Hello Helpxers,

I have a large home in a Cairns suburb called Bayview Heights (10 min bus to Cairns CBD - walking distance to shopping centre 10 min) with my Jack Russel (Lola) and me, every few weeks my 14 year old daughter visits for a few days to a week. My home is partly renovated and my garden is pleasurable work in progress. If you like hydroponics Iíve just established a great system to keep enough veggies going for weeks at a time. Iím looking for Helpxers that want to help in garden with me, lifting, digging, weeding etc, mainly to keep me motivated too. Although if it rains I binge watch Netflix. If you can cook thatís great, we can take turns. In the past I often take a Helpxer shopping so you can choose your meals for any specific dietary requirements. Most evenings I have a beer n smoke at sunset out the back with some good tunes to take in the garden progress or plan the next few days. If you can speak Spanish thatís a bonus cause I plan to move to Spain within the... more inside

We live in a small town about 20 minutes west of Noosa and the gorgeous Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

We live on a small acreage, in a lovely housing estate. We can pick you up from the bus in Noosa or the train also comes through the town.

Public transport from town is somewhat limited, however we are happy to help out and drop you at the beaches on the weekends or on days when one of us is not working.

The type of work that we have to offer is:

- Gardening - we will have some timber that will need to be shifted following some trees being cut down. Need a workout & want to spend some time in the sunshine? Perfect! Plenty of weeds & garden beds that need a bit of turning over to get them into shape!
- House duties (cleaning/sorting etc.) Not heavy duty, just cleaning out cupboards etc.
- Sanding & re-oiling timber deck and some furniture
- If you happen to be a painter or a plasterer we would love someone to paint inside or outside some of our spaces!

Looking for help now in July 2020. We have a property in Brisbane and also one out in western QLD that is a sheep and cattle farm.

We are a young family with three children 13, 11 and 8. We live in the beautiful suburb of Brookfield right on the edge of a national park with riding trails and walks surrounding us. We have ten acres with a pool, dam, campfire and viewing deck for you to enjoy. Two horses, two cows, a dog and a cat not to mention all the other native wildlife are also there for your enjoyment.

We welcome young traveller's looking to stop and stay for a week or two and help around the house and property. You have your own separate accommodation external to the main house however kitchen and toilets are a part of the main house. Having your own transport is an advantage as we are a few kilometers to the local shop however not a necessity. Generally we are happy to help with transport.

Non Smokers only please.

We are a busy family home in the middle of an Arabian breeding property. We also both work elsewhere so sometimes dont have enough hours in the day.
We would be able to offer food and accomodation in our family home in exchange for 3 hours work a day. Our home is nearly new, has air/con and fireplace and wifi. You would have your own bedroom, would suit a couple. We are located in a beautiful area of Qld, just an hour from Noosa and within walking distance of State forest. Abundance of wildlife, kayaking, bicycle trails all within minutes of our home. We have a busy home with 4 dogs, chickens and cows.
Must be honest, must be trustworthy, must be easygoing.

Special conditions offered to an exceptional applicant, who is a competent and willing horse person. Possibility to be trained in and compete in endurance events.
