Hi helper(s),
We are a French/Australian family with stunning 25 acres on the Mornington Peninsula. Merricks North is next to Red Hill. We have a 5 acre vineyard, only planted this summer. As part of establishing our vines we require assistance working with the vines, some painting work and general help with finishing our building project. DATES: Thursday 18 April to Sunday 28 April. Some or all days. The accommodation is brand new - you'd have your own bedroom and bathroom in the main house. We are near the beach, 12.5m swimming pool and kangaroos. You are welcome to eat meals with us as part of the family. Singles or a couple welcome to contact us for this exchange.
Transport to and from Melbourne provided.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!

We are a family owned vineyard, looking for a couple or friends wishing to stay in the beautiful Macedon Ranges only 1 hour North west of Melbourne, overlooking Hanging rock. We have kangaroos, wombat, echidna and koala who live on and around our property. We visit our home 1-2 times per week, and offer some small landscaping and gardening jobs on the property, so carpentry skills and handyman/woman skills are advantageous . We offer a car with the property as we are located 5km from Woodend. We have a tennis court and productive vegetable garden to enrich your stay with us.

We are wildlife carers and musicians in our 60's building our natural stone home on our beautiful property. We grow our own blueberries and make liqueur.

We are seeking help to BUILD our home, seeking easygoing, skilled carpenters, builders or tradesperson to help. We require helpers with building or plastering skills to help fit out the interior of our home. It is a unique, stone home that we have built by hand over the past 10 years.

We will provide clean accommodation that is separate to our main home, that has it's own shower and toilet and will provide vegetarian lunch and dinner.

We have beautiful bush to roam in, a huge deep lake to swim in, canoes, and wildlife to enjoy as we care for injured animals. We are in a very peaceful area away from noise, in a town called Merton, which is on route to Mansfield and Mt Buller snowfields.

There is a bus service from Melbourne to Merton , we can pick you up at the Merton store.

We live with a very active Gran (master gardener and farmer and cook) in Violet Town. We share farm with farmer Carey who lives in his Carey-van at the farm in Warrenbayne. Carey is a very experienced permaculture practitioner and all round amazing guy.

We live in a beautiful house with productive garden (1/2 acre block) backing onto the lovely Honeysuckle creek/reserve within a short walk to Violet Town village. There is a separate bungalow with garden outlook and own verandah for help-x ers (bathroom and kitchen facilities in main house).

PLUS we have a farm 15 mins drive away in Warrenbayne - 168 ha which we are just starting up (on Serenity's family farm). We have a small bio-dynamic farm in Hoddles Creek, about 1.5hrs away from Melbourne by bus and train. We aim at sustainability and mostly only eat food from our own farm. We love to cook and eat well and enjoy a full diet of meat, veg and fruit all off the farm. At present we need help with wood collection, painting, fruit picking and processing. We have 2 dogs and a cat who sleep in the house and a few very friendly sheep who donít....sleep in the house, that is. We accommodate our workers in 2 single rooms in our home. You have your own bathroom and wifi is available throughout the house
It is a beautiful mountainous area with lots to see and many wineries close at hand. Wine is also a big interest for us and we would be happy to share knowledge of wine if it interests you. We look forward to hearing from you.

**********

ABOUT US
After living most of our lives in big cities (Paris, Lyon, Dehli, Melbourne) we recently moved with our daughter to a beautiful bush property just outside of Woodend township - 1 hour from Melbourne.
We are in our mid/late 30's, Maxime is 2 and 1/2.

We are fun and trustworthy. We try to do things the right way, are interested in sustainability. We are active and take time to enjoy a healthy lifestyle: cooking local and organic food, exercising (Yoga and Pilates for Caro, Futsal for Guillaume)...
We love travelling and meeting new people, hence why we are on HelpX!

We both work part time in Melbourne. Maxime goes 5 days a week to childcare in Woodend

THE PLACE
We live on a gorgeous 20 acres/8 hectares bush property that we share with the native wildlife: kangaroos, wallabys, echidnas, wombats, birds of all sorts.
This offers a lot of privacy -we can't see the neighbours- whilst we are less than 10 minutes... more inside

We have a small 20 acre hobby farm approx 40km from Melbourne on the edge of the Yarra Valley. We have a large veggie patch and fruit trees and pasture which we try to run organically/sustainably.
We need help with firewood collection, weeding, grass cutting and general building maintenance.

Hi, I'm Wendy :) I'm Seeking assistance either with horses or general garden and other maintenance on my beautiful 180 acre farm. It's in Victoria's Pyrenees region situated in a lovely valley with views, bushland, creeks, wildlife and lots of horses and other animals.

Looking ideally for experienced horse people - particularly those with Natural Hosemanship knowledge - to help with care of and possibly starting or further education of Arabian, Anglo Arabian and TB horses. If you are around long enough to help get them ready for endurance comps or sale that would be fantastic. If you are able to recognise and help treat any health problems (eg give medications, injections, dressings etc) even better!

My property neighbours the Australian Brumby Association so if you have an interest in Australia's wild horses and natural training techniques that may present an additional opportunity.

If you don't have this level of equine skill, there are also plenty of projects avail... more inside
