Hi there, I’m Craig. I have a beach house on the south west coast of WA at Windy Harbour that I am trying to complete building so it is suitable for short term accommodation. I own and operate a business in Northcliffe and travel between there and windy Harbour atm.
Windy Harbour is an off grid, holiday and fishing village in an A class reserve within D’Entrecasteaux national park, on the rugged south coast of Western Australia. It is a great base for exploring local beaches, forests, hiking, camping, surfing and the like. It is close to Manjimup, Pemberton and similar south west towns that offer seasonal farm work. Currently I require some help with general home maintenance and garden help. Building, Carpentry, painting, cleaning, cooking, repairs, irrigation, turf maintenance, farm hand, tractor and machinery experience are all useful skills ( and keywords apparently). Shorter stays of two or three nights is probably mutually beneficial. So if you are looking for some beach a... more inside

Stay in a Scandinavian-style cottage all your own in WA’s stunning south-west

Our 5-acre block ‘Karri Patch’ near Dunsborough is part gardens and part native bush, and we need some helping hands on and off during 2020. At the moment we're looking for helpers during March.

Karri Patch belongs to Pippa and Richard, and also living on the property is their daughter, Jo, and her husband Dylan, who are in their 30s. Jo is busy with a toddler and baby and Dylan works long hours so has little time on the property.

Outdoor jobs might include painting/staining outdoor furniture, fences and cladding, helping us construct wicking boxes (raised garden beds with inbuilt water reservoirs), raking and sweeping leaves, making compost, pruning fruit trees, watering, small maintenance jobs like repairing fruit tree netting, and helping in the veggie garden. Helpers who are practical are best, and we’re keen to hear what your skills and interests are.

Your accommodation is a two-bedroom... more inside

Hi, this is a unique opportunity to live in a museum! I am the curator and caretaker of an historic homestead built between 1862-1880, located within extensive gardens. Part of the house now functions as a museum. The property is in a rural setting at Greenough - just off the Brand Hwy- 19 kms south of Geraldton and 400km north of Perth.
This place can seem isolated if you do not have a car. However, I do have a bicycle available, and I take helpers into Geraldton at Least once a week, and to community events, as well as showing you local attractions.
I have planted fruit trees and established an organic vegetable garden. Helpers must like animals as I have ducks, guinea pigs and 2 dogs. The property is close to isolated stretches of beach, bushland and other tourist attractions.
Work includes gardening, cooking, cleaning, art projects, translating, helping keep the museum open, minor property maintenance, etc.
Only have accommodation for one person at a time and prefer no... more inside
