I have put in a large mezanine floor, some walls and windows so far. I do all work myself besides electrical and plumbing. I am looking for able workers who are willing to learn and have fun. Must be able to lift stuff;)
I have all tools required.
Next projects are timberframing, installing a ceiling as well as drywalling, gardening and building a fence.
I work with timber, steel, glass, plasterboard,etc..
My warehouse is 5 min walk from the river, 10 min drive to the CBD and 5min drive to Mona.
Shops and restaurants and a cinema are all in walking distance.
When the waves are up I go surfing.
Also ride a mountainbike often and have great trails close by. Like to throw Frisbees a lot and have a little Boat for Surf missions and to take on the river...
Good music provided and welcome as much as a happy attitude and a love for life.
Dogs welcome!

We live in South Hobart, just 5 minutes walk to the forest on glorious Mount Wellington. Our house is very close to bus routes. From here you can walk to Hobart city in approximately 40 minutes or drive for approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Accommodation is staying in a bedroom in the family home.

I work a job that keeps me away from the house during the weekdays. We have a large organic garden at home and many other jobs around the house that we don't have time to get done such as window washing, house sanding/painting, general maintenance, weeding, lawn mowing etc.

I am happy for helpers to work 4 hours each day in return for accommodation and food and general help with meals such as washing up after eating. Alternately helpers can work extra hours during the week in return for a day/s off on the weekend.

Carpenters and handy strong people wanted. We have recently acquired our 95 acre property in the beautiful Huon Valley and will build a home, but first there are a million things to do. About 80 acres of Australian bush with lots of furry critturs, and exciting birdlife, and close to the Hartz Mountain National Park. We would love to host you here in the Huon Valley in exchange for labour and have many jobs that need to be done that would suit a range of skills.

A plumber and a carpenter would be the handiest people initially.Having said that, there are jobs for all people who are strong or handy. We have a shed and big dam, and some fencing. That's about it. A denuded gully that wants re-vegetating and more jobs for carpenters than you can poke a stick at. We are only just getting on top of the weed control, and starting work on re-vegetation in some degraded areas. Fencing needs doing too, and setting up the vegie garden.
We can share our rented house in Hobart and h... more inside

Do you have an interest in becoming self sufficient? In managing pasture, working with livestock, cultivating food gardens? Home butchering of livestock? Hunting rabbits and keeping bees? How about baking, cheesemaking, or cooking good hearty meals for groups of 6-10?

We've a 40acre farm in the picturesque North East region of Tasmania, and these are all things we are hoping to achieve here. Situated along the Ringarooma River (where there are trout in abundance!), our property currently has our horses, chickens, goats and cattle, pigs, ducks, an apiary - and is likely to acquire anything else along these lines (such as geese, if anyone has Touloluse Geese we'd love to hear from them!)

We are a young, Australian family (two children under 5years) with celtic cultural roots. We like good food and good company! We are social people, and have other local farming friends who also take on HelpX guests.

Branxholm is a small townlet between Scottsdale (main commercial hub of NE ... more inside
