**NO SPACE AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 2019**

I’m Dan and he’s Sam! We’re a young gay couple living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty Region. :-)
Both born in NZ. (Dan is also Swedish & Estonian)
Sam often works away from home and Dan works full-time plus studies – hence why we need some help around the property!
We eat everything! But we are also open to eating less meat – vegans or vegetarians welcome if you can teach us how to cook it! Gluten free/dairy free also welcome.
We do not smoke or drink. If you want a drink with your meal that's okay :-) No drugs.

Our Property:
We own 0.80+ hectares where we breed coloured sheep. We also have chickens and 2 cats. We’ve recently planted hundreds of native trees which are now growing. We have a small orchard of fruit trees and a vege patch.
Our property is situated just 15 minutes’ drive North of Tauranga/Mount Maunganui and about the same south of Katikati.
1 hour drive from Rotorua & also Hobbiton!

We live next door to a beau... more inside

This is a lifestyle home set in extensive lawn, garden and bush. It is nestled in the Ngongotaha Valley, 10 minutes north of Rotorua, and easily accessible via a local bus.

We are looking for help with our section and gardens during June and July to help with winter chores, pruning, weeding, etc. We prefer couples over 22 years of age, but are open to other offers.

This is a brilliant location from which to enjoy what Rotorua has to offer. For instance, we are very close to Canopy Tours, Wingspan, Paradise Valley, and the various attractions on Fairy Springs Road.

Hello, I am Diane and this is my place!

I live on a peninsula situated the harbor of Tauranga where i grow non-organic flowers and foliage for the commercial flower industry. It is rewarding work, plenty of fresh air and nature.

I have 2 rooms available, with their own shared lounge (plus TV) and bathroom. It is a modern house, with unique styling, large open plan lounge and dining area. Plus 2 decks, one small deck and a large one that is kitted out with BBQ, lighting, power and great views.

There are plenty of public parks around, one right across the road, a large nature park with its own beach only 200m (220 yard) walk and another with a leisure wharf about 500m (550 yards) down the road.

About 2.5km (1.5 miles) away, at the start of the road there is an Asian fusion restaurant and pub which also has a small horse trekking business. The city of Tauranga is only about a 15km (9 mile) drive away, with the famous Mt Maunganui and its white sandy beaches and surf only a... more inside

Winter is arriving so it is time to catch up with some outdoor work.
We are looking for a couple of enthusiastic, hard workers who enjoy the outdoors and making things look beautiful. There is trimming, general garden work/tidying and the relocation and building of a garden arch that we would like to complete over June - fancy helping us out?

In your time off, we are only 2 minutes walk from the incredible Poripori swimming holes, McLarens Falls park 5 minutes up the road, or head over to Mount Maunganui beach or enjoy any of the other many attractions here in the Bay of Plenty.

We ask for 3-5 hours work equivalent daily for board and lodging. As we are rural, you may find it easier if you have your own vehicle.

Immediate Start!

Hi, we are looking for a reliable and motivated female to assist with gardening, housework and occasional childcare.

We are located at Papamoa Beach (Tauranga) in the sunny Bay of Plenty.

We have a comfortable home which is opposite the beach access, close to parks and the school.

We have three children aged 7, 9 and 11 years.

We prefer mature persons with integrity, excellent English and a good sense of humour. Our children have grown up with au pairs and 'Helpers' and love interacting with new people.

We are an easy-going, typical 'kiwi' family and having travelled extensively ourselves, we enjoy sharing our home with other travel-minded people and hearing their life stories.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Chilled out small scale community in the Lower Kaimais.
We are currently regenerating a grazing paddock with a long term goal to create a tiny house community.
I am a mum with two kids 10 and 12 and a menagerie of animals. I own a catering business and also work as a body worker. There is definitely an option for paid work in the summer.
We like life to be fun, relaxed and communal!
We've got a indoor pool which gets lots of use over summer. The spa gets lots of use all year around!
We like people to hang around for at least a week if not two and its not uncommon for people to come for a week and still be here 6 months later. We like people who join in and become part of the family.
We have been WWOOF hosts for at least 5 years.
We expect four hours of work a day in exchange for a bed, food and the WIFI password;)

Private house with 2 adults and occasionally university son(s) home. Only 7 minutes drive to central Tauranga. On local bus route. We would love someone with construction skills to do some house repairs, including tiling in the kitchen. We also have a garden that needs work. If you have any of these skills, please contact us. We would also welcome someone who could help with some cooking and housework. I work full time and my husband is semi retired and a great cook!

Autumn is here, and some nice days are allowing us to clear gardens and prepare for winter as well as making wine, and bottling it. We need a couple of strong young guys to help us in the firewood block, where we have four felled gums cut into rounds and stack to dry for the next winter's heating.

The property is one of the better examples of self sufficiency you will have the opportunity to visit in NZ. Some nice worm farms have been re-constructed, solar PV panels and an electric car. You will be able to help with some weeding and tending the animals and small projects.
Also we are involved in organising a 300 Ha pest free zone in the Kaimai Mamaku State Forest Park, so you get an insiders view on possum, stoat and rat control up the end of the road.

We live simply, majoring in low carbon and a gentle footprint on earth. We mostly eat home grown produce. We are dairy free, but make our own Oat/almond milk.
We love making new international friends from HelpX.
