Hi - We live on 10 acres overlooking the fabulous Whangateau Harbour, Omaha Beach and the East Coast. We'd like some help with some outdoor work during summer. We live close to beaches and great recreational facilities, we're just out of Matakana so there are cafes, theatres, markets etc nearby, and Auckland is less than an hour away. Our three children have left home but visit regularly (with grandchildren), we are keen travelers, enjoy meeting new people and the outdoors and are pretty relaxed. We are are non-smokers and you will need a car. In return for about 4 - 5 hours a day we'll provide you comfortable accommodation, food and a relaxed environment. We have wifi and all the bits that keep everyone happy!

I live next door to my dad on his property in rural Helensville. We are 10 mins from hot pools and a bit further to west coast and inner harbour beaches There is mountain biking close by also. This property is quite big to maintain so I usually need help with gardening, and general maintenance, Lawn mowing and weeding. There is always various jobs to do. The accomodation is a converted caravan or a spare room so would be good for a single or couple.I would like short term stays Up to a week but maybe longer .There are chickens cats and 2 dogs here so you will need to like animals.Im pretty relaxed and open minded so if you like peaceful setting with nice garden and good food contact me. At the moment I need someone to give a hand with odd jobs and general garden tidy up. We are at the end of a dead end street and its very peaceful and nice here. Look forward to hearing from you.

We are a friendly open family who would like a cultural exchange with people from different places. We would like to show you around our beautiful city and hope to learn about your country and culture.

We need help with the 3 youngest. 8 years old, 3 years old, and 20 months. We need help looking after the kids when school is back on Jan 29-Feb 23, 7:30-8:45 then 2:45-4pm (until 5pm on tuesday/wednesday). Ideally, we would like to have someone a few days before to be a part of the family and get to know us. You need to have a full drivers license to drive the children to school/daycare - car provided. We have cats that are free to come inside so not suitable for people with allergies. We eat typical family meals. We live in Hill Park, Manurewa - very close to Auckland Botanic Gardens and we have a pool at home. Couples negotiable. No smokers at all, please.

A friendly older couple who live on a lifestyle block 10 minutes drive from the Papakura township. Papakura is a self-contained town and yet is close to the train to catch into Auckland City for a visit. Perched on the edge of the greater Auckland metropolitan area, Papakuraís town centre is a diverse and charming environment in which to shop, work or socialise.

Our small rustic home has beautiful country views and is especially good when there are airshows put on by the nearby Ardmore aerodrome. Even though we live on a quiet country road you can expect to hear many chirping birds.
Tasks that you will be likely to do include gardening, ironing, painting, cooking, housework. We have chickens, a large vegetable and flower garden.
You would probably need a car as we are rural and not on a bus route.
We often travel to our holiday home near Waihi Beach so you would also come with us.

We hope to hear from you soon.

I have a small lifestyle block in Matakana... the Tuscany of NZ! We are home to a menagerie of animals - horses, chickens, goats, doves, dogs, cats and one very talkative cockatoo called Toffee. I have rental houses also on the property and each one has a garden that requires care and maintenance. There is always plenty to do with firewood, weeding, fences, gardening, house maintenance etc.
The Matakana area is stunning and the village is famous for its cinemas, markets and cafes. Endless choice of beaches, regional parks and activities, with Goat Island marine reserve 5 minutes drive away. Deni lives here with her son Keanu, and friendly tenants that share the property. Presently I have a flatmate also - Jim the builder. We look forward to meeting you!!

We live on a large lifestyle bock, mostly in native bush with our food systems growing amongst it. We value a clean environment and minimal waste and living with a small footprint.
Being off grid and water conscious are two constant factors to be mindful of.
I am a home based artist with a pottery studio and family life combined. My studio has gas and wood fired kilns and a small gallery out the front.
We like hosting independent, practical, resourceful types who immerse into the lifestyle on the Barrier.
The type of work depends on what projects are going on at the time....maintenance, gardening, building, cleaning, firewood etc I like to tap into peoples strengths and interests to determine what sort of thing suits them best.
Your accommodation is a cozy caravan separate from the family dwelling. We share meals and tasks after the work is done. 4 hours work is exchanged for food and bed.

We have a small rural property where there's always something to be done in the garden and around the house.

Itís just us two (no kids), 2 cats and some chickens.

You'll stay in the spare room of our new house which is in a quiet location only a 5-minute drive to Silverdale or 30 mins to Auckland city.

You'll have access to your own bathroom/shower and share the rest of the house with us. We have a lovely, warm house and a wood-burner and hot tub to keep warm in winter.

WIFI is available and mobile reception.

Evening meals are supplied, along with food for making your own breakfast and lunch. And if you like to cook that's fine too.

If you have your own transport, some of Aucklandís best beaches and walks (Orewa, Stanmore Bay, Long Bay) are only 20 mins away and SnowPlanet is a 5-minute drive.

The room has a queen-size bed. Non-smokers only, please.

We'd like you to work around 4 hours a day (so, for example, you could do 8 hours one day and take the next... more inside
