclaim the the long neglected farm land.We will also soon start to harvest wild flowers and blossom to make our award winning vinegars. With the autumn food festivals approaching we need help about the house and with the vinegar making.

As members of WWOOF Ireland we have been hosting woofers for three years. We continue to host woofers but could also do with someone to help indoors as well. Everyone dines with the family, and has their own room.
