Landscaping/gardening July & August

We've recently embarked on a building project at our home and what was the garden is now in need of re-landscaping. Some heavy work is required to shift soil around the garden so this would be suitable if you are able to drive a small digger (which we can hire if needed). Lots of weeding to embark upon.

For the more experienced we will in time require the lawn and grass verge re-profile and turf laid.

Trees need to be cleared of ivy growth and outside maintenance required. Planting of hedges and flower beds in time.

This would be a great project to embark upon for a couple. You will have access to our large lower ground floor approx 5 meters x 8 meters which is set up as a bedroom/living room.

Our children have left home and we are older,we have a high standard of living with regular cooked meals. The house is in the countryside and has a beautiful view. Local towns and villages are easy to get to with a car. Now is the time we are really looking for help in the garden creating and adding new plants

We are a community-run, non-profit farm growing organic vegetables and fruit for 150+ households in Leamington Spa and the surrounding area. There are approx 10 acres of field vegetables, 2 acre orchard and 7 large polytunnels. We were established by and for the local community to provide sustainable and organic food in harmony with nature, with people not profit at the core.

We are one of the UK's most successful Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) projects with a membership of over 150 households. We provide a "share" of vegetables and fruit all year round and do not buy anything in from other farms, so our members get to enjoy truly seasonal produce every week of the year. We are a good place to visit if you are interested in alternative forms of community-based food production, especially CSAs. We have a small staff team but are supported by regular volunteers from the community which makes us a very sociable place to volunteer.

We host one 2-week "volunteer camp" per y... more inside

I live in a country village on the edge of the Cotswolds in a 250 year old converted farm house. In exchange for help (PREFERABLY A COUPLE OVER 30) with good quality decorating, small electrical jobs, some house repairs and gardening I would like to offer a comfortable double room with use of internet, kitchen and laundry facilities. Having your own transport would be useful although I am very willing to provides some lifts. I am happy to share cooking tasks and will provide basic food plus the odd treat!! There are 3 local pubs serving food, with buses to local towns. I do have room enough if you have your own campervan, should you require.
I am a qualified homeopath and am willing to teach some first aid homeopathy and conversational English. Stratford-on-Avon and Oxford are within easy car, bus or train access. London is 100 miles away and a train journey takes about 1 hour. For more information about me please go to website under my name.

We are a busy family of 5, living the perfect life in Somerset close to Glastonbury (perfect except that we have too much to do). We have a large garden in need of lots of work. We are needing at least two people to help tidy and prepare the garden for spring, to scrub a large stone floor and to help manage a woodland where all of the undergrowth needs clearing. Meals will be provided and accommodation is in a room attached to our house but with a separate outside entrance.

Beautiful old cottage and 'gardens' in the Tamar Valley, Cornwall, an area of outstanding natural beauty - between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, one mile (on foot) to the River Tamar, half an hour to the south coast and one hour to the north coast (by car).

Sue (Mum) and Grace (daughter) live here, Marcus lives up the hill, and various friends and family visit and join in. We are in the second year of a new plan for our land. Sue has been here for 34 years, raised a family, grown food, flowers and herbs, worked as a healing therapist and run courses and ceremony.

Much of the land is sloping, with limited sunlight hours but last year we got a south-facing flat piece of land! Our aim is to develop a new community project to grow more food, keep more chickens, plant a new orchard and develop the healing and community side with an emphasis on reconnecting with nature for health.

What’s needed is enthusiasm and flexibility for a wide variety of tasks – and extra strength and physi... more inside

We live in a small town on the edge of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire UK. Our house has a small piece of land and we are looking for volunteers to help with small building jobs such as putting in fencing/painting/planting out. We are looking ideally for volunteers who could work up to 4 hours per day for a week in June or July.
Our town is surrounded by beautiful countryside suitable for walkers, but on good transport links to both Manchester and Sheffield. Buxton is 8 miles away. Manchester offers theatres, museums, art galleries and great restaurants. The Peak District offers great walking, pubs, stately homes, archaeology and chocolate box villages. We are happy to have male or female volunteers of any age. We are two early retired professionals recently moved into our 1920s semi. We would be happy to show volunteers around the area as well as providing meals and a bed.

I am a single parent with 2 grown children and a girl of primary school age.
i run a small party decorating business and have a small general home and hardware store,

I am now in the process of equipping the shop

the wedding business is very interesting and demanding during the peak season of the year, because various wedding or party decorations jobs needs to be ready before taking them to venues.

This is very interesting but sometimes can be demanding due to other duties that needs to be done in the shop.

There are skills that can be learnt here which will be useful for knowing how to decorate for special occasions. how to design balloons and also how to arrange silk flowers and gain experience in customer service skills
you will also improve on English skills if this is needed

The person i am looking for must be a FEMALE that is very neat and clean

I am looking for someone who is willing to commit to at least a minimum of 2 weeks or more and also keep to th... more inside
