Small lifestyle block with fantastic views 10 minutes drive from Tauranga city. I am looking for some general help around the property mainly with weed control, stacking firewood, tidying up the place a bit.

The weeds are honeysuckle and blackberry and the best technique is to pull them by hand. Blackberry do have thorns but with good gloves (supplied by me) and good technique (supplied by you) you can avoid most of the prickles. The work is not hard but would best suit someone stronger and physically fit.

We also have a young baby, just 1 year old, so it is really important to us that we do not get colds or flu in the house. If you have a cough or cold then you just can`t come, I hope you understand.

Our property is in the countryside so a car would be required. The place is great, warm and dry and with excellent views. We cook well and enjoy good conversation.

We are an easy going, friendly, Kiwi family living on a dairy farm at Rerewhakaaitu which is situated between Rotorua and Taupo. We are Dominic and Becky and our three children Stephanie(14), Charlotte(12) and Sophia(7). The farm is situated on the shore of Lake Rerewhakaaitu with views of Mount Tarawera. We are looking for someone who would like to be a part of our family for the next few weeks whilst the Mum/Wife recovers from knee surgery. The main role will be helping with general household chores such as cooking and cleaning and the laundry. We also have 4 ponies that we would like some assistance with their everyday care. There may also be some light farm work such as moving the dairy cows around the farm. Hope to hear from you soon so we can share with you a rural Kiwi family experience.

Looking for a single helper to help with mostly gardening and some small outdoor maintenance jobs.

We offer food and accommodation in return for 4 hours of help per person per day or accommodation only in return for 2 hours per day.

Hello... a bit about us and what we do on our own special little speck of earth here in Oropi...

(check our FB page for activity photos!)

Our home and horticulture are set on a 13.5 acre life-style block and we have an awesome farm-family who love being here and love our rural lifestyle and communal living.

We are about 20mins to Tauranga, 30mins to Mount Maunganui beach and also Rotorua. (I can pick people up from Tauranga city centre or Bethlehem).

We have a variety of jobs to do over the summer and a great opportunity to enjoy the Bay of Plenty sunshine and do some sightseeing!

We have had some fabulous helpers doing gardening, painting and other creative projects so if you are sociable, have initiative, are enthusiastic, capable and keen to learn, we can find something to suit you!

I have a cute dog, 2 lovely new goats, a flock of chickens and bantams and occasionally the 'neigh'bours horses doing some grass control.

We welcome you into our home where we h... more inside

Hello Travellers / helpers

We are looking for 1 - 3 helpers to assist with work on our 1 acre property. We are close driving distance to Tauranga city and to Mt Maunganui beach. If you have a car it is a 5 min drive to a shopping centre or 10 mins to bush walks and 12 mins drive to beautiful beaches. We ask for 4 hours of work required for each nights accomodation you stay then the day is yours to do as you please, exploring the area or relaxing around the property.

We have space available and are able to take helpers short term, for 4 days - 15 days. We have space to take helpers January 2019 - May 2019.
We sometimes work away from the property at our jobs and therefore are not always available at the house, we find that it works well to write jobs down and create a list of things to be done. We have hosted via woofing for over 10 years and never had a problem writing a list until two girls from Franch told us it was very rude. We have had some lovely people stay with ... more inside

We are able to offer all the facets of farming life through most seasons of the year, comfortable quiet accommodation in our two storey/five bedroom home and home cooked meals in exchange for four hours of your labour a day. We prefer to have helpers who are non smoking & are over 25years old. Because of where we are situated we are suited to those who have their own transport. We in return will showcase to you the best of Bay of Plenty!

Kia Ora!

Welcome to Aotearoa

We are a family of 4 living the dream on our lifestyle block in the Western Bay of plenty - Tauranga

We have a large house and 5 acres.

The house is a real doer upper! Shes quite unusual with different angles n levels. She needs willing and capable people to come in and help clean her up, and bring her back to her former glory!

We feel so fortunate to have found this property, its very pretty with mature spray free fruit & native trees, lots of bird life, and boasts amazing views of the ocean. At night you see the twinkling lights of Omokoroa- Mount Maunganui. The sky is so clear at night.

The Bay of Plenty really offers it all, being central in the North island, Only 2 hours between the West and East coast. 1 hour to the beautiful coromandel peninsula. 1 hour to thermal region Rotorua, 2 hours to Lake Taupo, 3.5 hours to the mountains for skiing

*** We are located 30 minutes from two amazing white sandy beaches ***
