I'm Tania and i'm living in a small farm situated in a valley 5 minutes from Tomar.
I need help with general farm and gardening work, as for the last 2 years I have been so busy raising a little baby on my own, that the farm became slightly neglected.
Now I really want to get back on track and I am looking for energetic and inspired people that can help me not only with physical work, but also giving ideas and suggestions on how I could improve the land and make it as self sustainable as possible.

I can offer a room, shared toilet and kitchen (in my house), 3 vegetarian meals a day, trips to the lake with the kids when its hot, portuguese or italian lessons, yoga daily practice, occasional riding lesson in a farm nearby and visit the beautifull city of Tomar.

In exchange I ask for minimum 4hours work per day, 6 days a week.
Work can include general gardening/farming work, building and repairing (i started making a greenhouse out of reclaimed windows but it needs some t... more inside

We are a young festivally-outdoorsy-fun-having type couple. :) lots of loves for sewing, art, glitter, cooking, walking, nature, yoga. We love learning! We like to go to markets& socialise with people there as well as having people over at ours / going to parties but we also like to have our own space & quiet.

Our quinta is a beautiful 8 hectare site right alongside the Mondego in the bottom of a valley. Being right on the river means we can swim to cool off in the heat! You can also do fishing & cray fishing. We're right on the edge of the serra da estrelas so the area is really beautiful. There is also an excellent community of english speaking people here too so It's a good combination here of nature-seclusion & socialising/events.

We've got looaaads going on right now & are looking for as many hands on deck as possible!

looking for help with/opportunities to learn;

This is not a job, this is a life experience.
We are looking for people who would like to live in a farm and help rebuilding it while learning how to work online and helping others on their personal projects.

We live as a community . We help each-other and we share the costs of living.
There is no rent but we split the bills and grocery shopping among everyone living in the farm.

You have to help with basic things around the house such as gardening and some construction and being part of the projects we may have going on.

I'am managing a tree nursery and wanted to convert it into a permaculture farm. The farm is located in the middle of the nature, where the stars glow and frogs and birds talk to you.

The farm has been neglected over the past years and help is needed maintaining and improving it, in a relaxed way, preferably artistically, so creativity is welcome.

There are 2 wells, a big tank, Solar electricity phone network works perfectly, There are also 2 cats and a puppy that will need some love.

The work varies a lot from fruit picking and jamming, clearing land, re-potting, seeding, planting a veg garden and other gardening work.

On sundays there is the village market where I sell some stuff, so you can come along and try to sell your own stuff.

There's also maintenance work with the infra-structures and some eco-building ideas/plans.

There are a few spaces available, depending on what is being used at the time. There is a campervan, camping allowed and a communal space indo... more inside

My husband and I live in the middle of the Atlantic, on the beautiful island of São Miguel, with our cats, dogs, chickens and roosters. We have a small home overlooking the ocean and surrounded by pastures with one of the best beaches of the island only a 3 minute walk away. I'm a holistic health coach and my husband is a dairy farmer. Our dairy farm is about 15 minutes away (by car). We work on a rotational pasture grazing system and our cows are primarily grass-fed and quite happy. Our goal is to become an organic farm providing artisanal raw dairy products and grass-fed beef to consumers. We love to spend our days outdoors, whether it be on the farm, in the ocean, soaking in the hot springs, practicing yoga at the beach, crocheting on a bench or exploring some new trails.

With most of my husband's time being dedicated to the farm and my time to building my holistic health business, our household needs get left behind. We'd like to host people with specific skills/abilities, a... more inside
