Hiya
I'm looking for a more mature woman.
I have smallholding with a variety of animals. I have spent many years travelling around, and working on the land doing everything from picking daffodils to looking after a herd of Hereford cows.
I have now settled down and have collected a variety of animals for myself! Ihave 8 goats, 2 milking at any given time, two suffolk cross ewes and two Jacobs. Assorted poultry, some pure breeds, some hybrids. Geese, Muscovy and Runner Duck crosses (The Borg). 2 pigs; Mangalitza (the woolly pig). Dogs, cat's.
I am growing and I use a variety of culinary and medicinal herbs for myself and the animals. I have young fruit trees, soft fruit area and lots of raised beds in progress. I go to the local shows with the goats.
I are aiming to be as self-sufficient as possible, and will expect helpers to chip in with everything! As I have recently relocated to this property I am still getting organised around the place. Accommodation is in the main house... more inside

Hello! We are John and Valerie, and Sammy and Mojo our dogs. We're at pioneer stage here setting up our smallholding farm, home and nature spaces.

We are gonna need loooots of help!.. Accommodation is a caravan or we can make you a very cosy nest in a large tent with lots of bedding - mattress, duvet/blankets, pillows etc. There's lots of wood for the campfire, a hangout space and shower in the polytunnel.

We're not far from the coast here about 8km to beaches and Rosscarbery, we've a small village nearby and we're about halfway between Clonakilty and Skibbereen towns.

We've lots going on here but are easy-going too! We're surrounded by the beautiful West Cork countryside, with hills to w... more inside

We live in a house that was built by our family in 1789, it runs as a tillage farm in co.kildare an hour south of dublin. the grounds around millbrook are in need of attention as we have not had gardeners for several years.
We are looking for people to help in and around the house which could include painting walls etc. I am a sculptor and occasionally need some studio help..Our work hours are very flexible as indeed are most days as I am not running a business. Apart from the farm which my husband runs with his son. We have 3 horses any number of hens, peacocks and of course 2 dogs.
Anyone volunteering would be very much part of the family and stay and live as we. In general we prefer two friends or a couple as they keep each other company during the day, but if you are the type that loves their own company you would also be happy here.
Dublin ,the capital city is only 60 minutes by train so there is always opportunity to spend a couple of days there. Southwards there is the be... more inside
