My husband and I live on 6 acres of treed paddocks. The paddocks are set up in the "paradise paddocks" style for our daughter's 2 horses. we have 2 Weimaraners - large gun dogs - who are spoilt and live in the house with us. Our house has a bedroom at the back of the house where our Helpx helpers stay. It has its own entry and bathroom, although it is accessible to the rest of the house also. Because of the trees we have a lot of bird life around us.

We are about 2km from the nearest bus stop. The bus route goes through the suburbs to the train station. the train goes to Perth where it links with other lines to Midland, Fremantle Mandurah and Burns Beach. There is also a train which can be caught at Armadale that goes to Bunbury.

We are looking to host someone who is able to help with maintenance around the house for example carpentry, painting, paving, gardening.

We live on a large cropping farm about 2 1/2 hours north of Perth. We have sheep and chickens, dogs & horses and a large vegetable patch and gardens. Our place is guaranteed to be busy - but welcoming.

At the moment we are in need of some help with basic house and yard jobs, some simple repairs and work in the vegetable garden. We prefer that you have some experience with basic tools and repairs and are able to work independently.

It is peaceful and pretty here in spring, but be aware that our internet connection will be worse than you are probably expecting and you won't be able to tap into our wifi connection, so be prepared to be offline for some of your stay.

If you don't have your own transport, our farm is close to bus routes-nearby towns are Moora or Watheroo. We are a long way from the city and from urban comforts, but we'd hope that your experience here will be memorable.

For Helpx ers, we have separate accommodation available close to our house which has... more inside

Would like helpers October 2018.
Also June to Oct 2019.
We are on 5 acres and run an accommodation business, Lacabane Retreat.

We have established this place all ourselves, taking over 20 years to get to this point. We aim to be totally sustainable and ending up off grid with our own water and growing our own food.

People come here to have a holiday and not leave a carbon footprint. We want to help others learn about what we are trying to do.

We would like some help in the off season to do some maintenance on the property. We provide excellent accommodation in a 2 bedroom self contained house.

Food provided, bikes are available, and we can pick up and drop you off at bus terminal or airport if necessary, but having your own transport would probably be best to connect with the amazing national parks in our area.

We have 2 dogs, so helpers must be dog friendly.Non smokers preferred.

We have a swimming pool as well as a tennis court, and some wonderful places t... more inside

Greetings:) We are currently taking singles & couples. We are a small family living on quiet 3 acres in Parkerville, in the Perth Hills, 20 minutes drive from Midland railway station. Own transport is best for you but the bus is a 10 minute walk away or 5 minutes - depending which bus you catch. This takes you to Midland train station, with access into Perth City. Sorry, we do not have time to take you sightseeing. You need to be prepared to catch the bus, or have your own vehicle.

We are self-employed, and a busy family. You need to provide food for your own breakfast and lunch and prepare for yourselves. You will have unrestricted access to use of the kitchen. We provide evening meals which are usually shared casually. We sometimes request you help with preparing what we are planning for dinner. We hope you always help with washing dishes after dinner, as well as wiping the benches and generally keeping the kitchen tidy. We are usually very tired by the end of the day. We are a Brazilian/Australian family of four, one child is ten and the other is four.

We enjoy cooking, the outdoors and time with family and friends.

Help around the house could include organic gardening, cleaning, home renovations and basic house maintenance. This would involve no more 20 hours help per week. In return we can offer accommodation as well as all meals.

We have canoes, bicycles, surfboards and fishing rods for your use so you can make the most of your Denmark adventure.

A short stay with with us and you might even learn some Portuguese.
