All the below is true but Nicola and kids will be away for most of July. During this time I (Dan) will remain and hope to get a few garden and home improvement jobs done. The house will be quiet without the kids. Feel free to request a winter break here whilst getting some projects done with me!

Young family with three children under 12. Our property includes extensive gardens but is not a farm as such though we are bordered on two sides by farmland. There is plenty of home, animal and garden care with which we'd appreciate help and our children love having guests here from around the world. We have a dog called 'Happy' who enjoys a walk about our quiet town so dog lovers or people who enjoy a stroll are most welcome.

The town of Boyanup where we live is 15 mins from Bunbury so you can also venture to town from here easily... We look fwd to meeting lovely folk with HelpX

Please read my profile.

I am crazy so the house is more than a bit crazy, people seem to like my place, probably because I cook good food :)

I need people who can stay a minimum of 7 days

Work arrangements can be negotiated, preferring 4 hours per day 5 days per week starting at 9AM sharp, in exchange for accommodation and meals.
Washing dishes after meals is part of the work.

My home is very disorganised, untidy and sometimes the house is dirty, if that is a problem for you, it would be best for you to find another host please :)

That does not mean that I want you to reorganise my home, because I can not find things after you leave.

If you feel you need to use lots of cleaning chemicals or waste my limited resources, find another host please.

Please conserve water.

If there are foods that you do not eat, please let me know before you arrive.
I can prepare good, healthy meals and can cater to most peoples needs. I enjoy food from diverse cuisines. and also ... more inside

Our family home was only finished late 2012, so we are still establishing permaculture gardens although our vegetable garden and orchard are complete.

We have 2 chickens Thelma and Louise for eggs, and three border collies Molly Jack and Tom and two cats Tiger and Missy who love company.

We are foodies and love to share different cuisines. Lee is a massage therapist(bit of a bonus)and we both enjoy welcoming Helpx to our home, and then become our extended family- we enjoy showing our region site seeing.

Lee needs help with the garden and vegetable beds and seasonal mulching of our fruit trees, and just general company would be lovely.

We supply a comfortable queen room with own bathroom/food and amenities in our home in exchange for 4 hours per day however we are flexible and are prepared to negotiate, and Bridgetown is a simply beautiful river town with good shopping, hospitality, library and amenities. It is only 1 hour 20 minutes to Margaret River(day trip) and a p... more inside

If you want to work in the outback, we offer all FREE meals and accommodation and a great bunch of people.

MOST people will need a car to get out here, we are about half way between Perth & Adelaide. If you are car sharing and wish to stop off here, you can get a ride with a truck, car, etc.. when you wish to move on. This is what most people do.

PLEASE be aware we are one of the remotest workplaces, not only in Australia, but the world. The Nullarbor is one of Australia’s best known “drives” - NEVER drive at night.

3-4 Hours a day, painting, housekeeping, lots of small maintenance jobs, plus w.h.y. Out here every type of work is available, you only work five days a week, however, as weekends mean nothing out here, your days off can be a week... more inside

We are a small family, Andrew, Karen and 6 year old George. We live in Dalyellup, right near the beach!! Andrew works in mining, whilst Karen is studying and George attends school.

We love going to the beach, markets, cooking and working in our garden. Where we live is just beautiful with lots of grassy parks, shady trees and endless white beaches. There are lots of fun things to do nearby including visiting Gnomesville, art & sculptures, dolphin centre, wildlife park (feed kangaroos & emus) and scenic drives.

We love meeting new people and George gets very excited if someone reads stories or builds lego with him.

If you're interested in staying with us please contact us.

Non smoking guests only sorry.

This Permaculture Farm and Nature Retreat is 40 acres on the magnificent Ord River at Kununurra - 2019 number 1 tourist destination. The East Kimberley is one of Australia's most spectacular areas - for those who enjoy the great outdoors, hiking, Kayaking, waterfalls, bird watching, fishing and exploring.

We are working towards growing our own food using Permaculture Principles and the 20 acres of zone 5 is a haven with Land for Wildlife - this area is what we need help with as part of a bush regeneration plan.
The exchange is 3 hours per day of working in the gardens and around the farm. Including but not limited to making new garden beds, removing weed trees and vines & caring for the chickens. The Accommodation is a comfortable converted Toyota bus and use of shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Or there is plenty of room for your own accommodation and working hours would be reduced.

We are on a lifestyle block on a stunning location 8km West of Bridgetown.
My husband is a FIFO miner working away for 2 weeks at a time.
I have 2 permanent boarders during the week.
I have 2 large bedrooms with king size beds and access to own bathroom and toilet.
I work part time and keep to myself pretty much.
Helpers have access to large kitchen and whole house and yards. Our children are adults and live in Perth.
I need some willing hands to shift some bricks onto pallets, cart some mulch into a chook yard and do a little weeding.
I can pick you up from the bus that comes from Perth and will take you to town for shopping.
I can supply some eggs but in exchange for 2 hrs work a day I'd expect you to do your own cooking.
I'm not a vegetarian. Non smokers only please.
I have 1 cat, chickens and some sheep. But you have no home or animal duties!
This is a peaceful, reflective environment which is rejuvenating.
I was hoping to have 2 people to help during the week... more inside
