Our property is in Hawea Flat, 15kms out of Wanaka where we grow organic vegetables and live in a straw bale house. Karine has a pottery studio here too. You will need your own car if you want to move around independently.
We like outdoor activities: rock climbing, tramping, cycling, swimming, camping, skiing.
We ask for 4 hours of help per day. You get a combination of meals prepared for you (typically dinner) and food to prepare for yourself. How would you like to stay in your own tree house? It is cosy and comfortable, with breathtaking mountain views. We need a helper in the garden and around the house. Times can vary and be blocked together to give you and us the flexibility to have a day or weekend off.
Wanaka is a centre for outdoor and adventure activities and has spectacular landscape right at your doorstep: lake, mountains, rivers, forests, MTB trails etc.

Hi everybody - someone who can use a weed eater and knows a bit about gardens would be very welcome for the week from the 20th to the 27th of January. We've come back to a very overgrown garden and need Help!
We are developing a permaculture garden and orchard.
At the moment we are terracing the large part of the section with brick walls and steps built with whatever recycled materials come to hand - a very long term project which needs constant help from our wonderful helpers.
Another job that we are hoping to get help with is building a small shed out of pallets - so any of you crafty carpenter types out there would be especially welcome.
We are also developing a fernery and planting out native hedges - so there are fantails and keruru in abundance. Though the development is sometimes hard work, it`s creative and fun. We are getting there but we could do with a bit of help from strong fit people whose knees can handle walking up and down a steep garden.
We also have work r... more inside

My partner and I own a 50 hectare lifestyle farm in Cambrians about 35 minutes from Alexandra, 1.5h from Queenstown and Wanaka and 10 minutes from St Bathan. The little settlement of Cambrians is very beautiful and reflects the history of the area. We have 6 horses, 2 donkeys and a few cows as well as 2 dogs.
We have 6 horses, 2 donkeys and a few cows as well as a couple of dogs.
Photos are of your accommodation, you have your separate wing of the house with own bathroom and wifi etc. We can accommodate up to 2 people and are looking for some help with weed control and a bit of building where required. Of course there will be some fun and horse riding will be part of the exchange to!!
Preferred length of stay is a week or more but we’re pretty flexible on this.
Cheers Jamie and Thomas

Hi there, I am looking for some general help for my small property (around 500sqm) in central Dunedin. If you are looking to spend a bit of time in this lovely city, I would love you to come and help out, any time between February 19th and March 1st. I am looking for some general weeding, window cleaning and maybe cleaning some pathways (but that is optional). I anticipate it will be two days of work, you will get your own floor in my house with your own bathroom, bedroom, living room, laundry facilities and unlimited wifi! You will be welcome to use the kitchen upstairs and the lovely outdoor deck, and I look forward to hosting you with some beautiful kiwi food for all your meals while you are here including vegan and/or gluten free if required.

It is a lovely 15 minute walk to the city from my place and there is a great bus service too. No real experience required, although previous gardening would be an advantage - this would definitely suit a couple.

We need help around the home the usual stuff in particular gardening cleaning etc. Ideally we would like the same person(s) for a few weeks or so. Availability in particular from 15th Jan. Also ideally looking for someone who wants to stay a little longer or maybe for the summer or winter season. We need help with anything and everything (gardening, cleaning, washing clothes, cleaning windows, mopping floors, watering plants, hoovering & ironing etc). A good standard of English is helpful. Looking for someone who is independent and happy to to pitch in with whatever needs doing. Would prefer a single girl as our kids seem more comfortable with that but would consider a couple or two friends.

You will be staying (in our fairly new 2017 German Dethleff caravan with all mod cons including wifi, electricity heating and fridge etc) plus 3 meals in exchange for 4
hours help per person per night stayed with 2 days off for 7 worked days. The help may be in the morning or afte... more inside

My name is Louise and I run an art gallery with a bar and kitchen. We host musical gigs every week & also Qigong classes on a weekly basis.... often catering for special events and parties. There is a garden where we hold outside musical events and over the Summer months there is always plenty to do....
Jobs could include dishes, bar work, barista, gardening, dog walking, chopping firewood, cleaning. The busiest days are Friday nights so working then is a must. Other days can be flexible depending on jobs or events and if you are around the gallery you will be fed. Bonnie does need a lot of attention every day.
My dog Bonnie, and I live just 10 minutes north on a farm which is truly beautiful and very quiet and rural. We enjoy the beauty and tranquility and hope that our visitors will too. We have a spacious caravan with double bed and sitting room space for our visitors. Shower and washing facilities are available in my place which is a converted woolshed.

Tiny homes and Qi Gong a focus, Old government complex beach and ecosanctuary nearby,

Vege gardens under development, big job with one person doing most of it, people interested in building, landscaping, gardening, maintenance, healing work, yoga etc would be very handy.
Also building mobile homes on site and doing a lot of tree planting and maintenance

Looking for people to help with building projects - perhaps to build their own tiny home while helping me on mine ?
