Hi I have a house in Cromwell that needs water blasting and painting on its exterior. Located in Cromwell, a beautiful part of the country, within close commute of both Queenstown and Wanaka, I propose that you get the job done and stay for a few weeks so you can see the beautiful central district at the same time. Currently my son and his wife live in the house, so they will accommodate and feed you. It is a perfect time of year to visit as spring is in full swing. Look forward to hearing from you.

We are looking for someone to give us a practical hand with spring plantings. We live 15 mins out of Wanaka, on the banks of the Hawea River in a solar powered octagonal house. We run a small farm where sustainability is our main focus and we have an electric car.
We have belonged to work exchange programmes for 20years and love meeting new people from around the world. Most of the help we require is practical work on our land and garden It is helpful to like outdoor work and animals, especially dogs.
Helpers often choose to work for 8hrs and then take the next day off to take advantage of the amazing number of things to do in this stunning environment although we are flexible with this arrangement to work around the weather etc. We expect good energy and commitment from you, and you can expect good food and tranquil environment. Ideal for one or two people. Internet access is available and own transport is handy to have but not essential. Do let us know any special diets.

We need help with our new garden and small vineyard. We are flexible. Sometimes we also need help to catch up with house chores, and 2 little dachshunds to look after
You have to have your own car as we are at Gibbston, 20 km out of Queenstown on SH6 between Queenstown and Cromwell. Happy and safe travels!

Hello! We are a family looking for some help with our landscaping and childcare. We live in a central suburb in lovely Queenstown and need someone with some landscaping skills and muscles, to come and help us with some soft landscaping. We also need help with cooking meals and hanging with our kids or light household duties. We have no gender bias, so female landscapers and male cooks/childcare experts are welcome!! In exchange for 4 hours of work a day, we can provide breakfast and dinner, plus accommodation in a large, sunny bedroom, plus wifi. We are experienced travellers, so we're keen to meet others now that our travelling has slowed down!
Ideally you'd stay between 3 days and one week to help us out. This is easy work with the hardest part being some digging, so please make contact if you're interested. The photos give a sense of the house and accommodation but not the work (which is easy to complete work).

Dutch/English couple who enjoy sharing their lifestyle property with positive and interesting people from all over the world. We have a spa pool, BBQ area, Sauna, True HD 3D Cinema with professional grade sound and picture, and bike trails to go explore the area and enjoy well deserved rest after a good day of work.

We are looking for people who are willing to help us in the gardens and with some general maintenance around the house. this could include painting and other mostly pretty fun / random jobs around the place. Previously we had helpers sort out our libry and build a man high cactus.

Quirky 100year old hillside villa overlooking city center of Oamaru (10 min walk to downtown) plus a wee view of the sea. The good 1000squ metre hill side currently still covered in organic masses waiting to be transformed into massively organic garden - turning permaculture one day, I am sure of it (!!) ..

Oamaru, the world HQ of Steampunk is celebrating the annual Steampunk Festival around beginning of June as well -

If you are into landscaping you can leave your mark for good in form of a new entry way. If you are into building there is a bathtub to be carved into the bathroom. Any help with general maintainance and repair jobs is very welcome. Any practical skill including computer maintenance on top of the above will be greatfully received with due appreciation.

I am currently clearing out my house for some tenants. Some maintenance work still needs to be completed as well as the entry way, cleaning, packing, selling stuff. Helpers arriving between now and Aug... more inside

We are a farming couple with a 2 year old boy called Fred. We live on our family sheep and beef farm with our chickens, pigs, dogs, horses and cat.

We live in a beautiful part of the world. There is plenty to see and do with the Otago Central Rail Trail on our back door with lots of walking and fishing to also be done. We are 1.5 hours to Dunedin and 2.5 hours to Queenstown/Wanaka.
Due to our location you will need your own vehicle.

Accommodation is in our house with your own bedroom so you will need to fit in with our family and culture.

We are looking for people to help with jobs around the garden an house as well as some child care if interested. There will be time for you to be on the farm to see what they do - but can not guarantee you will have jobs to do on it.
We would expect you to work 4-5 hours/day in return for accommodation and board.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Mark, Vicki and Fred
