We currently have a vacancy. A couple would be great, or a couple of friends who don't mind sharing a large queen bed! Singles also welcome.

There are two 1000 metre greenhouses which we used recently to grow calla lily flowers for export but no longer do these, and succulents (over 70 types) for garden shops, Trademe and the local farmer's market. You can see some of them here: https://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?member=1135847

We usually have a few cattle, and a timid little girl dog. In winter we have citrus fruit here which starts just when the fejoas are finished. Right now we have lots of mandarins. We also have an orchard with plums, peaches, apples, pears, nashi and others. All are eat as much as you want. None of the fruit trees have ever been sprayed because we have never got around to it. They also need a good prune so if you have any skills there it would be great.

Our property is divided by a semi-permanent creek which we've been told has good siz... more inside

We are a Christian couple that live on our property of 14 hectares (35 acres) along with our daughter and her husband and children that live here in separate accommodation. The property is a private, peaceful setting among farmland, rivers and trees and is a 25 minute walk to view an amazing waterfall. We live 20 minutes from Whangarei City which is a vibrant city of cafes, retail and art galleries with an amazing waterside location as well as some beautiful beaches and bush walks. Whangarei is just over 2 hours from Auckland and just over 1 hour from the beautiful Bay of Islands.

We are looking for someone (or a couple or 2 friends) who could help us with gardening, painting, cleaning and other maintenance jobs around our property. If you had building or painting skills that would be a real bonus.

We have a lovely double bedroom or two single rooms for you inside our home and we also have 2 lounges which means there is plenty of room to chill out in and enjoy your own privac... more inside

Kia ora
Warm greetings!

We have a small piece of Paradise at Waipu Cove Northland! We are currently developing this land. We are about to begin the annual tree plantings! There is landscaping to do, weeding, path building and lots more.

You will wake up looking at the ocean, a short bike ride or 3km drive to the beach. Currently we have a caravan available newly outfitted with solar power etc. We share the living box together with kitchen living room etc and a gorgeous fire. Waipu caves close by, beautiful bush walks. If you are hearty souls there are surf boards and kayaks to enjoy.

We come and go between Waipu and Auckland. Our friends are currently living on the property fulltime. We are a creative couple in our 50s. I am an arts educator and Dougy restores houses and is a muso. We love to travel, surf and hanging out on our piece of land. We are developing a permaculture garden and place where people can come to share the beautiful nature and ocean here. Love to hav... more inside

Still trying to get our 5ha downsized (from 300ha) block broken in. We could do with some help planting fruit trees, and putting up some shade for the water tanks & climbing frame for passionfruit.

We have one spare bedroom with en-suite - so it's one visitor, or a couple who are comfortable sharing a queen sized bed.
Love gourmet food, international cuisine, we're omnivorous, we host a boardgame group that meets fortnightly, Suze is into all kinds of fibre arts and crafts, Peter does 'fine' Woodwork. Going to cut it short here ...

Come and experience real farm life on a small scale! We've got lots of exciting projects going on at the moment. Including re-vegetation (planting native plants), fruit trees planting and building (weather and skills dependant).

** Looking for 1-2 helpers from 27th June till 3rd July and from 9th July onwards **

** Ideally helpers will be practically minded, mature (23+ yo), hard working and able to work without supervision at times. People with interest in sustainable living, permaculture and experience in building are best suited but it is not a must **

We have `finished` building our eco home (green building, passive solar, totally off-grid) mostly ourselves and with the help of great helpx travellers.

On our 26ha farm, we run about 80 sheep and 12 beef cattle with calves. This is a breeding farm, which means we produce baby animals for the sale rather than fatten them for slaughter. We have a small White Galloway stud with extremely pretty cows, and a very cute new... more inside

Looking for volunteers for our Northland community circus.

Volunteering with us is a fantastic way for anyone with an interest in arts and events to get involved with a flexible, rewarding, short-term commitment. Whether you're a supporter of the arts, a student, a creative, or you just think it sounds like fun, the volunteer program has a lot to offer.

We are a social circus skills that teaches circus skills to all ages and abilities, based in Dargaville on the west coast of Northland.

Volunteers maybe be needed to help out in classes, do maintenance around and inside building. (General gardening and cleaning).
We would love to have someone, couple, few people to help with our July school holiday programs

We can provide accommodation, but not meals. We are looking for people with or without circus skills. So for those people that have wondered what it would be like to run away and join the circus, our teachers are always happy to teach a few circus tricks.

We are a easy going couple in our thirties who have a 16 acre farm that we brought nearly five years ago. As we now have a 4 year old gorgeous wee girl, and my partner works long hours in his family business, we could really do with some help on the farm to continue building our dream.
A friend of ours also lives here with his partner in his tiny house on the property.
We also have a couple of caravans and some cabins onsite.
We are a few minutes from the Kaipara harbour, 20 mins from Mangawhai beach, and half an hour from the famous Waipu caves and beautiful coastal beaches.
We started on our property with only a caravan and a bare block. We now have built a shack around our caravan and have some other infrastructure in place like large chook coups, gardens, compost toilet and compost bins, dirt bike track, woodshed, yards and more.
We have currently built some new cabins for us to live in and our shack we used to live in is now a self contained helper quarters, with kitc... more inside
