I am looking for someone to help me with riding horses, mustering on horseback, spraying weeds, offsiding, driving 4wd vehicles between properties. I also need help with fencing. Some fences need to be strained and some repaired. I reside on a large forestry block that runs beef cattle. There is a small cottage on this block which is used for accommodation. Local shops are 40kms away by vehicle. I am able to provide transport to and from the local shops. I would also like help with some domestic duties and cooking.Smoking is permitted. No children or pets allowed. I am predominately a meat eater but vegetarian meals can be provided by yourself. Auburn falls (national park) is a place of local interest to backpackers, which is 25kms away. The closest township has a population of about 2000 people. There is an op shop, banks, chemist, grocery shop, library and a post office situated in this township.

Hi there. Welcome to Crystal Cascades.
We have an acre of land surrounded by rain forest to relax in when you are not working. Peter and I are both shift workers so our hours are erratic. We like you to share meals and conversation with us but if you like to have a few alcoholic drinks please bring some with you. Sometimes you will start the day without us (if we are at work) or have parts of the day to yourself. Also our 2 greyhound dogs love a daily walk and lots of attention. We prefer a couple and non smokers. We have a pool and are walking distance from Crystal Cascades - a very popular local swimming hole with Bush walks as well.
We are NOT on a public transport so you will have much more freedom with you own transport. We can offer lifts to the bus stop at various times but our work is very varied so only when our work time allows. We have mobile phone range and wifi access. Of course all your meals are provided.
We are just looking for 7 to 10 days help.
At the moment... more inside

Hi, we are located in the upper freestone valley with freestone creek on one side and willy's gully running through the middle of the farm. The farm is mixed grain and cattle, we grow crops including corn, sorghum, forage sorghum, oats, wheat, barley, chickpeas and mungbeans. There are 45 head of cattle, 1 horse, 2 dogs, a few chickens and a range of native animals. While Jess works and stays in Brisbane 4 night's a week, I work the farm. I also have 3 children going to school that are 11, 13, and 15 years old. They are reasonably self sufficient and help me when I ask that them, but some help with day to day chores would be much appreciated.
So I'm offering food and acommadation in excange for a casual 4 hour's a day to help out in the house and around the farm. The kids are here 7 days in every 14 days, so not as much help is needed in the 7 days they are not here. Which would allow host to see some of the local attractions in the area. I do not have a spare vehicle here at th... more inside

OCTOBER through to MARCH
I have a horse riding business with horses. I would love one female/male who has even limited horse experience eg. rugging the horses experiene. Also some minor farm work; whipper, watering, growing vegies, perhaps some cleaning. I have a one bedroom apartment.

My property is beautiful and 8 minutes drive from Port Douglas whereupon there are a multitude of fun things to do.

I am one hour north of Cairns and 1 hour from Atherton Tablelands. I am on the coast in Far North Queensland, Australia.
