I run a small part-time thoroughbred breeding concern in Co. Monaghan. I currently have 3 mares and 1 2year-old.

The day starts off with an early morning feed and some training with the 2 year-old which takes about 45 minutes. The horses are then turned out for the day and the next horse job is a feed in the middle of the day followed by another at 9pm before the horses are turned out again for the night. Ocassionally if a horse is sick or has an injury it may be confined to it's stable so some mucking-out is required. From November to March the horses are stabled at night so mucking-out duties are required during this period.

I also have a few sheep and 2 cats.

If you are willing to help you will need to be very experienced around horses as the horses are racehorses and they can be unpredictable and are very powerful. In return the horses give you lots of pleasure. I also travel the horses to Stud farms and Racecourses during the year so if you're happy to come along you w... more inside

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children, living on a dairy farm, with polytunnels and raised beds for vegetable growing.

We cater for both vegetarian and non vegetarian volunteers. If they wish, vegetarians can prepare their own meals. Claire is limited in her experience of cooking principally vegetarian food but is learning fast!

We will need people for seed sowing and transplanting in Spring and early Summer. Gerard would also need help sometimes with milking the cows, especially in the mornings. This job is done twice a day During Autumn and Winter, we would be doing some stone clearance, building of walls and paths and some general maintenance of the tunnels etc. /we don`t take people in December as there is little work to be done on the farm at this time.

We have recently converted a farm barn into a 2 bedroom unit with a kitchenette/living room area and a bathroom. It can accommodate up to 3 people, but usually we take 2 people at a time,... more inside

*** NEWS UPDATE: WE CURRENTLY HAVE NEED OF PEOPLE WHO ARE GOOD AT OUTDOOR WORK - BUILDING, CARPENTRY, GARDENING ETC. 2 PEOPLE NEEDED NOW FOR AONE OR TWO MONTHS - BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE TOOLS!! THANKS. ***

Since 2012, hundreds of wonderful people from all over the world have volunteered with us. We are very grateful for all they do. Some come for two weeks; most come for two or three months and some stay for a year! Others come back for a second, third or even fourth visit. It`s best if people come for at least 2 months. This gives time to settle in and experience a lot more.

We live in a small, traditional west of Ireland village which has a theatre, sculpture centre, nice pubs and lots of sports clubs. There are lots of hill walks and outdoor activities nearby and we are a 30 minute drive from the Atlantic Ocean. Nearby are three larger towns with public transport (train or bus) to Dublin, Belfast, Londond... more inside

Hi there
Looking for helpers for a week or two weeks at a time to help with the restoration. . If you have specific carpentry or brick laying skills we may also be able to pay you if you wish to work extra hours. We are also looking for an au pair or au pair/helper couple for a longer stay (min 6 months and you will be given a car, phone, money, own private studio etc).

We are renovating a 19th century Victorian house and gardens. As part of that renovation we are also renovating the gardens and introducing an organic fruit and veg plot. Jobs include restoring windows, painting walls, moving rubble, restoring staircases, scraping paint, painting. In the garden we would need help with weeding, planting, grass cutting. Six years an organic farm with 6 cows and followers and 22 early lambing ewes. Beef, lamb and bacon are regularly on the menu. Food is mainly from farm except bread and milk.
I live on my own on the farm and need a strong helper. Upcoming tasks are developing a 2 acre vegetable enterprise. Regular tasks include feeding animals (winter), fixing fences, and vegetable garden tasks including weeding, hoeing, sowing... and a bit of house painting sometimes...
From April to Sept I really need help around garden... no domestic type work. Usually I'll be with helper at most tasks. Maximum six hours/day, five days/week. I also work part time at a local organic garden. Single room available in the house for helper.Im a trained hiking guide and have maps of all the local area walks and hope to help the helper enjoy them ,by leaving you to start of walk and collecting at the end, I walk and organise walks once a month with a group ,also have an interest I photography.

**** hey guys - looking for help pretty quickly, from now into the future and beyond****

We are a homely 30-bed hostel in the town of Drogheda, which is located firmly within the historic Boyne River valley of Co Louth. Myself and Rory own and run the hostel. We have taken it from being known as the worst hostel in Ireland (under a previous name) to now being the 2nd best hostel/B&B accommodation in Drogheda on Trip Advisor.

We are a very down-to-earth, fun couple that love meeting new people and are always trying to create a unique & friendly experience for our guests and staff. Our aim is to change the corporate approach to hospitality in Ireland. We want our guests to experience the warm and friendly environment we grew up in. The 'True Ireland' with the back door always open, the tea always ready and the friendly faces always welcoming.

We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished in such a short time and are planning some very exciting projects for summer 2018!... more inside

Hello Helpxers,
Help with computers in Dingle

I am living in one of the most places in Ireland. That place is Dingle in County Kerry on the wild Atlantic way.
The house is in the heart of Dingle town. Literally a stones throw from good Irish music pubs, restaurants and of course minutes from the sea. I need some help with a website for example uploading content and photos. If you have good social media skills that would be a bonus as my new business needs some digital marketing too. You will have plenty of time to yourself and I hope you can work on your own initiative. You will have your own private room. I provide all meals and an extra few beers. I need someone for 3 or 4 days.
Thnks for your interest
Paula

Helper wanted for a few weeks in October/November.

We live in an 18th Century listed country house outside Maynooth, Co. Kildare, which we have been renovating over the last four years. We live at the end of a long avenue, but only a ten minute cycle to Maynooth which is a lively university town. There is a regular train service to Dublin and we are near many interesting historical sites. The house is also open to visitors on certain days during the year until the end of November. We are a friendly family of 5, with 4 dogs, and 2 cats that need a lot of attention! We have a number of projects and tasks in the garden that need to be done over the next few months: clearing ivy from walls, planting and weeding flower beds, and putting in support systems for climbing plants.
