Welcome to our little farm on the internet. We have been hosting international travelers for eight years and it has been a rewarding experience for all.

We share our passion for ethical and sustainable farming to anyone that has an interest. Our ideal helper is one that loves animals and will use their time here to interact and be involved with their care. Having your own initiative is a real bonus to us.

Seeking friendly open minded person that is happy to help around the home and around the farm. We prefer helpers to stay a minimum of two weeks and those with horse handling experience are very welcome.

Located two and half hours west of Melbourne just off the Great Ocean Road. Plenty to see and do when time is your own.

Guests stay in the main house, with your own room and shared bathroom. All meals are meat and fish based with vegetables taken from the garden if the previous helpers have done their job ;) There is never a shortage of fresh vegetabl... more inside

Our organic/biodynamic vineyard, vegetable gardens, farmhouse café and cellar door needs happy, fit, outdoorsy helpers for longer stays - minimum of 4 weeks.

You will experience a beautiful farm on the Bellarine Peninsula close to Geelong and the Great Ocean Road. Our waterfront vineyard/winery/cafe with provedore vegetable and fruit gardens has hosted happy young travellers for over three years and our growing popularity means we are busy all year round in the gardens, vineyards, bushland and café.

On the farm we use sustainable practices with our grapevines, vegetables and fruit production and the farm looks out over the Ramsar Listed wetlands and marine National Park of Swan Bay towards the historic seaside village of Queenscliff. We are situated 10 mins from Queenscliff, 30 mins Geelong and 90 mins Melbourne (60mins train). We are looking for someone to help out in a nanny/housekeeping role for a week or more. We would prefer to host only one person at a time - not two or more people.

We are currently hosting someone until the 16th of July, so would be available to host after that.

Things you could help us with include planning and cooking dinner, cleaning, looking after the little ones, childcare/kinder drop off/pick up, gardening and general housekeeping.

We expect approximately 3 hours of work per day, but occasionally this would be more, and some days less.

We prefer it if you are self directed in terms of getting things done – you can choose when you do things to work in best with your plans. Melbourne is a great place so we hope you can get out and explore it as much as possible! I will give you a list of things we need help with – but I won’t tell you what to do when (I spend enough time telling my kids what to do!). You can look through the list and decide what t... more inside

This is a beautiful property - and requires some ongoing general property maintenance.
Jobs including gardening - weeding, mowing, trimming, mulching and some painting. The choock shed needs a bit of attention, nothing to major, just general upkeep really.
I`d be happy to have you here, no smoking, drugs or alcohol.
The property backs onto the beautiful Tarago River and has a variety of native bird life around.
For those wondering - there is plenty of space to park your RV and hook up to water and power!
Longwarry North is in West Gippsland, its about 1hr 15 minutes from Melbourne CBD, about 1 hour from Philip Island and Wilsons Prom, at the foothills of the Strezlecki ranges and Mt Baw Baw. Some very beautiful country to explore around Gippsland. Your own vehicle is a must.

Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc. You can travel via car or public transport to reach me. If needed I can pick up from Melbourne and drive you back there. I can also pick up from public transport nearby.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with spreading mulch, planting, weeding or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the jobs is important.

I have, in the pa... more inside

INNER CITY MELBOURNE HOME:
A beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing home in an inner city Melbourne suburb, surrounded by nature with easy access to all the sights of Melbourne. Very close to CBD, and to the beach. There is a bus stop 60 seconds from my front door that takes you to the train and into the city and the train station is a short walk away (10-15 minutes) that is only a few stops into the CBD. My home is a ‘No smoking and no alcohol’ home. (If you smoke you can smoke outside.)

I am a professional woman in my late forties, engaged and soon to be married. I naturally gravitate towards people who are open-hearted, generous of spirit, positive and self aware. I surround myself with open-hearted, generous people who are making a positive difference in the world or are on a spiritual or personal growth journey of some kind. I am interested in psychology, health, and business. I exercise daily (bike and gym), eat healthily, and I appreciate being outdoors in nature.
