A lovely eco campsite in Dorset, open during the summer.
The campsite is situated just outside the pretty town of Wimborne. There is a wonderful river for swimming and the sea is twenty minutes.
Accommodation is in a shared house with a couple of other volunteers.
I need 1 person to help around the campsite greeting guests and generally helping out. Ideally you will be able to drive and like animals. An interest in food would also be useful.
I need someone as soon as possible.

We are a small family who live in a semi rural village close to the historical city of Chester. We have been renovating our home over the last couple of years and itís now time to work on the out side space. There are a number of jobs that need doing that a few extra hands and a bit of structure build experience would be extremely helpful.
Itís kind of tricky because although Joe and I have worked on most of the house our selves, Joe is working on a new business to earn money and as a result is not able to help me very often with heavy projcets I canít do alone.
We appreciate we are not a farm and we donít have much land, but we believe that if people came to stay with us, they would be very comfortable, be treated well, get the chance to do a bit of sightseeing and get to meet a family who love meeting new people. I really enjoy cooking and feeding people good food. The projects we are looking to do are: tweaking the wildlife attracting water feature, building and locating more ... more inside

This meditation centre is set in 38 acres of beautiful Derbyshire park land. Many visitors come here to enjoy the grounds, meditation room, cafť and shop. The Centre promotes the development of inner peace, compassion and wisdom.

If you are interested, while you are with us, you will be able to attend our meditation classes and courses for free where these do not conflict with the working day (we have several evening classes and lunchtime meditations).

Whilst you are here you can enjoy volunteering in the Vegetarian Cafť, grounds, kitchen, doing some decorating, building and other activities.
We have people living and volunteering from all over the world here. It is a warm and vibrant place with plenty of opportunity to make friends and learn new skills.

In return for 5-6 hours working per day, we offer accommodation (male and female dormitory) and food.

As a Buddhist community, we ask that you abide by our philosophy whilst in the Centre which means abstaining from... more inside

Hello, we don't need help at the moment but our profile is as below:

We are a family of four who live in a 1930s house on a residential street in North East London. My husband is an IT consultant and I am a graphic designer and freelance corporate video producer. We both enjoy meeting new people and either participate in local social events or organise them. If you like Lego or Scrabble, you should be at home here.

Although we are not vegetarian, the meals I prepare are mostly vegetarian or fish based. And when we eat meat or chicken I do my best to ensure that animal welfare is taken into consideration, so it is almost always organic.

We have a 70 foot garden overlooking allotments. The house is clean and and mostly well maintained. We have recently had a loft conversion and need help with finishing touches. That would be painting. Some basic plumbing (if possible). Gardening. Help with dismantling and removing an old wooden shed (6 foot by 8 foot). Help with reconditionin... more inside

We welcome visitors to help us with general tasks around the house and garden.
Weíre also experimenting with growing vegetables for the first time so anyone with gardening experience would be really welcome. Also enjoying dog walks and football would be good too.

We have a 5* bed and breakfast with 3 guest rooms and a self catering cottage. The house is a Grade II listed Georgian house and we have a walled garden, some woodland and a field. We are situated in beautiful East Sussex countryside - an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our village is small but people are very friendly and there is a pub and tea rooms. There is a bus stop outside our house.

We would love to have a helper or a couple over the summer months. We are looking for someone who would be able to set up for breakfast, cook and clean up after breakfast and help with cleaning the rooms and other housekeeping matters. We do already have a couple of people who help with rooms etc so it would be working as a team with them. There is always plenty to do around the house and in the garden too. The other person would help Simon outside mainly with painting the outside of the house, gardening, general maintenance etc. There would be about 4 hours of work a day to do for ea... more inside

Hello. Interested in the South East of England? Looking for someone late May/june to help us outdoors, cleaning a large pond, and other garden tasks such as weeding, mowing, tidying, burning; clearing shed/garage; also possibly some re-painting; and depending on the person, some help cleaning inside too. We are an English and French speaking friendly family of 4 in a large modern house and garden in countryside setting. We can offer a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and internet. 20 minutes walk to village pubs and shops, hourly bus, or easy cycle; one hour train to London or Brighton. Beautiful countryside and walks around. We prefer organic and local food, home cooked. Biodynamic farms nearby and many alternative lifestyle people in the village.
Family interests are in music, spirituality, technology, ecology, world affairs, sports, and community. We like to make friendships with people from all over the world.

Wow, itís been years since we had any helpersÖ.and boy doesnít it show in the garden.

Anyone fancy coming to stay in the woods? I have a list as long as my arm of things ĎTo Doí and just canít manage them on my own. My boys are a lot older now and really donít like gardening at all, so Iím wondering if some of you lovely helper out there might like to stay with us over the Summer.

A little bit about us, we live in a 100-acre organic woodland, on the edge of Salisbury Plain, 15 mins from Stonehenge and the rather more exciting Avebury (part of the same World Heritage Site as Stonehenge but somewhat older) is 25 mins away. Bath is pretty cool and we go to the station in Westbury fairly regularly which is the trainline to Bath if you ever wanted to explore it. There are easy rail links to Salisbury or Westbury or you can get to us by coach via London to Devizes, our local town.

A lot of the helpers we have had in the past appreciate the fact that Lacock (where Harry Potte... more inside

UPDATE *** we are now looking for help in March/April to plant our young Tea bushes in our newly formed Tea plantation and also help constructing our timber barn ***

We are located on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor wilderness we run a relaxed smallholding and campsite.
We are looking for volunteers to help us manage our woodland and campsite, support our beekeeping activities, plant out and tend to our crops and help with our general maintenance program.
If you can offer 2-3 days work a week we can accommodate you in one of our tents or beautiful caravans and provide meals on work days. The rest of the time is your own, we have great towns nearby, good bus links, surfing, canoeing, wild swimming and great walking on the moor.
Our family look forward to you joining us for a fantastic HelpX experience!!!
