A property nestled in the state forest, less than an hour south of Perth CBD. It is a 10 min drive from Armadale station (it would give you more freedom if you had your own vehicle, as the nearest town is 10 kms from the property).

It was originally a commercial orchard, however over the past 5 years I have been restoring it back to native bush for conservation.
If you enjoy the quiet life and like the outdoors and have manual skills this would be ideal.

I will provide accommodation (one couple and one single bedroom, shared bathroom) with wifi and I'm happy to share small essentials but you will have to provide your own food. Also I work away half of the week so you'll need to be self-reliant.
Hours are flexible, but 12 hours of work a week is expected. Work may include gardening, cleaning and depending your skill set, I could have others tasks for you.

On my property you'll get to meet Pinpin the alpaca, George the crazy bird (sulphur-crested cockatoo), and you are welc... more inside

Nothing hard or complicated just a couple of hours work each day. Train station and bus stop a close walk, Perth city is 30mins by train. Your welcome to go off and explore in the day or even have a part time job and put in your hours in the evenings. Lockable private room with double bed and own bathroom. It`s just me, this is not a house with kids or lots of family to chat with. some chickens and the cat are the only others. Would be nice to have some sociable visitors and talk about their adventures and share meals together I have travelled the world and Australia myself. Please email any requests or questions before calling as I work in a department that doesn`t allow me to take calls.you Can stay a night or more, might even be able to pick you up from the airport as its not far. We live in a simple, older style house on one acre of land in a semi rural setting in the hills about 40 km east of centre of Perth. We are close to the small township of Mundaring with shops and access to public transport. We have some fruit trees, grow some of our own vegetables (but not much in summer), keep chickens and have one old very spoilt dog and one very lively 6 month old pup, who both live inside the house most of the time. Peter has a bad back condition that prevents him from doing physical work so we require reliable people to help with gardening and house maintenance work. You will be welcome to access our wireless internet connection.
PS. The photos are taken in winter. Its much dryer in summer so not as pretty, but we do have a small swimming pool to cool down in. We are happy to feed you your main evening meal and you will be welcome to help yourself to what you like for breakfast and lunch. Jenny is a Home Economics teacher so is a great cook. Peter is retire... more inside

My home is located 10 mins from Dunsborough, Smith's Beach and Yallingup and 30 minutes from Margaret River. I have quite a large vegetable garden and some fruit trees but most of my block is trees and bush. I have a large house and live by myself. From the photo you can see there is also a cottage next door which I rent out. I would love some help with the garden, particularly the vegetable garden and to finish off some painting jobs around the house. As I live in a bush fire zone, I also need help to keep all the bush neat and tidy and fire safe. During winter I need to do burning off in the bush to keep it safe. There are lots of different jobs to do here. If you like working outdoors, gardening or painting and want an opportunity to stay for a few days in the middle of the very popular tourist area of Dunsborough and Margaret River, please contact me. I am happy to host single people or a couple in my home. I have uploaded photos of one of the bedrooms and bathroom you cou... more inside
