We are a budding raw goats' milk dairy, making cheese. In the mornings we have chores ~ milking cleaning, feeding horses and chickens. In the cool of the afternoon we work with our horses ~ either riding or educating. We are preparing for our youngest for his first show and waiting for a foal at Christmas time. We need a little help with the gardens and vegetable plot.other things include a bit of fencing and weeding with a vehicle and chain. More gardens to create and other projects along the way. We also have an indigenous food/medicine garden that needs work. There is much to learn and do with lots of fun, good humour with FIVE dogs and a couple of cats :)

Hi my name's Jean and I have been hosting now for six happy and interesting years. I live about a 20 minute drive from Mackay in a 4 bedroom house close (driving distance) to 4 beaches and within walking distance to a shopping centre.
I love cooking, especially international food and long dinners on the back patio with friends.
At the moment I need help with some painting on the outside of the house. It's not heavy work and the paint work is in good condition. If painting isn't your thing then the garden needs cleaning up
and new garden beds installed. I also need the inside of the house cleaned, it's not a big job a general clean. So you can take your pick.

I would prefer non smokers and you will need to have your own transport. If you don't have transport still get in touch with me as I may be able to arrange transport (my car would probably be too small to hold your backpacks)

We are two hours drive from Cairns. Our three children are one, four and six years old. Helper accommodation is a big bus.
Bathroom is shared with us, but there is plenty of hot water. We are building with bamboo, setting up aquaponics and gardens. There are plenty of other jobs depending on what you're into/ good
at. There are always the animals to feed and exercise (a donkey, turkeys, and rare breed dogs), but we normally take a few hours off in the middle of the day and go swimming, as there are lots of great swimming spots nearby (and on the tablelands
we have no crocodiles).

Your helping could include organising, cleaning or repairing things around home, office or outside.
I have a workshop shed for building and gardening. If you have handyman or construction skills great! There will be some small projects or painting to suit you. For guys you must be able to use power tools and be willing to work in a garden.
Inside duties-prefer a female-some cleaning and organising around the home and my office. If you can sew by machine or hand -fantastic!
Perhaps cleaning windows and in the garden replanting, trimming trees and weeding. Perhaps Computer work- placing ads for resale of household items.

Best suits solo guys (or girls) on 1 year visas and 24-29 years who dont mind getting their hands dirty and want a fun home to base themselves for a while and be a part of a good Aussie lifestyle. My guys leave fit and with a good suntan raving about the food!

I don't have time to teach you all the basic skills so preference will be given to those who ... more inside

Our location is just 1 hour north from Cairns. We are looking for assistance to maintain our farm and home, as well as assist with gardens. Generally my preference is for horticultural or gardening skills. Retired folks welcome. I offer home-style accommodation, a variety of cuisine (vegetarian available), inter-net connection, located 20-25 mins South of Cairns, regular bus transport available. Cairns is one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef. Gordonvale is ideally situated on the Mulgrave River allowing easy access to the Tablelands sitting nicely in between Cairns, Innisfail and Mission Beach, offering beautiful swimming holes, walking tracks, rafting adventures and small town country living. The Queensland style home has a lovely deck opening onto an in-ground salt water pool, surrounded by tropical gardens, in a quiet neighbourhood (more photos available). Guests are invited to do a small amount of light duties, housework, cooking, gardening or maintenance approx. 3 to 4 hrs per day energy exchange for accommodation and meals (shared preparation). Happy travels...we have a full house at the moment so can't use any helpers at the moment tol spring...
We live on two thirds of an acre in a beautiful, light and spacious home. It's me, Didi, I'm 63, and Arielle, 35, my daughter (we get on like best friends)and three delightful, well behaved, large dogs,Simba and Blossom, and their mum,Maya, so anyone comfortable with dogs is most welcome. The property is full of beautiful flowers and we have a pool if it's hot.

We're into a natural, healthy lifestyle, yoga and meditation.

The mountain is 575m above sea level so is about 5 degrees cooler than the coast. We have rainforest walks nearbye, great monthly markets and beautiful views around the mountain.

Help is always appreciated around the home -cleaning floors, windows etc, food prep is also welcome. We usually ask you to do 24 hours per week and we're flexible how you organise it.
