There is also an events room with cultural functions every fortnite. We are blessed to be part of the local community and you can join in if you so chose.

Reason for posting is that we recently bought a small piece of land from our farmer neighbours and need help getting it stone cleared and raked before we can grass seed.

Hi

We are Richard and Janet and we consider ourselves to be a young couple in our mid-fifties! We live in rural Lincolnshire with our two large dogs.

We are mainly seeking help with gardening, landscaping, maintenance, decorating and building repair work together with occasional domestic chores. If you are good with vehicles we also have a number of classic car projects in our workshop, a half converted camper and a number of old pinball machines etc. for anyone who has a flare for electronics. There are always lots of projects on the go from building things to fixing things and occasionally just doing things for the fun of it. We are not a business enterprise.

You must love dogs as they are a big part of our lives. Our home is an old partly refurbished farm house and group of outbuildings dating back to the 1850s. It is set in two acres of land located approximately 3 miles or 5 Km from the nearest town of Boston. We are located 2 miles or 3 Km from our nearest convenie... more inside

To help to renovate and maintain a big house in its own large gardens in a beautiful and peaceful location, but near to shops and facilities.
We are 30km from Manchester and direct trains and buses leave to the city from close by. Just above the house is the boundary to the Peak Park with magnificent walking trails, rock climbing, and panoramic views.

Please ignore the photos of our bungalows in Ireland, you will not be staying in them if you visit us in the Peak District. The top left photo is of the garden here.

Through April and into May 2019, Andy is reroofing and reslating an outbuilding behind the main house and some help with that would be very welcome. Labouring tasks, grading slates, tidying the site up, moving materials, clearing up leaves, lighting the woodburners in the house, collecting fuel.

We will be away in June but in July, August and September we will be in Ireland and also need helpers there.

There is the possibility of helping us and playing with ... more inside

I am a retired English teacher with an interest in all things organic. I live with my husband Richard who is a computer manager, and our newest family member, a rather naughty little puppy.
We have built a straw bale house in our garden, We keep bees and run a Community Orchard. We are looking for help with our garden,, cutting hedges and weeding, and help with our grandchildren, aged 4 and 6.
WeI will help the volunteer to improve their English, and you have a nice bedroom and bathroom and good food which is mainly vegetarian.
We have an internationally renowned Art Gallery in Wakefield, a wonderful Sculpture Park, and the University city of Leeds is 20 minutes away on the train.

We also have a seaside apartmen very close to a surfing beach, which you can see in the photos. The first photo shows our Wakefield garden.

Our helpers have all been amazing, and we really enjoy the experience; we hope you will too!

We bought a derelict smallholding not so long ago and moved in with all of our animals. We have a challenge doing it up at the same time as working and looking after the animals. We would love to welcome anyone who would help us tick a few jobs off the long list of things to do and get this place looking and working well again.
There are a variety of activities from animal care to restoring an organic vegetable patch, through to some outbuilding maintenance. The jobs will be as varied as the animals we keep.
We have alpacas, chickens, sheep, ducks, rabbits, cats, dogs and peafowl.
We have 7 cria due in 2019, so there will also be plenty of opportunities to help out with alpaca births and mating.

The accommodation is somewhat rustic, but that is only because we haven`t yet finished restoring the bungalow. You will be given an upstairs room and will share our downstairs shower room. We currently sleep in the living room. Upstairs is very much unfinished; it is nearly completely... more inside

Currently building Base for Yurt and a Compost Toilet....carpentry skills would be helpful but not essential!...

Hello!
My name is Emma. For nearly 5 years now I've looked after 22acres of enchanted land on the beautiful Blackdown Hills in Devon. I'm gently turning the land in to an off-grid Nature Based Healing Retreat. There is weeding, planting, building gateways, compost loos that need creating....the list goes on!! It is magical there. We've already created a small orchard and a nuttery - I teach basket making there and have a passion for wild food foraging which I also teach people.

I need help!...working on the land and with the computer side of things....I am looking for genuine, hard working, honest, English speaking, happy, fun and inspired individuals to assist me.

My accommodation is simple....I live with my beloved cat, 6 miles from the land on a farm in absolutely stunning rural surroundings...in an old and cosy static caravan among a small community. The ... more inside

Hi traveller!

First: Please read all of our listing before contacting us - thank you!

We are a young-at-heart, well-travelled couple who own two holiday cottages. One is in the countryside in Somerset (rural, but not isolated). The other is at the sea-side in lovely West Mersea, Essex.

We spend time between May and September at these properties, having a working holiday ourselves, doing basic property maintenance, spring cleaning and gardening. The rest of the year we spend abroad (www.equitationsciencetraining.net)

We love hosting and to have good company while we are keeping these properties tidy, and you are welcome to join us in either property if you have RELEVANT experience (either property maintenance, cleaning or gardening).

At the moment we could do with a few pallets chopping up, window cleaning, and the gutters and drains wiping over if you're ok up a ladder, and a few bits and bobs fixing. Car washing and interior cleaning always appreciated too. Caravan ... more inside
