We have a luxury camping getaway set on our 25 acre protected bush property, it is a home of significant local flora and fauna. With 360 degree views from Kinglake to Kilmore. Located at the door step are many local wineries and the gateway to the Yarra Valley region. We are also under an hour from Melbourne city.

On the property we are currently building our strawbale house. We are interested in hosting singles or couples who would like the opportunity to have a glamping experience unlike many others in exchange for a few hours labor on our house build. Jobs will likely include swinging a hammer or handing me tools.

The glamping site is the only accommodation on our property and you would have the private use of it. Giving you a wonderful secluded Australian bush escape. There are cooking and cleaning facilities, a flushing toilet and hot water.

So a little about us, Iím a primary school art teacher who is taking time away from the classroom to build our family home. Elle... more inside

This is a beautiful property - and requires some ongoing general property maintenance.
Jobs including gardening - weeding, mowing, trimming, mulching and some painting. The choock shed needs a bit of attention, nothing to major, just general upkeep really.
I`d be happy to have you here, no smoking, drugs or alcohol.
The property backs onto the beautiful Tarago River and has a variety of native bird life around.
For those wondering - there is plenty of space to park your RV and hook up to water and power!
Longwarry North is in West Gippsland, its about 1hr 15 minutes from Melbourne CBD, about 1 hour from Philip Island and Wilsons Prom, at the foothills of the Strezlecki ranges and Mt Baw Baw. Some very beautiful country to explore around Gippsland. Your own vehicle is a must.

My farm, located near Kaniva, is a commercial agricultural enterprise in the Wimmera region of western Victoria (midway between Melbourne and Adelaide). It has been owned by my family for more than 130 years. In 2006 I purchased the major portion of the productive land from the family Estate, and now annually crops nearly 425ha to spring wheat, barley, oats, field beans and canola. I am fully responsible for the management and on-going development of the farm, with a "share-farmer" undertaking many of the farm labour components.

I do not have enough work to keep you busy long-term, but I certainly have enough for 5-10 days. The deal I am offering is that you help me with general farm chores (e.g. burning up heaps of branches, some fencing repairs, cleaning up branches under trees, caring for my lawns and garden, cutting up firewood, planting farm trees, etc) and I provide free meals and accommodation and a modest weekly payment. Depending on the day/weather we would work for ... more inside

Home is a large old weatherboard house in beautiful Sherbrooke, in the Mount Dandenong Ranges. This dear old place may one-day soon again become guest-house, like it was 100 years ago. Mdeantime both house and garden need plenty of tender loving care.

The hills are a popular destination, with native forests for walking, public gardens, villages, cafes and galleries. See: http://www.villagesofmtdandenong.com.au/

Sherbrooke itself is made up of a state forest and a mountain village. It is recognised internationally as the home of the Lyrebird, and many native birds visit us daily.

Sherbrooke is one hour drive east of Melbourne city, or 1 hour on the train from Melbourne to nearby Belgrave.

As a busy professional household this year we have been grateful for helpers' assistance with yard-work, household chores, firewood management and painting. We have a large organic home vegetable garden. Skills needed now include gardening, stonework, fencing, painting, carpentry and bu... more inside

We are a professional couple looking for one or two helpers for the forthcoming school holidays - April 5 to April 21 (or possibly an extra week). Ours is a historical beach-side property on the rugged Phillip Island. Tiziana is a language teacher and Charles is an artist and educator in Landscape Architecture.
We are hoping to find someone with building / carpentry experience who will be able to work independently -someone who can install a window in the wooden cottage as well as do some maintenance jobs such as sanding, painting, revarnishing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, etc. Please do no apply if you do not have this skill set.
There are 3 dwellings on the property, the renovated chicory kiln (which has received a lot of press), the guesthouse (you can see the pic of the room for our helper(s)), and a settlerís cottage which Tiziana uses as her textiles studio. Itís only 1.25 acres but there is a lot to do.
Accommodation will be in the guest house. There are 2 comforta... more inside

Hi!

Looking for some help building my bonfire this year to clean up before the fire season. Guests will be required to do about 2-3 hours per day collecting loose wood from around the property and building a big pile out the back. Car and trailer will be provided.
I'm happy to supply meals but feel free to use this place as a base to explore Castlemaine, Daylesford, Macedon Ranges and Melbourne. Your better off to have your own vehicle for travel to and from surrounding towns. Room with queen bed, ensuite and free wifi.

One large house with two very separate areas in Frankston, Victoria. The house is on a 1 acre block of bush garden. Three of us live here-me, Kate, an artist, a young friend, Madeline, a bar manager, and in a separate area, my 37 year old son, a tradesman. (his children live with him part time.)
We have a very relaxed, casual, bohemian style household.
We like music, films, art, great food, beaches and caring for the environment. We enjoy having other people visiting.
We sometimes foster rescue dogs to get them ready for their adoptive homes and really love doing this.
Frankston is a beachside suburb. It is located exactly between Melbourne and the Mornington peninsula. It's known as the gateway to the peninsula. From here a train to the centre of Melbourne is 50 minutes travel. From here you can easily travel over the Mornington Peninsula and many tourist attractions on buses. We also have a beach shack on beautiful Phillip Island which is a world famous tourist destination. It... more inside
