I live in Moree, Northwest NSW and I have a small farm (with no animals) 20kms away. Prefer helpers stay 2+ weeks perhaps with the option of staying for the wheat harvest. Jobs include preparing machinery for harvest, cleaning sheds, painting, gardening. We work hard weekdays but have a good time on weekends. Previous helpers (from other sites) have joined my extended family for Christmas and we have remained friends. Helpers must be fluent in English, car licence, non smokers, no drugs. I live alone as my children are now adults. We enjoy meals together - I'm not a bad cook. It is possible to obtain your 2 year visa from this opportunity.

Main, organically grown crops under production are Daikon radish, Asian pumpkin, garlic, chokos, dragon fruit and bamboo. We are also establishing mixed orchards of tropical and subtropical fruit, citrus, nuts and stone fruits, as well as vegetable and herb gardens. We are looking for happy, trustworthy, positive people to help us with our exciting project set to begin immediately. We see the project lasting until the end of August. The project: We have cut a house in half and have relocated it from down the road up to our land 6km away. We are doing an extension in the middle of the two halves which is where we want the help please. We will provide all your food and board for 28 hrs work per week (4 hrs a day). We are pretty flexible and can be completed how you like (4 hrs here, 5 hours there etc etc). Once you have worked your hours you are free to do what you like in this amazing part of the world. Go to the beach, go surfing, go for walks in the bush or just chill. Depending on the job, there might be opportunities for those who want to work more than the 28 hours to then get paid a basic hourly rate. We live in a beautiful location near the beach on the Mid-North Coast. It is a stunning area to explore. Lots of amazing walks and surf brea... more inside

First, before you read further - we only take Non-smokers (meaning you do not smoke - not that you smoke outside). If I find that you do smoke you will be asked to leave - I (and my children when they are here) are all asthmatics.

Although I can do vegetarian (you will have to excuse us eating meat), I don't do vegan. If you don't mention to me that you are vegetarian before you arrive you will need to eat what is put in front of you

If you fulfill these criteria please read on.

Being a helper means doing any job (within reason) that your host asks of you so if there is something that you can't do - ie, bad back, then it would be good to tell me first so I can think of jobs that might suit you better.

I am in need of people who are happy to weed and do odd jobs inside and outside the house, including help with the computer. The work is not hard but I do like people who just get in and do it rather than people who take as much time as they can to do one small job. You ... more inside

AVAILABILITY FROM 4 AUGUST

We are an energetic family living in Sydney’s beautiful Northern beaches (Manly) with 2 children, 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 goldfish and 4 chickens.

We are looking for someone to help out around the house (inside and out) as well as with our loveable but energetic labrador dog and our lovely girls.

ABOUT US:
We love the outside lifestyle that Australia offers us and enjoy bush walking, mountain biking, running, camping and generally escaping Sydney when we can on the weekends

After spending over 10 years in the corporate world as an accountant, Chris now owns his own fence business - building fences across the Northern beaches of Sydney. He enjoys working hard to meet his customers needs and utilising his love of constructing things ;)

Helen is busy doing office work for the fencing business but she enjoys more her time in the garden (her much loved veggie patches), cooking, gym (having recently qualified as an RPM instructor) and spending time wit... more inside
