I have a beef farm about 20 minutes drive out of Kaikohe or 50 minutes to Kerikeri, the Bay of Islands or Whangarei. It is one of the larger properties listed on helpx. Ideally I would like someone who can help with a variety of tasks; ranging from cleaning windows, housework, perhaps lawnmowing, or helping around the farm and cattle with seasonal tasks. Couples or 2 friends are welcome. Very flexible work hours. Normally, 4 hours work for bed & all meals. However, if it suits someone to work extra hours some days so they can take a full day off, to go sightseeing in the area, on another day, that can work too. I prefer meat eaters as that works in well with my meals. Also someone easy going, willing to learn and flexible. Accommodation is a large, private, comfortable bedroom, queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom. As I am out of town you need your own transport. Non smokers only please.

26 hectares of rolling grazing adjacent to a mangrove tidal estuary with beautiful harbour views. Fishing is available from the bottom of the farm. There is a kayak for use. I rear calves each spring and I raise other beef cattle. The property is located 20 minutes north east of Kaitaia. The accommodation is simple and comfortable and inside the main house at present. A current project is to develop separate accommodation in a nearby barn. Other projects include planting windbreaks, fencing, feeding calves, general stock work and household tasks including cooking. Camping is an option. I am needing some landscaping done so would welcome some help.

We need help with a tiny-house on wheels project for our Wwoofer accommodation on a coastal life-style block near Kerikeri/Bay of Islands. If you are experienced as carpenter/joiner/cabinet maker or an expert DIY person, you would be a great addition to the team. Good command of English or German required. Fishing from our pedal boats, swimming and hiking are great as off-work activities here. Let me know if you are interested to spend some time in the Far North with us in April/May.

We have moved up north to Kerikeri to a 2+ acres life-style block. Since October we have built a large veggie garden and a chicken coop. Maintenance and landscaping projects are always waiting for help. We are a couple, have cats and are a non-smoking household. The house is very comfortable, has stunning views. It is directly on the beach of Kerikeri Inlet, so you can enjoy a swim in the morning or after work (or fish or use the paddle board). If you like working out, then...great!
