Hello,

Fully booked now until mid February.

We offer a comfortable room and good food in exchange for the congenial company of reliable, cheerful dog-lovers who are willing to undertake a range of tasks such as gardening, cleaning etc

Our 2 daughters after time spent travelling (and Helpxing) are now at university (one of them recently returned from a year studying in Japan) so our household usually consists of two people and a large dog (friendly, bouncy and always pleased to meet new people) I often have other dogs to stay too, so you need to be relaxed and happy around dogs.

We also have a pet rabbit.

We are situated in the countryside mid way between Cambridge and Newmarket, five minutes walk from the bus stop. The beautiful city of Cambridge is eight miles away and from there it is only an hour by train to London (50 minutes on a fast train)

We offer a room with large double bed/twin beds (can be made up either way depending on preference) and en su... more inside

This is a quirky home set in a 19th century church in the mountain village of Capel Curig in Snowdonia National Park. The property is divided into two homes and the main house is let out to self catering groups.

Travellers can enjoy fantastic hiking, climbing and mountain biking in the surrounding countryside and when at home they can chill in a lovely space and occasionally go in the hot tub or play table tennis or pool beneath a fabulous 19th century mosaic ceiling? The church is right in the middle of the Snowdonia's mountains so is a great place to stay in exchange for help!

I am looking for someone to help out approx 30 hours per week; the main jobs will be cleaning rooms, ironing, washing, cooking, dog walking etc.. but my partner is a photographer and occasionally needs an assistant on a job. Occasionally we have noisy groups in and this can be annoying as it might mean very loud music all night. Although this is rare.

Obviously its also a family home, with all th... more inside

We live on a beautiful farm near Ullapool in the Highlands of Scotland surrounded by hills by a sea loch and with a lively village seven miles away. Accommodation is usually a mobile home with a shower and heating, adjacent to the farmhouse but warmer arrangements are made in the winter. We farm cows,and help is needed with feeding them, fencing, basic joinery and general farm work as well as drivng, and sometimes helping with the NHS hindcull, which is an amazing experience. Helpxes generally enjoy themselves and we have enjoyed having them. The highland experience is very unique, the people interesting and friendly.There will be an experienced supervisor and the next door farms have volunteers too who will socialise with those helping here in the local village which has live music. We find helpxes over 25 as they can drive on our insurance most suitable and those who like the outdoor life and are strong fit, responsible and eager to learn new skills enjoy themselves the most. I am a retired lady looking for between one and two people to stay in the cottage adjacent to my house. The property is a detached farmhouse located in an idyllic valley within Snowdonia National Park. Visitors would have use of their own bathroom, kitchen, living room and two separate bedrooms. Guests would also have occasional access to a car which they could use for shopping and exploring the local area. The car would not be available to use for long journeys or overnight trips away.
I am looking for help in maintaining the sizeable garden that surrounds the property and walking my pet dog Owain. It is essential that prospective guests are animal lovers who would enjoy the company of a friendly and affectionate dog.

I am interested in accommodating guests who are easy-going, flexible, and would embrace an opportunity to discover the culture and landscape of this most beautiful corner of Wales. I enjoy the peace and tranquillity of where I live and would enjoy sharing that wit... more inside

Every year, men and women from all over, join in the commotion and comradery of what we call Ecstatic Building;
Our unique drive to create sacred architecture which anyone can do.

Ecstatic because of the exhilaration collectively felt when we are fully engaged in the “common work of the tribe” and fully giving rein to our innate, unbridled, natural creativity.

Our instinct is to create, and make in beauty. And making home, or housing for the holy, is natural and refreshingly fulfilling. To be able to build houses, temples, born of this natural unrestricted intelligence in the old way, is a freedom rarely experienced these days.

Here is your invite to join the Spirit Horse Tribe for the month of May, in sacred architecture. Banging nails, candle lit dinners, happy banter and companionship in a spectacular welsh valley, adorned with waterfalls; radiant with the exuberance of May, in the creation of earthy, wild architecture and a new culture.
