Happy travels...we are hoping someone(s)can come and help us weed our garden beds, clear away cuttings and generally tidy up the garden! Nothing difficult, just a lot of it!

We live on two thirds of an acre in a beautiful, light and spacious home. It's me, Didi, I'm 63, and Arielle, 35, my daughter (we get on like best friends)and three delightful, well behaved, large dogs,Simba and Blossom, and their mum,Maya, so anyone comfortable with dogs is most welcome. The property is full of beautiful flowers and we have a pool if it's hot.

We're into a natural, healthy lifestyle, yoga and meditation.

The mountain is 575m above sea level so is about 5 degrees cooler than the coast. We have rainforest walks nearbye, great monthly markets and beautiful views around the mountain.

Help is always appreciated around the home -cleaning floors, windows etc, food prep is also welcome. We usually ask you to do 24 hours per week and we're flexible how you organise it.

Whoever comes will ... more inside

Hi,
I live on a really beautiful 10 acre rural property that i am slowly turning into a sustainable organic hobby farm homestead with a focus around health and well being.

It is about 40mins drive South of Cairns, there are a few transport options that i can discuss with you if you are interested.

Sometimes you will stay with just me and my 2 dogs and other times we will have several others too.

I need some help cleaning around the shed and the landscaping around the property.

We will be living off grid in a big shed, so plenty of things to do if its raining and at night like table tennis and pinball machine, its like really comfortable camping.

I have some spine and neck issue's and feel i should do yoga much more frequently, so if you do yoga or other stretching exercises , it will motivate me to do some as well.

If you can help with cooking or just make a really amazing salad, you might jump the queue, haha.

Someone that can help me manage these duties and ... more inside

Looking for someone to live on an island, look after sick turtles, feed wallabies and enjoy some central QLD island lifestyle!

Situated 5km from Gladstone, on the Central Queensland coast, Quoin is a wonderful island full of character and wildlife, we often see Dolphins,Turtles, the occasional Shark along with an array of birds.

Your role as a volunteer would be to fulfill animal care duties along with other small tasks. We house one of Queensland’s most prominent Turtle Rehabilitation Centres in which we care for sick and injured Sea Turtles. We currently have 10 gorgeous Turtles in the facility, all with huge personalities! Along with the turtles the island has a very friendly mob of Pretty Faced Wallabies and various nocturnal animals which you will also get to spend time with and care for!

Each day on Quoin is different and whilst our work is mainly caring for the Turtles we have other tasks to complete, this will include:

-Feeding/Caring for Turtles
-Cleaning Turt... more inside

Hi there - we have 5 beautiful acres on Mt Mee with an assortment of animals, including 2 dogs, 9 sheep, a goat, chickens, geese and ducks. The land is reasonably low maintenance, plenty of lush lawn (we have a ride-on mower, tractor and a golf cart) native trees, huge dam that has a pier setup. We have a decent size aquaponic setup that is easy peasy to monitor and feeds us plenty. We have a beautiful quiet property and are located 15 minutes from the closest town Dayboro, and an hour to the city and airport. We`re trying to set ourselves up to be self sustainable and use some permaculture principals. Our animals are our friends and not being raised for consumption - we are vegan though we do have happy healthy free range hens and are happy to eat their offerings :-). We have internet connection, no landline, no town water and no rubbish pickup. We use our own harvested rainwater for house use and dam water for the garden and animal ponds/drinking water. We have a few restauran... more inside
