UPDATE...ALL CHANGE!
We are currently living in beautiful County Wicklow, where I came to find paid work...and, happily, succeeded.
Still finding our feet, we're not doing any farming at the moment, so we are not taking helpers.
I'm hoping to change that situation soon, and once I do, we'll be back in business :)

I ONLY speak English, I don't have any other languages, sorry! This means that I can only be a good host for people who speak reasonably good English.
I would prefer to take people for short stays only, please... 1 to 3 weeks. I think it is better to get to know each other before making plans for long stays :)

We need someone to help us from late June until late August.

We are a couple running a small hotel on a beautiful island off the west coast of Ireland. We need someone to help us out during school holidays in July and August to do a few hours child minding for our 11 year old daughter who has extra needs. You may also do some work in the hotel garden. You will get your own room in a staff house where you can cook your own meals if you wish on your days off. Meals will be provided from the hotel when you are working.
You must enjoy and have experience of working with young children. We are looking for someone with a sense of fun who likes nature and the outdoors and who is also happy to play with our daughter. Experience of working with children with Down syndrome would be helpful, but most important is kindness, patience and an active imagination!

We are a family of 4 adults and we have horses, some dogs, cats and chickens. We live near the sea and close to N. Ireland. We would welcome one/two/couple to stay for a while. We need some help with our house and garden - to clear out some sheds which contain left over furniture and 'stuff' (Games, China, small furniture, riding equipment) that needs to be sorted out - given away to charity shop or what ever. You should be interested in walking, cycling, gym, going to beach/mountains - perhaps like cooking and a bit of house painting - father is an author and has done a tefl course in teaching English and plays the guitar.. we live on a farm 3 miles from the town. Our cousins have had helpx people and were very happy. Horse riding is an option if you are interested. look forward to hearing from you ALL ENQUIRIES WELCOME AND ANSWERED..You can text if you have more questions..

A welcoming country cottage and garden on the beautiful Dingle Penninsula. I have always had an open door policy and this is an opportunity to welcome people from all over the world come stay short term in this little magical village in exchange for that I'd like help with jobs around the house and garden. I speak French, German, some Spanish, love food and play Irish traditional music and am always interested in learning about new cultures!

The house is surrounded by greenery, neighbours with chickens, dogs, horses and organic gardens! The nearest village with shops, hotels and bars is a 25 minute walk, there are 3 stunning beaches only 15 minute walk and a local craft brewery and beautiful bar with weekly live music is only a 10 minutes away.
