We also run a campsite, have people who rent rooms from us long term and people who rent rooms for just a couple of days. So its fun here with lots of new people coming and going. You will not be asked to help with our business, but if you choose you can practice your English on our guests.

UPDATES-IMPORTANT:

- One helper needed from the 14th of July aprox to join our team of 4 helpers.
- Another one probably from end of July but he doesn't know yet.
- 2 or 3 from the first week of September.

* Ideally minimum stay 4 weeks.
* We don't plan too far ahead as all depends on how long the current helpers are staying or extending but you can try. Sometimes we know when exactly we will need more helpers.

+++ At the moment the help required is very easy: Basically 3-4h cleaning in the morning since we have 2 managers doing morning/evening shifts for the welcomings.

Hi! My nameís Natta! I work as a model & lap dancer but am lucky enough to live off the grid with my husband & mad collie pup where we also run a small woodland based business.

We work the forest to source timber from which we produce firewood, charcoal, and speciality pieces all of which we sell locally. We're a bit alternative, and although we run a woodland based business which we love and have worked tremendously hard for, we're also both free spirited creative types and enjoy much that life can offer.

I live with bipolar 1, schizophrenia & hyper-sexuality which in the past has had huge detrimental effects on my life. We've recently completed our self built off grid timber and straw bale house, and are now finding this has also provided new working opportunities as well as providing a lifestyle which has greatly improved my mental health. Living here, med free, growing food, working the woods, sourcing our own power & water, ditching my smartphone, all has helped me find... more inside

We are an environmental and human awareness project with a deep love and respect for the Natural world, that all life is to be respected and protected, we are located in the Forest of Dean, in Gloucestershire. We offer a space for people to connect with nature and learn more about it. We provide fantastic opportunities for volunteers to take their own initiative, be creative and learn more about community living and our impact on the environment, as well as taking personal introspective time to listen to our own inner landscapes.

We take volunteers for a minimum of 2 months and we priorities placements for people who are interested in a more long term stays. Set in the beautiful countryside just on the Welsh border. Close to areas of special scientific interest, meres, mosses and canals.
We farm in a mostly organic way, sheep, poultry, rescued horses.also rescued dogs. We would like help from people with abilities in construction, fencing or logging or those who wish to care for the animals.
Our gardens and hedgerows are left for the benefit of the many rare birds and insects.
Due to failing health we need help to continue our work. This is rural but not remote. There is limited bus service within one mile and trains three miles away.( The nearest town) We do provide bicycles and help to travel where possible.
The work is outdoors and mainly physical, so willingness to muck in and muck out in ALL weathers is essential!.. Together with an empathy for what we do. We welcome help from anywhere but please only people who have read and understand the basic profile. This is a very busy place and we don't have time to spend days messaging ... more inside
