Gorgeous property built out of recycled building materials in the heart of Healesville. This town is situated in the famous Yarra Valley. We have a lot to offer in the valley, we have wineries, sanctuary with exclusively australian animals, tourist railway, organic market, plenty of nature walks in the hills, galleries, maze, large dam etc. The property is 1 minute walk to the main street/shops area.

I'm looking for people to help me with my exciting new project, which is built out of 97% recycled building materials, and then turned into a social enterprise initiative including studio spaces, cooking classes, art, music, and other interesting, things with the overall aim of social cohesion and sustainability.

I'm very passionate about this project, my goal is to create something interesting and different, to benefit many different types of people within the local community.

This project is at the final stages (i feel that i have another 12 months to complete the building), an... more inside

We want to finish our front fence and redesign our aquaponics in the front yard. This is fairly straight forward work. I can build the stands so its mainly moving stones, some sanding and maybe some oiling. After this there are a host of fiddly things including finishing the kitchen - floor finishing, slab bench tops, under sink cabinets..., sorting the aquaponic systems in the back, getting better at making heat pellets, milling some timber at three or so sites, setting up the website for our bicycle hurse project, tidying the garden, organising some bees.... And the big project is working out what we want to build in the back yard and starting on the building approval process. So if you have some skills/experience on tools or building you would be much appreciated and this might be a chance to see some different building ideas.

You can see our website for more details or watch this video of us and our place - see below if you are a premier member. Basically we have a hou... more inside

I am looking for someone to stay and assist with some house cleaning as I have just moved into a place and it could use some wall cleaning and some other odd jobs like assisting me to organise the house.

I am a friendly and sensitive person and it would be nice to have a friendly person to assist with this.

I live in a suburb on a beautiful beach side and I am a few hundred metres from Monash University peninsula campus.

Easy to travel to Melbourne city from my place or to the lovely Mornington Peninsula

It is about 7 - 10 days of work for just one person so it is not really ideal or suitable for two people

and my place has large windows that receive more sunlight through then any place around : - )

I am looking for a helper anytime now

We live in a quiet rural town in the Mallee wheat belt in Victoria. There is no public transport apart from a daily bus to and from Bendigo, which is 200kms away. Your own transport would be an advantage. If you do not have your own transport, we can arrange pick-up from Swan Hill (66kms) station. There is a daily train from Melbourne to Swan Hill. Nearest shops are 20kms away. There is limited internet and mobile phone coverage in this area, depends who your provider is.
We need light renovation work, gardening, handyman jobs and some general maintenance.
3 - 4 hours daily, 5 days a week, rest of the time is yours. All food included, but cannot cater for vegetarians. Must be able to cook some meals for yourself and clean up afterwards.
Choice of bedroom inside the house or 2 berth caravan in back yard. NSI.
Initial stay 3 - 7 days, negotiable to stay longer if compatable. Couples will be considered.
All nationalities are welcome, but must be able to speak basic English.

*** Looking for HelpX NOW! ***

*** We need more hands to help on our farm during these busy months ***

Hello, we are Chris & Diane of Mt Beckworth Free Range.

Our mixed breed farm is situated at the foothills of Mt Beckworth in the beautiful Central Goldfields region of Victoria.

On our farm we raise free range pigs, goats, geese, ducks, chickens and some deer.

We ran a successful crowd funding campaign, raising funds to enable us to build an on-farm butchery.  ( You can read all about our story and the project here www.pozi.be/freerange )

We now need your help with the day to day running of the farm to enable us to time to complete the build of our on-farm butchery!!

Jobs include feeding the pigs, caring for livestock and general farm tasks.  We always have farrowing sows and lots of piglets that require attention and many baby goat kids, goslings, chickens and ducklings at certain times of the year.  We would expect you to work for around 5-6 hours per d... more inside

Accommodation here is self contained and separate from my house, in amongst the trees and bush of Warrandyte. Morning walks with the dog along the Yarra River are a beautiful start to the day. The area is surrounded by State Parks, and includes the Yarra River so it is very peaceful, and good for swimming in summer. There is a lot of gardening and many odd jobs for you to help with and plenty of time to explore the Yarra Valley. At times help on community art projects may be useful. The weekends are kept free for sailing! If you are handy on a boat that would be a great bonus, but not at all necessary. (Those who prefer to stay on dry land are welcome to travel across town with us and explore the bayside areas)
It is a healthy property and seeks helpers who don't smoke or have unhealthy habits. Food options are varied and there is the choice to eat with me in the house or cook for yourself. Our local shops are five to seven minutes by car and this is also where a bus into Mel... more inside

We provide an opportunity for riders who have established riding ability who desire to apply for a second year visa. As a rule we have about four or five horses being worked daily so there is plenty of work for those who are riders or enjoy working with horses and it provides a great opportunity to improve riding skills.

We have been training and breeding competition horses for over forty years and information about us is available on the web. For those that wish to review that information, Google search for our property name which is Northern Warmblood Stud, or Northern Warmbloods.

The property is approximately two and a half hours from Melbourne, a bus/train serves the local area from Melbourne. We have the full range of farm related duties that helpers can be involved in as well.

If you have further questions feel free to contact us on my mobile.
