We're a busy family who live in a secure estate in Melbourne. We are looking for a responsible mom's helper - DEMI PAIR - to help out less than 20 hours a week with light housework and occasional school pick up and drop off at after school activities in exchange for accomodation and meals.

We have a 6 year old and a 7 month old baby. We basically just need an extra pair of hands around the house. This position will ideally suit someone who would like to study and experience Australian culture. You'll have plenty of free time to pursue extra work or study.

We are looking for someone responsible, friendly, a non smoker, and someone who enjoy hanging out with kids occasionally. We require a minimum stay of 6 weeks. Unfortunately we can only host one person and don’t have room for a couple.

You'll have free access to the pool, gym, sauna and tennis courts in the golf estate. We're a short drive or train distance to the city and cycle distance to the beach.

*Not currently taking helpers but you are welcome to contact us if you are planning to be in Melbourne in 2019

We are a friendly and active family with 3 children (aged 10, 9 and 3), 1 dog, guinea pigs and chickens. We live on a large, mostly native block that backs onto the Yarra River where you can swim and kayak. We have a big vegetable garden and our home is solar powered.

We are often looking for helpers who like gardening, including mulching, weeding and planting. We also have some painting and cleaning jobs and if you like children and dogs there are opportunities for baby sitting and long walks in the bush.

We welcome all nationalities (Meg speaks Spanish) and can cater for vegetarians or other dietary requirements. No smokers please.

We expect 4-5 hours work each day but you can choose your own hours. In return we will provide all meals with our family and accommodation. If you want to provide your own food then 3 hours is ok. We have a room for guests with an ... more inside

Small family block in Healesville on the Graceburn (creek). We have a small orchard, chickens and vegetable garden. We are working towards growing enough produce to sell at a local organic market.

Work at our place might include, native revegetation of creek, pruning and orchard maintenance, market gardening tasks, house painting, carpentry, tiling, irrigation, pizza oven building, child minding, house chores... Open to negotiate but we’d be happy for 4-6 hours work per day in exchange for board and meals.

We have two children, two dogs and ten chickens.

We have bicycles for use and unlimited wifi.

We are ten minutes from the main st on foot, food and wine lovers and bakers of sourdough. We can show you the local bird life, bushwalking spots and the local animal sanctuary.

We are not certified organic but try our hardest to work organically in practice.

Looking for helpers from January 2019.

About us: Our little family of 3 is growing in the new year so we are looking for some household help. Our family consists of myself (Brenna) and my husband James, both in our early 30s, and our 4 and a half year old son Joel. We also have a new baby due in February. We are a very friendly and environmentally conscious family living in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, around an hour from Melbourne CBD. The Dandenong Ranges are a tourist destination in themselves and we live walking distance from many local attractions (or a short drive/ bus ride.) We love sharing our home and hills with guests and learning about cultures from all over the world, traveling is now beyond our means but we love to travel through your stories of the word! Before having our son we spent 10 months backpacking through South America, some of our greatest experiences were our helpx days!

Help needed: Being heavily pregnant and soon to have a new bub, we are looking ... more inside

NEWBY at this

Come and have fun helping in the garden! - Digging, weeding, transplanting, soil toiling, mulching painting. Our home is a quaint old fashioned cottage and garden.Helpers need basic fitness and a readiness to learn and to be involved are essential.

Our names our Cath, Jack & Pat.. At the moment we are a little busy with work, renovating and running my small business. My husband Brendan has been very ill and this has impacted on our lives, so we haven’t had the time to do the things we’d like to do around our home and we are in need of some extra help and my friend suggested we do helpx for some assistance and we can show you the Aussie life.

Our home is in walking distance to the village where there are local buses and cafes. We are 1 hour DRIVING from CBD and we live close to national parks and famous tourist attractions. Accomadation is a shared bathroom. Maybe a bedroom or self contained caravan.

We also like you to participate in normal family household... more inside
