We are a couple who need some help. We have a mad organic vegetable patch that needs help and we are working towards a wicking system, as well as installing water tanks and other such stuff. We have assortment of chickens and sheep. There is horse work and milking goats, which we make cheese and soap. A bit of fencing and weeding with a vehicle and chain. More gardens to create and other projects along the way. We also have an indigenous food/medicine garden that needs work. There is much to learn and do with lots of fun, good humour with four dogs and a couple of cats :)

We live on a private & tranquil small acreage property 2 mins from town in the Noosa hinterland & approximately 25 mins to the beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. We are in an area with (mostly!) fantastic weather, lots of great bush walking trails & interesting areas to visit including local markets (Eumundi market are 10 mins away) Noosa Farmers market (25mins away) Kondalilla Falls walking track & picnic area, just to name a few. We enjoy kyaking & camping in our van or tent in one of our many bush land camps & waterways.
We're needing some help with gardening, mowing & brush cutting as well as getting the veggie garden up & running again. Possibly also some painting & tidying up the garage/workshop.
I enjoy cooking vego or meat meals, good music & relaxing with a drink & the company of good friends by the fire pit at the end of the day. Looking for two friends or a couple to help on our farm. To start this week.
Paid work available on weekends for good helpers.

We are Todd and Wiebke, Marlo and Millie and we live on an avocado and lime farm outside of Toowoomba (1.5 hrs from Brisbane). We have horses. And we also have a border collie named Pebbles.
Wiebke works in accountancy and Todd is an aircraft engineer and works on helicoopters. Todd is Australian and Wiebke grew up in Germany.
We have both travelled a lot through Europe, South East Asia, Canada and Australia and we know how great it is to see a bit of the local life instead of one hostel after the other.

Volunteer work could include:
: feeding the animals
: farm work
: gardening
: house cleaning etc
: Horse training if experienced
: stick picking
We prefer helpers that are good with children.
You don't need to know anything about farming but as long as you give everything a try and your best effort then we are happy to have you.

We are Michael and Mari and our home is on the outskirts of Pomona on the Sunshine Coast 90 minutes north of Brisbane.

Our household also includes Mari's 93 year old Japanese mother and a small dog called Bonnie and six "chooks" (chickens).

We have a small property with a wonderful view of Mount Cooroora. Our 3 acre garden has a vegie patch, some fruit trees and a small pocket of rainforest along the creek. The garden is well established and in different seasons we need help with weeding, mulching, pruning and watering.

Our Helpxers give us 4 hours a day five days a week in exchange for accommodation and food. The work will be gardening, cleaning and general maintenance. It may also include occasional "granny-sitting" so we need a Helpxer who is patient and kind and would be willing to keep our granny company occasionally when we need to go out. A Japanese speaker would be very welcome. And this may suit someone who is learning Japanese.

Pomona is only 30 minutes away ... more inside

This lovely brick home with cathedral ceilings and chandeliers, on 30 acres, is a peaceful, serene environment that has a lot of space for fun and adventure, or relaxing and time out.

I have just recently taken over this Property that had once included an organic lemon orchard. Only a portion of this remains due to drought. There are a lot of repairs and re-establishing of the property in process, and will be ongoing for a long time as I slowly work through all the various jobs.

Getting here: If you do not have transportation, I can meet you at the train or bus and pick you up and drop you off. We can discuss any other needs while you are here.

There is a Queen Sized Bed, with King Sized Doona and comfortable bedding, Mattress Topper, Wardrobes, Insect screens, Security screens, and it's in your own room. There is a single fold away mattress on frame if needed.

The bathroom facilities are shared as there is only one bathroom in the home. Shared kitchen, has cooktop, s... more inside
