Hello Travellers! We are looking for one or two helpers for a week to 10 days from next week (29. October) to help us get our house and garden ready for summer. The work will involve water blasting, wooden deck cleaning and oiling, outdoor painting and general garden maintenance. We will actually be driving south from Rotorua, via Taupo and Waiouru back to Palmerston North along State Highway 1 on Monday, 28.10., so if you are travelling that way to get to us, we can give you a free lift. We are a Kiwi-German-Italian family of 4 and two original Kiwi cats at the very edge of Palmerston North overlooking the Manawatu River. Palmerston North is halfway between Wellington and the Central Plateau Volcanos (Tongariro), and can also be easily reached by Intercity Bus. We have a pretty luxurious downstairs bedroom with a comfortable double bed and its very own modern en-suite bathroom. The area is great for running, walking and cycling along the river just behind our garden fence, or to e... more inside

Family of 3, outdoors people, cats, dogs, chickens, cows and horses. Parents are self employed at home businesses, with a 16yr old son at highschool.
Property is 7kms from beach and nearest town (Foxton) and 25kms from Palmerston North city.

The farm house has 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Loads of friendly pets around, and a couple of horses. It's a really handy location to town, so it's great for socialising when not helping out! You would have internet, sky, washing machine etc..

Looking for help with a wide range of jobs i.e farm jobs, cleaning, cooking, helping with the horses, and odd jobs around the house.

We are a young couple looking for some enthusiastic people to join us. We are very social, and would be happy to show you around the area, and introduce you to kiwi food and beer :)
