Hi there future friend!
We´re a couple of easy going – full time working couple in our early 30s.
We´ve been renovating our 3 bedroom house for quite some months now (it´s looking good thanks for asking) and at this point mainly need some specific experienced help for the following:
-landscaping
-building furniture
-design work if you´re architect/ interior designer
-electrician
-builder in general for bits and pieces like erecting fencing, building pergola in the garden, that sort of thing. We´d love a brick barbecue :).

We´re originally from Argentina but have been living here for almost 5 years so have good insights about the kiwi culture.... more inside

This farm in a coastal region in the Far North, Kaitaia over looking 90 Mile beach, Te Hiku and Ahipara. The farm boarders Herekino Native State Forest with bush walks, streams and waterfalls. It is hilly. We have seven horses and a mix of farm animals. We are minutes from town and beach.
We look forward to hosting you in return for your skills in clearing scrub. We both work full time as nurses during the week so your independence and initiative is important when we are not there.

We are great cooks and enjoy Kai from the sea, and leisurely summer meals outside overlooking the spectacular views on or property.

Horses are a passion and we love riding over farm, forest and beach.

Happy to host up to 2 weeks at a time.

We live an intentional community of about 40 people, on a beautiful peninsula in the Kaipara harbour. We have two sons who are sometimes home, Kane 28 and Anton 30. We have built an unusual house with a three story tower using blocks made of 50% sawdust. We like organic design so have incorporated mosaics, ceramic pillars and lots of curves. We are also working on a community sculptural project Eutopia cafe(check it out on facebook). We have a yacht and occasionally spend time working on it or sailing. There are some kayaks available for helpers. We have an assortment of animals including 4 horses, 3 cats a dog and some cattle. We offer private accommodation and can cater for vegetarians or meat eaters. We ask 4 hours willing help a day in exchange for food and accommodation. Tasks are varied. We hope 'helpers'are happy to join in and involve themselves in our life. We are easy going and enjoy live around here. We have a home theatre and enjoy music. Juleigh is originally from the UK and Pete is Kiwi. Our farm is just outside the village of Maungaturoto (7 mins by car) about 2 hours north of Auckland. The village has a couple of nice cafes. Beautiful swimming and surf beaches are about 30 minutes drive away. We have had the farm for just over 2 years and put in a great deal of hard work to change it from a scruffy uncared for piece of land to something we are increasingly proud of! There are gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside from many parts of the farm. There are some acres of protected native bush. We live “off the grid” which means we get our water from the sky and our power from the sun, so we conserve both as much as possible( so don’t expect to use hairdryers or other high use electrical items).
We farm a small herd of beef cattle, we have lots of fruit trees and we are now seeing what vegetables grow well here. In the summer months if we have enough produce we will sell it at farmers markets nearby. Apart from... more inside

Welcome to our Farm and Camping Ground. Meet all the lovely guests coming to this beautiful place located on the Ninety Mile Beach. We have a wilderness camping ground, a very small backpackers and small farm. We are about one hour drive south of Cape Reinga. The Ninety Mile Beach is in front of our farm and ideal for long walks, fishing and for collecting shellfish. Our location is a very good base to explore close surrounding beaches like Rarawa Beach famous for surfing and Henderson Bay and Pukenui for swimming. We like to offer you a helpers position in the Far North with lots of nature around us. A wilderness farm with horses, cows, chickens and dogs. Work with us for 3 or more days and then have one day off to explore the surrounding. Take a day trip to Cape Reinga and to Te Paki Sand Dunes, to Spirits Bay or to Rarawa Beach. View the sunset over the 90 Mile Beach from our helpx kitchen. Gather seafood and prepare it as delicious fritter (guided).

My home is a lifestyle property on a cliff above the Pacific Ocean in the Bay of Islands near Russell. It is covered mostly in forest and is home to many native flora and fauna including breeding kiwis.
I have a caravan where you can stay in and it also has wifi.
The house is nearby which you can use too.

This is a busy time of year for me so im just after someone to do some garden work and other things around home including cooking. Probably max three hours per day and i will provide the food too. I have bikes and helmets here that can be used and i can pick you up from Russell if you havent got transport. Its about 6.5 kilometres to town.
Unfortunately the little dog isnt staying here at present

This is a lodge based 20 mins north of Whangarei, 2.5hrs north of Auckland.
We are looking for energetic people who have good initiative skills, are self motivated & have a happy nature. You will need a good understanding of the English language to help us maintain the lodge & grounds where required. At the moment we are looking for a person who is good at gardening such as weeding & pruning, mowing lawns and general gardening. Ideally you would also be a great help around the house doing some easy building and painting etc.
For 5 hrs work with Sundays off, you will receive accommodation, food, internet access and more. We are close to Whangarei, Sandy Bay and the Tutukaka Coast. These are great places to explore in your free time.
