We have a beautiful Federation Style house in Cottesloe , best beach suburb in Perth and only a walk away from the beach., Even though we have a small property we grow much of our own vegetables and live as ecologically as possible. We are very close to public transport (train station and bus) going to Perth City and Fremantle. We offer 3 healthy (mostly vegetarian) meals.We occasionally also eat meat and fish. You will have a nice room to stay in with a very comfortable bed.We have a camper van that we travel with often and can give you many tips where to go.We are young at heart and enjoy good conversations.We are health conscious and love good food.

Hi there,

Its a perfect time to see our beautiful part of the country, the south west of WA :)(three hours by car, south of Perth )(the beaches are beautiful , surf is great )(lots of beautiful nature to explore, we see kangaroos and possums, magpies, kookaburras and all sorts of creatures at our place ) :)

OUR FULL PROFILE: Help is required from mid April to mid June and on through to the end of October, 2019. Helpers can stay from six weeks to two or three months in the above time frame.

We are looking for helpers to care for our "menagerie"-this is a volunteering position. Because I do not cook for you - we contribute $65.00 each, person per week, toward the cost of your groceries.
I can meet the bus in Brookton if you don`t have a car - but your own vehicle/transport is essential if you would like to go “sight-seeing” on your days off. You get time out for a break, medical, dental appointments etc., so long as
we are not all away at the same time.
Accommodation is a fully furnished and equipped (linen, crockery etc.,) granny flat with bathroom and toilet, a new fridge, a stove, R.C. Air Con and a washing machine. about 100 metres from the main house - a van can be pulled alongside.

Esperance is between Albany WA and Adelaide SA. Having your own vehicle is ideal for getting around.

We have joined HelpX as much for learning about other people's culture as well as for the help around the property.

We are on a selectively cleared block, within easy walking distance to town. Our property has organic/permaculture gardens and fruit trees scattered throughout. We also have some beehives that we regularly collect honey from. The house has been designed using solar passive principals. It is powered by solar panels, a wind turbine and a generator using biodiesel that we produce ourselves. We are not connected to the grid.

We enjoy hosting Helpers who are independent and self-motivated. Minimum stays of 1 week are preferred but we encourage longer stays!

We have a 5 acre horse property in the hills of Roleystone and have been hosting Help X members for many years now. We find it to be very rewarding and love the exchange of ideas, skills and culture.

Aside from the horses we have productive and ornamental gardens which we run along organic and permaculture guidelines. We also have turkeys, geese, ducks,chickens, two dogs and two cats.

Nearby is Banyowla National Park with many walk trails. Here you can enjoy great views to the city and see wildlife and wildflowers in season. Other attractions nearby include Araluen Botanic Park, Karakin and Armadale Wildlife Park.

I live about 30 km from the ocean good surf beaches in the area and lots of wineries. My property is 17 km from town there is no public transport out here in the Bush/forest. Most of the work I need here is Gardening weeding in the veggie patch and generally just cleaning up around the yard and cutting firewood for the winter and general housework and carpentry and joinery and just basic building I have been working on my house for 10 years and just need to get it finished. And I can go travelling up North into the outback with my dog do some gold prospecting. The accommodation here is separate to the main house it is a four room shack. If you do not have a car I can pick you up and show you some of the main features of the area depending on how long you stay.I am new to help X.
