I'm searching for volunteers to help me build a small cob house in the little town of Aguaviva de la Vega (Soria). My grandparents town. There is a main house with all facilities: Shower, kitchen, beds. The build site is in an adjacent property. We will work making cob walls, gardening the land. There are also maintenance work to do in the main house. There's no minimum stay.
It's only for the days of 2,3,4 and 5 of June because I dont live there all year.
We will share the food. I can make some tipical spanish food and paella's.
There's no wifi connection in the house, there's cellphone signal (but it depends on the provider).
There's no fixed hours to work. Sometimes is hot here so it depends on the weather.
The rest of day you can walk around, read, meditate, etc... Also I know some old caves near the town for small retreats.
If you need more details contact me and I'll be glad to help.

PD: The closest city if you have no car is Arcos de Jalón. There's a train connectin... more inside

Hi everyone, I need some help doing maintenance/repairs on the apartment I bought. It will mainly be painting/caulking on windows but if you have plumbing or electrical skills please contact me as well.

A bit about myself and the place; after a career on luxury yachts around the world I have finally settled down in Valencia. I have a flat here which is very well located in relation to the old town centre, Park Turia, the beach and the universities. It looks out over a small plaza with big trees which is teeming with pigeons, lorikeets and all kinds of birds at sunset. Subway station at 1 minute walking distance which connects directly to the airport, city and the beach. However, you can also just walk everywhere or use the city's public bike system. The beach, the infamous Cuidad de las Artes y Sciencias, the biggest aquarium in Europe, and a modern shopping mall (Aqua, Corte Ingles) are within 10-15 min. walking distance..not to mention Plaza de Cedro, the student going-out are... more inside

Hello!
We are Savino, Ana and Fabio, we are located on an abandoned winter stay for the cattles. Down in the valley is a little river running and there are some springs. The piece of land we are on has one building witch is in good shape. But it is just a little barn. There are about 6 ruins on other plots. We have the basic things ready to stay there permanently, like shelter, drinking water (spring water is now reaching our plot), solar energy (solarpannel up and running). We have the yurte ready and we fix a barn where the donkeys sleep. We have some animals: two donkeys (mother and daughter), a cat and chickens.
Now things can evolve in many direction.
Savino speaks English, Spanish, German, Italian, French and Swiss German. Ana speaks Spanish, German, Italian and a little English.
We are a rural project close to Pandiello, Cabrales. It is a very peaceful place acessable only by foot It's approx. one hour walking, the path is not very difficult but it's narrow.
We want to c... more inside

SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROJECT NEAR ORGIVA.

For the past five years we have had the great fortune to be able to live in a magnificent and remote place where we have been able to develop a full project aimed at life in self-sufficiency. With the help of numerous people who have contributed to our idea, we have come to complete many of the projects that have made our life easier and easier every day, so after a lot of work and love we can say that we are in the good way to someday achieve our goal of being independent of the "System".
To achieve this, in our farm we have a garden of vegetables and fruit trees, in continuous progression and improvement, and a poultry yard. Depending on the season, the production of food on the farm can be very abundant, but we usually complete our food with products from local networks.
The tasks to be performed on the farm will be oriented to the maintenance and improvement of the different gardens and the collection of beneficial plants that we have, ... more inside

Hi,(please check out my old helpx profile 4862, many reviews on there. Had to make this new one as passwords where lost because of a laptop reset)

Vista Del Aguila is a 2 acre off-grid property in the mountains mostly of olive groves.
Situated 25minutes walk from typical Andalucian village in the province of Malaga.
There is a bus from Malaga (takes 1hour) It also goes to Ronda (also 1 hour away)
Depending on the time of the year there are various jobs to do here. . olive picking, pruning and burning, weeding/tree maintenance., some landscaping and cleaning.

The exchange (depending on the time of year) is either 4-5 hours a day for food and accommodation or 2 hours/ a day for accommodation only.
The accommodation is in spacious self contained independent trailer/sheperds Hut, with solar shower and compost toilet.
Depending on the jobs at hand..you will be provided with delicious meals or provisions to make your own.
Thanks!
