[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW ]

Bonjour,

Hi everyone!

We are Pierre and Claire, installed recently in the Armoric's Coast.
After many travels and experiences, we decided to put our luggage between Guingamp and Carhaix in a corner of peaceful nature.

We are committed to ecology, respect for all, and we want sharing and exchange of services.
We are both musicians . We speak French, English and a little Dutch and Icelandic remains.

Both are vegetarian and want to live as independently as possible!
The place is full of potential, allows us to create multiple projects on the ground so that this place becomes a haven of peace, love and light.
We've an association in socio-cultural, ecology and wellness. We would like to create events on this place...

We are looking for help to:
- Cut, assemble and pack firewood
- Maintain, digging, planting, harvesting in the vegetable garden
- Build various places of rest and recreation (wooden huts, bread oven, barbecue, swing, solar shower, hen house, shelters wood, ....)... more inside

We are a young french couple who are living in the Hautes-Pyrénées, near Lannemezan.
Fabien is mountain guide, and Charlene is farmer.

We have a big garden with medicinals plants and vegetables. We are experimenting different ways to cultivate. We are always satisfied to learn various agricultural technicals. It is important for us to use all the resources that we have on the spot, plants, trees, compost, shearing, rather than to bring elements from outside.
We sell our production with two market by week so it's lot of work!
We have five cheeps, five chickens and two cats.Sometimes, there is dunkeys in the place to eat grass.

The activities are diverse: mainly of the gardening(weeding, ground work, seedling, plant and transplant), take care a few sheeps, sort out seeds and spices, make the picking of wild plants, prepare herb teas and prepare the market.
Generally we work the week and you can take you week end free to visit or what you want.

Martin and I are retired but very active. I was a teacher and ran a business, Martin was a builder and it's largely thanks to him that most of our old farm buildings here have been sensitively renovated in the local style. We live just to the north of Bergerac and have over a hectare of land with a few goats, a few hens, a vegetable garden, more fruit and walnut trees than we need, and we run a couple of popular holiday properties on the site. I speak good French although the main language in the house is English.

We really appreciate an extra hand from willing guests from time to time, and the chance to make new friends, hear new perspectives, and share stories round our table.

Although we are in a rural location, the lovely town of Bergerac is 5 minutes by car, with lots of things going on there as well as train and bus link... more inside

Spring is here now finally! and we need help on our secluded and quiet horse farm in the beautiful Limoges area of central France, at Retabout, soon to be the home of some elephants as my next door neighbours are building an elephant sanctuary!. We have two horses however. The horses live in freedom, yet still need handling and caring for. I have a natural horsemanship approach and know how to do a natural hoof trim, which I can teach you.
I have got MS and that's why I am limited in my energy
There is also work to be done with the fences, clean out the barns, driving a tractor to clear meadows and feed the horses hay, work in the garden and other farm type work. If you are a mechanic you can help with the two antique tractors.

We are looking for people that can help us in the either of following ways:
- all the kinds of work mentioned above. You help us about 4 hours a day, we offer free meals and accomodation
- you help us 2 hours a day and we offer accomodation. You org... more inside
