I am a 40 year old woman, I have lived for 5 years on 9 hectares of land with 9 horses and a dog. The place is very peaceful, very natural, far from the urban hubbub, ideal for recharging one's batteries. I live in a small self-built wooden house.
You can sleep in your truck or your tent, I have a caravan available and a space under the roof of the house.
The work mainly revolves around gardening, wooden constructions, various arrangements, maintenance of fences (brush cutting, woodcutting), the place is open to creation.(plastic arts, music...)
If you are experienced in the field of horses, we can share moments with them (work in animal traction, care, walks, support for activities).
I teach communication on foot and mounted with horses for children and adults, through an approach or the relationship with the animal predominates.
The meals are simple with the production of the garden, the consumption of meat is rare thing.
We will organize together so that everyone's rhythm a... more inside

I would like to invite you to spend some time in this magnificent area in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
The mount 'Canigou' seems planted at the edg of my garden,2874 m above the sealevel and sacred for all Catalans.Looking on Prades as from a balkony,a pleasant house to live.
Every 23th of June 'la trobada' assembles Catalans from the north as from the south (Spain), a huge fire is made on top and brought down to multiples towns and villages where there's music and dancing celebrating summer solstice.
While staying at my place I'd love you to discover all this, easy and so cheap ( for 1 euro one way ride on bus or train) trough the whole department!
I will need trees to be cut and other cleaning up, having experience with a chainsaw is a plus!
Otherwise some gardening, mending the acces to the site, little jobs on an around the house...
Accommodation in the house or tent, according to what's available.
I ask 5 hrs/day,5 days week work for board + 3 meals a d... more inside

I live in an old farm and farmhouse, La Rougerie, in Normandy. I have converted a cottage into a B&B with 4 bedrooms (all en suite) and the first barn into a gite. The next stage is to convert the next barn. I also have a Yurt and a campsite,a chicken, geese, goats and 2 cats. With the guest-accommodation, farm and further buildings to be converted, I could always do with an extra pair of hands. Skills can range from building, painting, cleaning, taking care of the animals, farming hay and general maintenance. Someone with a sense of humour would be great. I enjoy music so you may find all sorts playing, from classical to Genesis or Roxy Music!

Current project (weather dependant) include:
1. house building
2. Rocket water heater

I offer accommodation and all meals included in return for 5 working hours per day, 5 days a week. After a week I'm happy to give a day tour of the battlefields ...

Easy to find and get to .. .By train leave Paris at the Gare de St Lazare... more inside
