We would love for some more helpers to come and stay.

We are a family of 6! We have a lifestyle block on which we try to support ourselves as much as we can! We produce our own power from a hydro unit in the river and get water from the river via a ram pump! Both interesting setups! We have our own bees, milking cows (not being milked at present) chickens, sheep (currently with 2 sweet lambs as well) and pigs. We also currently have 3 dogs!!! as we are dog-sitting for a friend whom has gone to Scotland. We have vege gardens and establishing orchards. It's a good life, it truly is! Beautiful spot to enjoy nature.

We're flexible on the length of stay, we do ask for 4 hrs help during the day and help with the dishes after dinner in the evening. If you would like to have the weekends off then that is fine by us but for this time we ask you to provide your own food.

The work will be general tasks around the home and garden, we try to vary it during your stay so nothing becom... more inside

We have a large older home and grounds in the central city on the Tauranga harbor. We have kayaks to use if you enjoy being on the water. My husband and I are the only ones living in our home as our children have all left. Our home is very close to the city, walking distance to supermarkets and downtown. Our accommodation is a two bedroom separate area, with your own private bathroom, entrance and a small kitchenette, no cooking facilities. Work can be 4 hours a day or you can work 8 hours then have the day off to explore. All meals are provided. If you like cooking we would enjoy tasting your cuisine. It is mainly garden maintenance, weeding, pruning and hedge trimming. I enjoy cooking so its great to have more people in our home for me to cook for.
We enjoy meeting new young people from different countries

Hi!

We would love to have some visitors/helpers during the week (Monday-Friday) to clear brambles and big invasive weeds and help clear around NZ native trees in our gully/small stream. Also, we currently have house oiling and staining jobs, as well as planting new plants and seed sowing. We'd love to bring the beauty back and could do with some extra hands to help us.

Dave and I (Saskia) live on a 2 hectare property about 20 minutes drive from Tauranga or Mount Maunganui in a rural area with our 3 home-schooled children (Ana 14,Katja 13 and Charlie 10) and Yoyo the dog. Own transport would be best as we're rural, but we're happy to pick you up from town.

You'd have your own room and bathroom to use within our family home during the week and then you'd be free to travel/explore on the weekends when the house will booked out with AirbNb guests.

We'd like about 4 hours work a day in exchange for board and an evening meal (simple healthy food - mostly vegetarian, sugar-... more inside

We would love a bit of help with our projects! We are an energetic couple with one son (17 years old) still living at home. We are 15 minutes from down town Tauranga and we have almost finished converting our farm from forestry back to grazing. We have a beautiful property with lovely river running through. We are building a barn so tasks will be varied from helping with riparian planting, general farm work to painting, gardening or odd jobs on the barn. Plenty to do without getting bored any help would be wonderful.
There is so much to do in our region - from mountain biking to surfing at Mount Maunganui and a quick trip over the hill to see Hobbiton or a day trip to Rotorua. We would prefer you had your own vehicle as we are in the country.
We will supply a room in our house with your own bathroom. I will cook meals for you. We love having young people in our home. Ideally you would have a good sense of humour and be relaxed sort of people. Non- smokers please. In return we... more inside
