We have a large and beautiful home, with one guest room, sometimes two. Jobs some painting inside and out Garden work, building shelving in our garage and or general cleaning and maintenance. We live about 25 minutes from the town centre, there are bikes that can be used or public transport is very close, shops are within walking distance. We do not eat meat (fish only) and eat a lot from the garden.
We prefer you to not wear perfumes etc while staying as some of us are allergic. Our home functions as a householder ashram so Yoga is the basis of our life. We have a tiny dog who loves people and loves to be adored. The swimming pool stays cool in summer. We run our business from home and workers come and stay periodically. You would have your own bedroom or share with one other person if you travel together, use of the guest bathroom and all the other things that go with living in a home. We prefer people to stay for a minimum of three days so the work can progress.

We are an easygoing couple with two children (10 and 12 years old) living on a large suburban block. We love hosting people who are respectful, positive and interested in simple, natural lifestyles. We eat a healthy, simple and low sugar diet- rice, local vegetables, seasonal fruit, meat etc.

We used to host a lot but have been away a lot over the last three plus years travelling and doing other things so have only returned to hosting recently. We have made some wonderful friends through this program and having extra help has kept us sane when we are in town.

The kind of help we would appreciate at the moment is quite varied. We always appreciate help with general house stuff, i.e. cooking, cleaning etc and gardening. If you have a special skill let us know about it and we will let you know if we have some projects that could utilise your skill. We have had people help with carpentry, electrics, painting (both artistic and household), video editing, all sorts. The kids also o... more inside

Hi there! We're Jacqui and Mike, a family with two small kids and a couple of friendly dogs who live on a remote 150 Ha wilderness block in the upper hills of the Adelaide River, called Wrigley Creek. We both work part time, and at home we are working to conserve and restore the high quality ecological values of this block.

We currently would like help around our property- mostly in the permaculture gardens: pruning, mulching, fixing irrigation and expanding garden beds, and around the house with cleaning and general maintenance.

Our living areas are surrounded by tropical permaculture food gardens and a dam with waterslide access, plunge pool and Wrigley Creek, which flows most of the year with numerous crocodile-free swimming holes. The bush offers views of the valleys, hills and escarpments.

Our home is about 1hr 45 minutes south of Darwin and about 30km south of Adelaide River township. Our property is 15 minutes drive from the spectacular Robin Falls, and 20 minutes... more inside

Hi guys

This is a quiet, no party hostel with a relaxed, homey vibe - owned & managed by Seb (German) and Miriam (Swiss).

YOU CANNOT SELF ISOLATE AT ALICE'S SECRET!
you need to be in a place where you're fully self contained with no access to the outside world! We can't do that here.
Once you completed your isolation we're happy to have a chat.

We have been severely impacted by Covid-19 and can only offer very limited spots.
We will need helpers once we actually have guests staying again. Helpers (based on free accommodation & free use of all facilities)need to be willing to commit for at least 4 weeks or longer.

Main task will be, washing, drying and folding sheets. Cleaning dorms, facilities & maintenance. The Job keeps you busy for a couple of hours in the morning, this gives you the opportunity to work in a paid job in town in the arvo or at nighttimes.

We are happy to book you onto a well discounted Uluru 3 Day Tour at the End of your agreed minimum stay o... more inside
