CURRENT DATES AVAILABLE
Hi Helpers!
Its good to be hosting again, I have been running my place as an airbnb so didnt have enough time to take Helpers, to busy with guests.
Now my house is sold, the new owners arrive November 20th. I have to leave this 6 acres and large house neat and tidy and pack and transport my things to the new house 10 minutes drive away. There I will need people who have had experience in house painting, plastering, carpentry and of course gardening. I would prefer you have your own car or van. But will consider without, its just there is no public transport nearby. However I do my best to do some sightseeing with you. This area is so beautiful.

A bit about me: 2012 I returned from six years teaching English as a second language in Brunei on the island of Borneo, Sth East Asia.
I was lucky enough to purchase a magic six acre property with a huge swimming pool, large pole house, spring fed dam and amazing views 30 mins into the lush hinterland from Noo... more inside

Well-established Permaculture property with orchard, garden and animal systems located ten minutes from Noosa and seven minutes from (famous) Eumundi Markets. (But public transport VERY poor in this area - see note at the end)

Dave is a past Permaculture Teacher and willing to offer training to anyone keen to increase their knowledge of Permaculture systems. We are a laid-back but hard working couple who enjoy the "good life" in all its simplicity. We practice fermenting - beer, sauerkraut, kefir and make our own cheeses.
We are looking for a single person or happy couple preferably with practical skills to assist with gardening, collecting animal fodder, maybe some lifting/digging as required for 2-4 hrs/day and Permaculture trainees would get particular benefit.

We can offer accommodation (or van parking site), teaching and two meals/day (what we normally eat) plus access to caravan gas burner & fridge space for up to 25 hours work a week. Successful applicant(s) will beg... more inside

We are a family owned and operated beef cattle property on the east coast, 2hrs north of Rockhampton and 2hrs south of Mackay.

Throughout the year we are looking for willing people to help out around the house, with the children, in the garden and at times around the property.

Food and private cottage accommodation are provided however you would need to have your own wifi.

We do prefer people to want to stay longer than 1 week however we are flexible.

Our previous helpers have thoroughly enjoyed their time with us and have had some stay up to 6mths. We still stay in close contact with them and have them come back to visit for Christmas/Easter/Birthday's etc.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Our farm is a place where you will learn so many things and will be encouraged to experience a life that you will find very different to what you may have expected or experienced so far in Australia. So if you are sick of hanging out in backpacker hostels and want to refuel body and mind, read on!

From all the various farm jobs to working with animals, to producing and cooking food. It will all be new and interesting. Our lifestyle has had a positive effect on all our past helpers, just read our reviews to see how good it has been for them. We've had some really great helpers and they have said some lovely things about us! We enjoy having people here and they seem to enjoy it too.

Kim and Lucy run a free range pig operation, but also run a cattle herd and have other animals like horses, chickens, ducks, sheep and goats. NOOSA COUNTRY -
We live in a comfortable, 4 bedroom house on a picturesque, small acreage at the base of Mt Tinbeerwah, which is in the Noosa hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. (15 minutes from Noosa Heads,a popular beach and surfing location) A bus goes past the door and there is a train station at Cooroy.(3kms away)

Known as Treetops Country Escape, This lovely brick home with cathedral ceilings and chandeliers, on 30 acres, is a peaceful, serene environment that has a lot of space for fun and adventure, or relaxing and time out.

I have just recently taken over this Property that had once included an organic lemon orchard. Only a portion of this remains due to drought. There are a lot of repairs and re-establishing of the property in process, and will be ongoing for a long time as I slowly work through all the various jobs.

Getting here: If you do not have transportation, I can meet you at the train or bus and pick you up and drop you off. We can discuss any other needs while you are here.

There is a Queen Sized Bed, with King Sized Doona and comfortable bedding, Mattress Topper, Wardrobes, Insect screens, Security screens, and it's in your own room. There is a single fold away mattress on frame if needed.

The bathroom facilities are shared as there is only one bathroom in the ho... more inside

We own and run a small lime orchard, 2000+ trees in the fabulous Fraser Coast area.

We are focused on biological / biodynamic farming methods, concentrating on soil health and biology to gain better nutrition levels in the trees and fruit.

We love our two dogs, cat, horses, cows and chooks and when we get time enjoy growing our own veggies and herbs and some fruits.

We are looking for people to stay with us, share stories, cultures and a joke or two (your accommodation will be a two room self contained unit) enjoy meals with us and in exchange join us in doing stuff around the farm (such as picking, pruning, mulching irrigation and helping out with the animals, garden beds, general farm maintenance and tidy up) for 4 - 5 hours a day 5 days a week.

Two people traveling together work well for us.

We generally look for 2 week stays with longer stays negotiated once we all get to know each other.

The farm is a no smoking site.

Maryborough is part of the Fraser... more inside
