We have 2 mango orchards consisting of 1150 mango trees. Our home is set inside 1 of the orchards , we are close to town and the room has orchard and mountain views.

We are 15 min from the beach named Puerto Arista and close to the famous Boca de Cielo and one of the worlds largest , un developed estuaries with all kinds of wild life and mangroves .

We are situated in southern chiapas. There are lots of bugs depending the time of year and the sun can be intense at times , but we love it and everyone who has volunteered with us , loves it too. almost too beautiful and peaceful for words.

Work is year round. There is all kinds of ranch work and maintenance and the like . We have the occasional green building projects as well .

There is nightlife in town and a surprisingly large and open LGBT etc community . Its a fairly rural , very typical all mexican agricultural town. Mainly mangos , cattle and fishing . But , as I have said , it IS very beautiful and un spoiled , la... more inside

We are a family of three (7 including the dogs) beginning a small community centered around earth building, healing, and sustainable practices. We recently purchased 3.7 acres of raw land two hours south of Puerto Vallarta Mexico in a very magical rural area. We're 15 minutes from Mayto as well as miles of untouched beaches. Our property has a communal open air kitchen with a palapa roof. This is currently the only area where electricity and Wi-Fi is available. We can provide basic groceries and at least one prepared meal a day. We have tent camping with linens for sleeping accommodations. The land is getting more and more developed every passing day. Our next big project is to build a small Earthbag home. We have begun gardening vegetables, herbs, palms, bananas, passion fruit, and moringa trees. We are looking into animal stewardship on the property, with ducks, goats, cows, and chickens. (Currently we just have ducks but will be getting goats in the future) Between earth buildin... more inside

Welcome to Cuatros Vientos!! This farm is being operated under a new business partnership. The fields, etc, have not been worked in about 2 years. Everything has been plowed and disced. We are going to develop the property into a model of permaculture using Biodynamic French Intensive Beds based on the model Alan Chadwick pioneered at USC. You can read about this model here: http://www.alan-chadwick.org/html%20pages/techniques/garden_plants/veg_photos.html. Beds will be constructed to hold precious water in this arid land. Bed construction is in the very early stages at this point. The farm land IS organic, but has not been certified yet. The farm has not had live in workers for a while, so carpentry, painting, construction, plumbing, and cleaning skills would be valued. The Bunk spaces for volunteers need to be remade and made functional. There is so much to do!! We expect to get our first actual crops in the ground in November, however we strongly encourage our first bed bui... more inside

Hi!
We welcome volunteers from all corners to help us with our project.

Our beautifully camp is situated in the Mayan jungle of Yucatan, 20 min from the famous ruins of Chichen Itza. We have running water from our cenote/well, solar energy system and jungle wifi to stay connected. Living in harmony with nature but not against technology.

We love healthy cooking, fermenting, baking and experimenting new recipes with our visiting friends.

There are many trails through the jungle, great for hiking, biking and birding. Enjoy our watch tower for amazing sun and moon views over the vast jungle, an organic garden, beekeeping and more!

We recently became parents and trying to keep things very relaxed. Our camp is now only receiving a very little amount of people, we advise you to reserve with as much time as possible in advance. Precooked volunteering plans are very attractive to us.

The idea is to keep it not as volunteer camp but more like fri... more inside

Description

Hello friends; my name is Gerardo, but you can call me Jerry.

I live In Cordoba, Veracruz; near Xalapa, the capital city.

I want to build a little green roof garden at the top of a hotel. I dont really have much experience building green roofs, but that's where you can help me.
If you have experience with green roofs and/or hydrophonics you'd be of great help.
The area in which I want to install the green roof is not very big, as you'll see in the pictures. I'm trying to build it as organic as possible and use the hydroponics cultivation method.

You'd be staying in one of the hotel rooms or in my house; depending on availability. So, food and lodging is provided friends!

In your spare time you can take a stroll through the streets of Cordoba, enjoy of Colonial arquitecture and very old churches.
The food here is also great and affordable, and lots to choose from. You can go to the local market and buy very cheap delicious food or hit the downtown and ... more inside

ABOUT US:
Hello! we are Caro and Marco (from Mexico & Switzerland), and together we've been traveling and working in hostels for 1.5 years in Central and South America. We recently came back to Mexico to start our first hostel together! We're so happy to be able to do what we love after experiencing the hostel life for 3 years now, where we had the chance to meet the craziest, creative and awesome people from all over the world.

We choose Puerto Escondido for this adventure, as this is a town that has a little bit of everything: Quiet life, beautiful beaches, lagoons, bioluminescent plankton, dolphins, whales, turtles, surf, nightlife, culture, and the most amazing sunsets.

We're located in a town near to the center, 18 min walking to the swimming beaches, which are also perfect for beginners surfers. Our location is also close to the market, supermarkets, and the airport.

Our hostel is meant to be focused on digital nomads and extreme backpackers. We're working hard ren... more inside
