The idea of the Project is to make a self-sufficient VILLAS/ FAMILY HOUSES

We have 1 hectare to make the entire project.
We already build 2 “houses” (all our building are made with natural materials)
STONE AND WOOD most of it) We are inspired in Maya architecture.

In one and one of the building we have a bis space where we plan to do workshop/ school of permaculture so we can teach all our eco-project that are currently working inside the project.

I Guess the main idea is to prove that you can live in a NICE ECO VILLA, that produce food and work a little as a farm (we don’t have any animals yet)
All in eco- responsible vision and living.
We are surround it by Maya jungle / the land we own is jungle.

Currently we don’t any crops, but we are going to start to located them and fruit trees.
We need help of volunteers who want to help building some culture beds.

I been working in the project for two years, so it's just starting,
Most of this last year I spend them b... more inside

Bienvenidos! 32 years of hard work and some very enjoyable times have gone into this beautiful seven acre, oceanside property with tropical landscape, organic gardens and orchards, a year-round stream and spring, jungle areas, the ruins of a 19th century coconut soap factory and a small eco-friendly hotel. It is located beside a small jackfruit-growing and fishing village near San Blas, Nayarit.
We strive to contribute to the local community with educational opportunities in the areas of art, nature and friendship and by serving delicious and highly nutritious meals plus being an example of living lightly and sustainably on this planet.
Volunteer helpers with integrity and a variety of skills are most welcomed. We are currently looking for temporary, part-time caretaker. There are four resident dogs, one regal cat, five buildings and extensive gardens that all require maintenance.

This is being operated under a new business partnership. The fields, etc, have not been worked in about 2 years. We are going to develop the property into a model of permaculture using Biodynamic French Intensive Beds based on the model Alan Chadwick pioneered at USC. You can read about this model here: http://www.alan-chadwick.org/html%20pages/techniques/garden_plants/.... Beds will be constructed to hold precious water in this arid land. Bed construction is in the very early stages at this point. The farmland IS organic, but has not been certified yet in either Mexico or the USDA. The farm has not had live in workers for a while, so carpentry, painting, construction, plumbing, and cleaning skills would be valued. The Bunk spaces for volunteers need to be remade and made functional. There is so much to do!! We sowed our first beds yesterday with cold weather crops. We will be sowing our monoculture field with soil and nitrogen building cover crops next week. We are in need of self ... more inside

Hi!
We welcome volunteers from all corners to help us with our project.

Our beautifully camp is situated in the Mayan jungle of Yucatan, 20 min from the famous ruins of Chichen Itza. We have running water from our cenote/well, solar energy system and jungle wifi to stay connected. Living in harmony with nature but not against technology.

We love healthy cooking, fermenting, baking and experimenting new recipes with our visiting friends.

There are many trails through the jungle, great for hiking, biking and birding. Enjoy our watch tower for amazing sun and moon views over the vast jungle, an organic garden, beekeeping and more!

We recently became parents and trying to keep things very relaxed. Our camp is now only receiving a very little amount of people, we advise you to reserve with as much time as possible in advance. Precooked volunteering plans are very attractive to us.

The idea is to keep it not as volunteer camp but more like fri... more inside
