We are a family with three young boys (8, 6 and 4) based in beautiful Somerset. We live in a house which is currently undergoing renovation. We have chickens, a dog and cat. We hope to have someone who enjoys spending time with three fun boys and can help with jobs around the house which may vary from gardening to painting to basic housework to walking the dog! We have a large double bedroom for you to stay in. Henry is self-employed and Gemma also works. We need help after school with the boys and keeping the house tidy.

There is a bus from Wincanton (5 mins away) to London and lots of places to explore nearby for example Stourhead and Stonehenge (40 mins away by car).

Working on event days at the festival or weddings.

I live at the farm with my partner Beki and her son William (12)

We have two caravans for use for volunteers to stay in. We have shower and toilets blocks and outdoor kitchen.

This is an international college with students from around 10 countries, situated in north east England.
We are a residential college so students, staff and volunteers all live here on site.
Our courses run all year around and are for people who prepare to go as volunteers to development projects in Africa or India.
We are situated in a beautiful rural area, in the middle of 30 acres of park also inhabited by our local wildlife (rabbits, foxes, deer....). We have a big walled garden where we grow organic vegetables and hold chicken, ducks and geese.

You are welcome to join us as a volunteer helper for a period of 3 weeks up to 2 months - or maybe more.
You will then also enjoy the life and team spirit of our community! The daily life here is rich with different cultural activities.
This is a busy and active place and you can help with many different tasks in these areas:
- Our park and organic garden farm. Planting, clearing and weeding, harvesting, making new beds, ma... more inside

I have a large house in St Leonards on Sea, a seaside town, close to Hastings - 1066 country! I have been recently widowed, have a grown up family, and a brother with Special Needs, he is a great part of my life.
I am a vegetarian, a non smoker, kind and patient. I would like help around the house and garden, and any jobs that need doing.
I am a Nutritional Therapist I give good advice and run a Natural Health Clinic in Battle (and a PA, with web skills in Reception, would be great). I happily support other therapists to practice.
I have 2+ acres with a small wood in Battle – I grow organically, there is plenty of manure! The ability to tell a plant from a weed is very useful, lessons can be given!
There is always work to be done. A lot of DIY - and always ongoing maintenance, plenty of wood collecting etc for wood burners.
I am a good networker, I sing in a choir and have recently started Yoga, I like Country Dancing and Barn Dances, although I don’t go very often. I am k... more inside

February 2018 UPDATE: I am looking for someone to stay for 2 weeks, anytime from now to the end of April.

Small cottage on the South Downs, 8 miles north of Brighton.
Very beautiful rural location with lovely walks along the Downs.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a small residential home and NOT a farm or smallholding.

The cottage and garden need renovation. Help is required in the garden; some digging would be involved as well as plenty of weeding, cutting back, clearing of rubbish, mowing lawns and planting. Anyone interested? I also need someone who can paint and decorate the interior of the cottage; these skills would be very helpful. Those with building experience would also be most welcome.

4 FULL day’s work with 3 days off, in return for accommodation, evening meals, and possibly some sightseeing. Preferably 10 days to two weeks, however, I would consider longer stays for the right person (or couple). I am happy to help with English lessons if required. The ... more inside

Hello dog lovers.

We are keen to find a helper who would like to come in March and will consider people for April or May at the moment.

We would love to welcome you to our home in the small but busy market town of Frome in Somerset (has won awards as the best small town in the UK). http://www.discoverfrome.co.uk/frome/
We have been hosting for over two years and have enjoyed meeting new friends from all over the world.

The most important thing is that you need to be happy with dogs and taking them out for walks while we are at work. It is a great way to explore the town and surrounding countryside. Our 2 dogs love long walks and we are happy if they are happy!

Apart from dogwalking, we are happy for people to help us in the house or our garden or both (cleaning, cooking, gardening or decorating). If you have other specialist skills like carpentry, do let us know.

Our house in Frome is about 10 minutes from the centre and within walking distance of the cinema, the... more inside

Our farm is situated on the top of the National Trust's Brockhampton Estate with stunning views in all directions. It is a family run working farm home to James and Victoria Hawkins along with Fraser just back from Uni. We have a unique location with stunning views, traditional farm buildings, ancient woodland, tree-lined watercourses and orchards. Come and explore different parts of the farm and share our passion of farming and the countryside. Warren Farm is committed to sustainable agriculture and during the past ten years we have been introducing wildlife habitats across the farm. For example by restoring hedges and creating broader margins around all arable fields and currently developing several wetland habitats using the natural water courses on the farm.
The farming consists of arable beef and sheep along with many diversification projects.
Projects or help needed with.

Hedging, coppicing, planting new hedges

We are a small, family run organic fruit and vegetable farm in the heart of the Norfolk fenland. We believe that farmers should work with nature, not against it, to produce the freshest, most delicious local produce possible. For us this means never using nasty chemicals or artificialities, relying on nature’s own remedies and rhythms to grow healthy, full flavoured fruit and vegetables.

The 25 acre farm grows over 100 different lines of fruit and vegetables throughout the year.
Any one week we take at least 25 lines to Farmers markets. These range from Apples, Plums and Pears to Potatoes, Lettuce and spinach.
We have 2 acres of orchard and approx 3/4 acre of poly tunnels. The rest is outside cropping.
There is always somthing to do, planting, weeding, harvesting or preparing for the many farmers markets that we attend.

I'm Sheila and I'm looking for help to look after my dogs and to help to bring my allotment back into productive use. It would be from now until early April, but happy to welcome volunteers for shorter periods too.

I have 3 dogs, although one is a foster and is looking for a home. I walk them every day on the beach but they all need more attention than I can give them at the moment, due to work. If you have dog-training skills, that would be fabulous!

The allotment is very close to the house, and has several perennial plants, but it is a bit overgrown. I'd like to clear it and fill mostly with perennials, with some small spaces for annuals.

Accommodation is in one double bedroom. The house is a little chilly at times, but otherwise comfortable. A hand keeping the fire going is always welcome! There is internet available for volunteers and mobile signal in the house and village. The food is vegan. I'd prefer one person but could consider 2. I would prefer a non smoker.
