Townsville is a tourist hub, with access to beach, mountains, reef, rainforest and bush. Cranbrook is a leafy suburb across the river from the university, close to Riverway (free freshwater swimming lagoon, with art gallery) and shops, and on the bus route. There are large trees around my house, and there is always gardening or raking to do. My mother lives in a house 3 minutes away, and I help her with her garden.
Accommodation is an upstairs bedroom with a single bed. We share the bathroom and kitchen - in exchange for gardening, maintenance, painting, cooking or housework. I show my dachshunds, and they like to oversee human pursuits like digging, weeding and walking. May assist with transport to local hiking spots, beach, or parks, or may be able to pick you up from train or bus station outside business hours. Prefer helpers who are non-smokers with family-friendly values, and able to work unsupervised when I go out. Also, Townsville is usually hot in the middle of th... more inside

Hi I am looking for people who want to stay in beautiful Maleny. My house is walking distance to the township and public transport as well as half an hours drive to the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Brisbane is accessible by train and there are several swimming holes nearby. I have a pushbike that can be used. Usually the tasks are general painting, cleaning, website building, gardening and sometimes little building projects.

The exchange is 5 hours of your time in exchange for accommodation and food.

We have a cat called MEIMEI.

Looking forward to all x changers. Usually we take people for one week.
Maleny is a community strong village and is surrounded by beautiful rain forest pockets, walks, swimming holes and has public transport that can take you to Australia's most beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast.
