Looking for someone to come and help on our smallholding, we have lots of renovation work underway, but primarily want someone to help with our 4 horses and 4 dogs. No horse experience necessary as they are all very easy to do.

I have recently had an operation and unable to do any lifting/carrying so need an extra pair of hands while my partner is away. But also looking for someone longer term who can help with projects here.

Plenty of free time for sightseeing. We live on the edge of forestry with endless trails for walking/cycling/riding.

We are very rural not near public transport so own transport would be recommended.

Someone with easy going nature, just willing to muck in when needed and just relax when not!

Own newly renovated apartment, internet access available.

We have a very old house in a nice area not far (one hour) from Toulouse. The house needs general work starting late July until late September. We need one or two people with experience in interior painting, wall and floor work.
The house is in a beautiful medieval village called Puycelci. You can find it on the internet. This house is near the Tower. There is a lake nearby, and a lot of great medieval villages to visit too. There is also a very large beautiful forest nearby -great for walking and photography.
We offer your own room with food paid in exchange for 4.5 hours of work per day, 5 days a week. We prefer two people that can work well together but individuals are fine too. We ask for at least 2 weeks -please no children and no dogs -the house is not set up for them.
Also close by is the great wine region of Gaillac, the interesting city of Albi with the famous Toulouse Lautrec museum. You can easily arrive at Puycelci by auto or by train to Gaillac where we can ... more inside

We are an english couple who have been living in France for over twenty years, with our two sons aged 19 and 15. We run an organic vineyard producing red and (sometimes) rosé wines at the property. Most of the work we do is manual and we do need help from time to time, particularly at harvest time, which is usually mid to late September/early October.

We enjoy having people from different backgrounds and countries to stay with us here, adding new experiences for us and our children.

There is always stuff to do in the vegetable garden and around the house, and cooking etc. Guests are more than welcome to cook should they want to, as it makes a great (ex)change.
We also have a small flock of sheep which started as only 3 but is now eleven as we have found no acceptable means of limiting the numbers....

We can offer accommodation and meals to anybody who wants to come and help us, in exchange for 4 or 5 hours work a day, on average.

HELPEEEEEEERS!!!!!

DUE TO A LAST MINUTE DESISTMENT, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR HELP TILL AUGUST THE 8TH...

After 3 years of nomadic family life on the roads of the world and a dozen experiences as HelpX volunteers in several countries, we will welcome you with great pleasure, far from the hustle and bustle of modern life!

Back in our pretty farm dauphinoise nineteenth, we undertook to best grant our life with nature. First of all, we want to establish a self-sufficient and energetically autonomous micro-farm based on ideas, principles and experiments based on the observation of natural mechanisms. Our second goal is to move towards zero waste, to prioritize the upgrading and recycling of materials. Third step of our project: to create, support and encourage synergy in a solidarity and resilient community open to the world. Although we still have a lot to learn, we will be happy to share our experiences with you.

Arrived from trip in April 2018 we have since relaunched... more inside

Hi, my name is Julia and I have just moved from Australia to France. I have purchased a petit chateau on 15 acres with many outbuildings, a woodland, old walled gardens and a grotto that fills a seasonal lake.

My background is in interior design and art, so I want to create a beautiful artistic, creative space, where people can come, relax and create.

The property is a combination of the main house, needing renovation, a one bedroom cottage, a studio, a small barn to renovate into a 2 bedroom cottage and a huge barn ideal for creative workshops and functions.

Accommodation available will either be a room in the main house, or if a couple would like to come and help, the use of the one bedroom cottage. There is a swimming pool.

I would like 4 hours of work a day, 5 days per week.

A well stocked kitchen to help yourself to for breakfast and lunch and we all come together for dinner.

I will have several different projects that I need help with, such as plastering, ... more inside

We are Paul and Daniel and have recently moved into a delightful guest house/B and B and Gite located in one of France's most beautiful villages. Cordes sur Ciel is in the Tarn, a rural department in South West France with stunning landscapes of rolling hills and vineyards.

We are working hard in our first full season and are actively looking for helpers or a couple to assist us in the general running of our Bed and Breakfast/Chambre D'hote business. Our priority right now is to find people to joîn us from now through to mid September. A couple would be ideal.

We are also looking for qualified Iyengar Yoga Teachers to help us run yoga retreats this summer.

Duties would involve assisting with gardening, household cleaning, cooking and breakfast service

I guess 4/5 hours work a day would cover it and in return you would have your own large room with private terrace. Private half bathroom with shower/bath up stairs. We have strong and stable wifi and are minutes f... more inside

ENGLISH VERSION : (VERSION FRANÇAISE EN DESSOUS)

My name is Emmanuel, I am living in Mas Després, a raw food community where we do permaculture.
I am graduated in naturopathy. I have been helping on organic farms during my travels in Australia, Brazil, Asia ...

The land of our community is about 8 hectares where we are planting fruit trees and vegetables in the spirit of permaculture.
We have some figs trees, plums, apricots, peaches, persimmons, cherry trees, almonds, grapes..., some of them are still young some others just starts to give fruits.

I need help in the orchard, for taking care of the baby trees, planting new trees, and sometimes other works.
When I work in the orchard I like to take my time to feel a good connection between me and the nature in the garden. There are some beautiful insects, wild birds, gekos, wild edible plants.

I will be very happy to share my knowledge in permaculture and to receive your opinion and share our experience.

Hello. Thanks for looking at our listing. We are both in our early fifties and we have 2 cats and a tortoise living with us. We enjoy listening to music, (Derek plays guitar) watching films and sport, yoga, reading and socialising.
We are looking for people to help us both inside and outside the house. Inside work will be helping us with the renovation of the house and the outside work is quite varied, ranging from gardening tasks, including helping with our no dig veg garden, tree felling, and wood stacking. Our land covers approx 65 acres made up of mostly woodland with three small lakes and a few fields.
There are lots of projects on the go at any one time so we are always grateful for help.

We are in the process of renovating the white house in which we live. It is comfortable and has all the things you would expect in a modern home including heating and the Internet.
We have a double room and a single room available so we can accommodate 2 to 3 people at a time.
