August Sept 2019 I may be in a state of flux before finally getting to the 3.5 acres When I do get there will be in a 2bed caravan while working on the site Until then am in Perth but people may be welcome Perth - just ask or see my CS profile

I am looking for some light help cleaning organising outside help. planting etc and even some admin or web research work if it suits

I have no fixed views on how long you can come for 2 or 3 days or longer. Even had CS who came to my last place for 2 days and stayed 2 months

2 Volunteers required on the North West Coast of Scotland.

We have a small family chalet park near Ullapool on the North coast 500 route 3 miles south of Ullapool. We require 3 hours help per day to assist with a number of projects which the weather dictates. You will have your own room and shared bathroom. Would suit 2 friends who enjoy the outdoors and can stay for 2 weeks. You will have plenty time to go off and explore the area.

Must be fit and healthy as some outdoor work requires lifting and carrying. On wet days indoor work like cleaning and ironing will be required.

Our beautiful meditation centre is in a Grade II listed Victorian building in a quiet green part of town. It's only a short 10 mintue walk to the the town centre and to a beach that stretches along the coast and has lovely, white sand.

We are a modern Buddhist community and offer structured classes on meditation, mindfulness and we also offer retreats. In exchange for 25hrs of work per week working visitors are free to attend any of these classes or events.

Please note: Since KMC Wales is a Buddhist Centre, visitors are asked to abide by the Centre Rules, which are: no killing any living being (including insects); no stealing; no lying; no sexual misconduct; no taking drugs, alcohol or cigarettes. We are also a vegetarian community, so meat is not allowed to be prepared or consumed on the premises.

We need someone ASAP to help with work in the basement and digging in the garden (damp proofing the house). You can take regular tea breaks and we offer refreshments.

Please read this completely and carefully so that we're able to offer you what you need. This is a lovely area to visit.
Please email initially.

We are looking for 2 people whose first language is English and who are over 26 yrs, to help with gardening. Some of the jobs are heavy.

While wanting to be welcoming, we don`t offer much in the way of entertainment, but will suit independent people who have their own transport, and are wanting to explore the area themselves on their days off. Buses are not great round here which is why people with a car generally have an easier time . (Tunbridge Wells is an interesting town to visit. There are some nice attractions nearby.)
We provide 3 meals a day, but if you want to cook for yourself sometimes, you are very welcome.

Also, there might be some painting and decorating, and perhaps a few handyman tasks.

This homestay will suit people who are over 26, and whose first language is English, or whose English is very good. We ... more inside

We have two needs

Temporary- from late september to mid december we need help in our commercial dairy. This can be paid work

permanently- we need and electrical or mechanical engineer to maintain our anaerobic digestor and develop our emission management plant.

We are a family farm, with a dairy herd of Brown Swiss cows on a New Zealand paddock grazing system.
We grow as much of the cattle feed as possible. We also have an anaerobic digester 180KWh
Our outputs are cheese and electricity. We are not organic, but have received many awards for education and sustainable farming/green energy/environmental issues.
We have hosted several people through other schemes, vetinary students, cheesemakers, people interested in anaerobic digestion, we are Warmshowers hosts.
We are particularly interesrested in helpers who are able to help in teh cheeserooms making cheese.

Its warm here, the hot water from the anaerobic digestion heats the house!

Accommodation in our lowly but characterful three hundred year old fen edge cottage. Its scruffy and often a bit dirty as I'm decluttering the house and improving a horse yard Iíve just taken over these days. But summer is still here and its beautiful if you like animals and countryside and medieval cities and scruffy old cottages.

Its exactly halfway along the road from Cambridge to Newmarket, the capital of horseracing. Itís 7 miles from each centre. That takes about 15 mins in flowing traffic and considerably more in rush hour.
Urgently in need of helpers at the moment Please come

There is a bus into town(s) from the corner and there is also the park and ride service which is cheaper and quicker than the regular bus which is nearby so we can always run you to or from there in our car.

We are a couple in our mid sixties. I'm a semi-retired freelance English language teacher, trainer. My hope is to care for retired horses along with my own. I also have 4 cats, a dog, a... more inside

We are a family home comprising of 6 of us (us and our 4 grown up tribe who stay at home sometimes) coming and going , 2 dogs, a rabbit and 3 sheep ecolawn mowers. There is usually lots going on and we like that. We are looking for an individual or couple that are both happy to muck in and be hands on. Short stays are fine, longer stays considered. There are lots of things to do inside the house and out, but we are quite relaxed and open to new ideas. It would be hugely beneficial to us if you have any skills such as carpentry. At this time of year, we need help with a variety of tasks, from strimming and brush cutting, to collecting and preparing firewood. The large garden is always in need of weeding and pruning. Cooking and cleaning are always a welcome addition.
We are at the beginning of growing food and making the most of the land but would like help to build on this. There is also plenty of space for camping, definitely welcome skills to help to build a compost loo, compost... more inside

This is a beautiful old Scottish house nestled in the woods to the south of the island of Gigha. I run it myself (but kept company by Luna the springador!) as a B&B and also run music retreats, or indeed hope to run any kind of retreat as its a tranquil spot which has a soothing energy.

I moved here in January 2019 and then broke my leg! So am a little behind on all sorts of outside projects. I am setting up an organic veg garden, want to clear land to plant fruit trees, clear space for a self catering pod, clear overgrown trees, and create a forest garden. Oh and wood chopping. Much wood needing processed.
Inside jobs include some painting.

It would be great to have some help and energy and ideas from volunteers. I will cook yummy food and I do also play music. So bring an instrument as its great to play with others.

I will have accommodation in a comfy and cosy caravan in my back garden which you can have to yourself or if I am not busy have spare rooms in the house its... more inside
