In a little farm of Normandy, the work is mainly to keep the property in a good state to welcome. The team currently comprises Carl, Belinda, Thibaut, Jazz (cocker spaniel and team mascot), Otta (choc lab), Choupette (ravenous rooting permaculture pig), 2 farm cats on rodent patrol and 3 laying hens.

Thanks to willing volunteers, friends and family Coetillec now comprises: 5 C17th renovated stone self-catering holiday cottages; various stone barns; a wooden barn made entirely from recycled timber and slate; heated swimming pool; fully-commissioned mobile-home; plus 30 acres of woodland, lawns, meadow and a stream - all set in beautiful rolling countryside just 25 miles from the stunning southern Brittany coastline.

• Convert a ruined granite barn and adjoining stable into a cottage
• Bring veteran pollarded Oak trees back into active management.

We are looking for help starting early January for a couple of weeks or so. We need help looking after our dogs and some general sorting out of the garden and house as the B&B is closed for a couple of months. I also have to go back to the UK for a few days so you will be looking after the house and Jean Pierre !

The region Bretagne and the sea coast are beautiful. There are many incredible places to visit nearby such as the Paimpol Port, the Island of Brehat and the Beauport Abby, just to name a few. The sea is 10mn walk, and great for swimmers and photographers.
I have bicycles if you don't have a car and there are buses and a train station in Paimpol. My car may be available at times.

We are a permaculture family of 4, including our two children of 10 and 9. We live in a tiny hamlet 800m altitude in the French Pyrenees where we have an organic small holding.

We are looking for an energetic helper for November and December to come help us renovate our downstairs and build a Rocket Mass Heater. We will be ripping out floors and walls and installing our new self-build heating system.

Also have firewood to do as a matter of urgency.

Come stay for a minimum of 2 weeks to experience some life on the farm, eat amazing food and experience mountain life.

We have always welcomed, hosted and helped people in need. Whether it would be for travelling, touring or seeking shelter for homeless people, we try to be there when possible.
This time, we though we might continue and ask for a little help.

Since July 2018, we have been living on the road and travelling in our 8m² horse drawn caravan. We also have a second wagon for hosting holdiayers or helpers.

Zorba, the great percheron horse is our first family member. Abeille (Bee) is our second pulling horse.
We have two young dogs Nasba ans Oscar.

We are looking for people to help signal the convoy at crossing, open the gates, help unloading the horses, care for the horses, feed them, groom them at the high season only.

If you wish to, we are setting up a small circus show, a child story telling, we welcome schools and elderly people along the way, we organize sharing circle (group talks around various subjects such as permaculture, alternative ways of producing energy, eatin... more inside

My school is organizing an international week from 11th to 15th February. The theme is Commonwealth countries.We then would love to host people from these countries. Your job would consist in talking to different classes about your country : culture, customs, landscape etc...The pupils are aged 15-21. You will stay at my home, have your own room, have lunch at school and dinner and breakfast at my home.
