I have a beautiful home on the ridge in Elanora on the Gold Coast, South East Queensland, Australia. It is in a Koala sanctuary, surrounded by bush and wildlife. Often you will see wallabies grazing in the back yard, and if you are patient, also koala’s in the trees. You definitely will hear the latter even if you do not see them!
There are plenty of bush walks around my house for you to explore the native wildlife.

In my opinion (and many helpers that I have hosted) my offer is a great opportunity to live in a very special part of the Gold Coast. The property is set in bushland but is only five (5) minutes drive to Currumbin Beach and close to other beaches and Shopping Centres. The Pines Shopping Centre is the closest to my home and provides all that you would need. I have found most helpex people are not into large shopping centres and prefer beaches and wilderness which my property has in spades.
I would prefer a couple as I have found that better for me and you can ... more inside

Hi!
We are a small family living near the beautiful beaches from Agnes Water. We have 2 little boys (4 months and 2 year). We love growing our own food, going to the beach, playing music and spending time with friends.
We are looking for a couple or 2 good friends who can help us in the garden and with the kids/household. We're in the process of building new garden beds and a garage.
Are you a fit and healthy person, do you like to be outside and don't mind some physical work, you love kids, chickens and the beach then our home sounds perfect for you.
We offer you free accommodation and food and in return you help us out for 4 hours a day.
You'll have plenty of time to relax at the beach, surf, snorkel, walk and explore the area.
Having your own car or a license is a bonus (but not essential). We do live a 20 min drive from the shops and beach. We do drive most days to town so you always can catch a ride if you don't own a vehicle.
Please ask us your questions and we hop... more inside

CURRENTLY AWAY TRAVELLING UNTIL 2019

I am a young woman living in an old cottage on Castle Hill right by the sea with my partner Eike (who is from Germany) and our lovely friend Kyana (Eike is currently doing a phd in Medical Genetics and Kyana is about to start her phd). Our home is a beautiful 100 year old cottage known in the neighbourhood as 'The Rainforest House'. It's home to many birds, butterflies, kangaroos and a resident Turkey (who we love but he is rather fond of destroying my vege patch so the relationship with him is a little rocky at the moment).

I am an avid gardener and am currently working on turning our front yard into a little food garden. I work with Autistic children at a little sustainable school nearby & travel on the school holidays.

The Ferry to Magnetic Island is right down the road and I spend each weekend there as my parents are currently building their own house there. I love to have travellers/friends come and stay and take them camping at the... more inside

Looking for help now in June 2018.

We are a young family with three children 11, 9 and 6. We live in the beautiful suburb of Brookfield right on the edge of a national park with riding trails and walks surrounding us. We have ten acres with a pool, dam, campfire and viewing deck for you to enjoy. Two horses, two cows, a dog and a cat not to mention all the other native wildlife are also there for your enjoyment.

We welcome young traveller's looking to stop and stay for a week or two and help around the house and property. You have your own separate accommodation external to the main house however kitchen and toilets are a part of the main house. Having your own transport is an advantage as we are a few kilometers to the local shop however not a necessity. Generally we are happy to help with transport.

Non Smokers only please.
