We live on a beautiful 1.8 Ha lifestyle property with expansive views overlooking Tauranga Harbour.

We are a family of 5, although the 22 and 20 year old sons only visit occasionally from university, and the 17 year old daughter is at boarding school and only home in the weekends. We have 1 cat.

Sharon's sister Trish and her husband Robert live in a separate cottage on the property with their dog Meg. Robert is the main supervisor of our HelpX workers. He loves your company, and is always interested in stories of travel.

Work would consist of weeding (always, there is weeding!), planting, pruning, cleaning and/or cooking. Occasionally there is other handiwork needed around the place - eg painting.

If you want a more physical challenge, you can act like a mountain goat and scramble through the tangle of vegetation on our steep bush clad hillside removing problem plants and clearing overgrown pathways.

Work would be 4 to 5 hours a day Friday to Tuesday. Although... more inside

We live in a lovely rural dairy farming area on a lifestyle block, Our area is known for its lovely native bush, tramping, hunting, beautiful rivers, fishing and hot water pools. A very picturesque area that many don't get to see. We are very animal orientated, and our Veterinary practise is next to our house. We have 5 horses(experienced riders always welcome),3 dogs, one cat and a miniature pony, and live in a large home and garden so we are always happy to have a helping hand around the place.(Have a few small building/handyman jobs if you are good with hammer and saw) Nothing too strenuous. We have three adult children who no longer live at home and two grandies who come and stay. We are an easy going couple and love sharing our home, nice meals and our gorgeous part of paradise.

Hello Travellers / helpers

We are looking for 1 - 3 helpers to assist with work on our 1 acre property. We are close driving distance to Tauranga city and to Mt Maunganui beach. If you have a car it is a 5 min drive to a shopping centre or 10 mins to bush walks. We ask for 4.5 hours of work required for each nights accimodation you stay then the day is yours to do as you please, exploring the area or relaxing around the property.

We have space available and are able to take helpers short term, for 4 days - 15 days. We have space to take helpers December 2018 - March 2019.
We sometimes work away from the property at our jobs and therefore are not always available at the house, we find that it works well to write jobs down and create a list of things to be done. We have hosted via woofing for over 10 years and never had a problem writing a list until two girls from Franch told us it was very rude. We have had some lovely people stay with us and enjoyed learning about their... more inside

*** we are available for 1 week -16th to 23rd December***

We are in our 30's & have two young children (2 & 4) and live on a small lifestyle block which we purchased around 5 years ago.

It was very run down but we saw the potential to turn it into something amazing! We have put in a lot of hard work to get it to what it is today, but still have so much that we would like to achieve! We love living here and have absolutely amazing views!

We have cats, chickens, a goat, sheep and cows.

Duncan works full time and I am a stay at home Mum and have my own small successful direct sales business.

We are looking for preferably a male to give us a hand with outside work. We are renovating our home so need help with various tasks - building, painting, cleaning up etc. General house work. Gardening (moving dirt, mulch & weeding). Making a ponga retaining wall for our garden. Cutting and stacking gorse into piles. Chopping next years firewood with an axe and stacking it. ... more inside

Need someone urgently starting in December. This is best suited to someone who is willing to stay for a month or longer and a male or a very very hard working woman as the jobs are labour intensive and take time to teach and I have little time to teach a new person every week. Also better if you are 21yrs plus as you do require common sense and know how to do basic tasks. Please donít oversell yourself. If you say you can work with horses you need to be confident otherwise it can be dangerous and make more work for me. Otherwise specify your skill with horses. These are not horses from a pony club. Some are wild.

I am a single mum with my 7yr old autistic son along with our 2 dogs, and a whole bunch of horses

We are a very busy little family so you can't be scared to muck in. I mainly run a Horse trekking business from home where we regularly ride, exercise, groom and other horsey chores and sometimes compete. We also run school programmes and team building activities. We hav... more inside

We would love for some more helpers to come and stay.

We are a family of 6! We have a lifestyle block on which we try to support ourselves as much as we can! We produce our own power from a hydro unit in the river and get water from the river via a ram pump! Both interesting setups! We have our own bees, milking cows (not being milked at present) chickens, sheep (currently with 2 sweet lambs as well). We also currently have 3 dogs!!! as we are dog-sitting for a friend whom has gone to Scotland. We have vege gardens and establishing orchards. It's a good life, it truly is! Beautiful spot to enjoy nature.

We're flexible on the length of stay, we do ask for 4 hrs help during the day and help with the dishes after dinner in the evening. If you would like to have the weekends off then that is fine by us but for this time we ask you to provide your own food.

The work will be general tasks around the home and garden, we try to vary it during your stay so nothing becomes TOO mu... more inside
