2 small farms turned into the one near the West Coast of Clare. We keep lots of farm animals like cattle, 9 horses (three for riding)we have interest in natural horsemanship!, donkeys, sheep, goats, fowl and sometimes pigs. We produce a wide range of vegetables for ourselves and some for selling. We have two children, went to primary Steiner/ Waldorf school; Frank (19) and Fina(15) and they love having volunteers around the place. Now they go to a local secondary school. We hope you have the ability to adapt to our for most of you different and simple life-style and enjoy farmwork with irregular hours at times, even our time off is irregular most likely on sundays or bad rainy days! We hope that during your stay with us you are willing and able to work as hard as ourselves, it could be tough at times, but you will get a true sense of farming life-style! It is important to realise beforehand that you are a volunteer who gets the opportunity to join into our family home so please do... more inside

We are looking for someone to help us with our guest house and garden, such as greeting guests, tidying up, cleaning, and maybe some light gardening with Tom during the busy summer season. If you like ponies we have a lovely friendly pony in stable and would be delighted if you could help out. We offer free accommodation 7 nights a week in exchange for circa 20 hours of help per week. This is a small, friendly cottage located on the outskirts of Waterford City Centre in the Suir river valley. Our philosophy is to offer a home away from home to international guests. There are also 2 dogs, 2 cats and of course Socki the pony. Tom is an experienced tour guide with a great inside into travelling around Ireland. The cottge has a big garden and the locality is very scenic.

We live near Arvagh which is in Co. Cavan and is a beautiful lake district. We are trying to develop this business as well as develop our garden and try to grow as much of our own food as possible.Skills in carpentry would be really useful to build a tree house as well as usual maintenance jobs to be done. We need help in both the house and garden. We have a donkey so if you can help with teaching him to pull a cart them that would be fantastic. Anybody skilled in boat repair would be especially welcome so that we can enjoy the local lakes. Good helpers who like housework, getting the lunch ready other volunteers, keeping the place properly clean and making hostel beds, doing laundry etc also welcome. There are 365 lakes of Cavan. It's a very scenic and underdeveloped part of Ireland and you have 2 days off each week to explore.

We are now about to start lambing and would like help at this time, we also have calves that need milk twice a day.
We have a wide range of animals all of which we would like help with the care of them. We have 2 ponies that can be ridden by volunteers if they wish.

We have many types of poultry which we breed and sell at local fairs and agricultural shows. We are now starting to hatch baby chicks and ducks.

We are looking for help from now and through the summer.

There is also gardening, and maintenance works needed doing.

We are looking for people that can help with the above and can use their own initiative at times and can work in a team with us.

Hi All

I would like some help with gardening, painting and maintaining the place inside and outside .... I have a small garden and a poly tunnel ... and a lawn to cut ..... we work 5hrs a day, for five days ... but the hours can be flexible to enable any attraction visits or sightseeing you may wish to do.
We will eat well, I'll provide good food, I would like to become vegetarian now for environmental reasons., so if you are veggy and can prepare some dishes I would be delighted... the place is warm and comfy. Everyone will be treated like family.

I'm living near,(6 miles),from the coast and a few lovely beaches & interesting places and about (10 miles) from the surfing beach, Lehinch, on the west coast of Clare.

I looking forward to meeting new people and having some help and fun at the same time, thank you.
Aloha x
