***** HELP NEEDED NOW : ) *****

I will be needing a helper from the 25th June onwards. I think this would be perfect for a couple or single person looking to stay in Glasgow over the summer. Main duties will be cleaning my holiday let apartments.
Feel free to contact me and let me know your skills or if you have any questions.

I am well travelled and have HelpX'd several times before. I am keen to share travel tales and meet fellow Helpers. Would be more than happy to give advice on things to do in Glasgow and Scotland.

Would be looking for Helpers to work a few hours a day for accomodation in one of my holiday let apartments which is located in a great area of Glasgow, close to the city centre.

Look forward to hearing from you : )

Hi! I'm Natta! I work as a model & lap dancer but am lucky enough to live off the grid with my husband & mad collie pup where we also run a small woodland based business.

We work the forest to source timber from which we produce firewood, charcoal, and speciality pieces all of which we sell locally. We're a bit alternative, and although we run a woodland based business which we love and have worked tremendously hard for, we're also both free spirited creative types and enjoy much that life can offer.

I live with bipolar 1, schizophrenia & hyper-sexuality which in the past has had huge detrimental effects on my life. We've recently completed our self built off grid timber and straw bale house, and are now finding this has also provided new working opportunities as well as providing a lifestyle which has greatly improved my mental health. Living here, med free, growing food, working the woods, sourcing our own power & water, ditching my smartphone, all has helped me find a new... more inside

Currently have space for volunteers as follows:
* 1-4 volunteers, most of the work will be helping clean the house and look after the cats and chickens and gardens

We are at the early stages of restoring an old, large and characterful building, parts of which date to the 14th Century, with a walled garden, orchard and vegetable patch. We`ll be creating a small yoga studio, accommodation rooms and community spaces. In the medium to long term we hope the site will host retreats and small scale events.

We need help with all kinds of work, mainly:
* helping with chores, keeping the house clean and tidy
* looking after the greenhouse and veg patch
* taking care of the chickens and cats
* documenting the project and taking photos

If you already have skills you might be able to help out with:

Free self catering accommodation on Isle of Skye in return for help in garden and croft.

18 June -14 July

Hello folks.

For the last two years I have been building a load bearing strawbale bothy, but between working fulltime and building the bothy my dog, garden and croft have been badly neglected. The strawbale bothy is nearly finished, but I don't want to leave my garden and croft to deteriorate any further.

I'm looking for folks who are comfortable working outdoors, getting muddy, maybe scratched by brambles and hopefully know a wee bit about horticulture to help rescue the garden and croft.

So here's the deal:

I will be moving out of my two bedroom traditional stone built croft house and into the bothy so that I can finish it in the evenings after work and at weekends.

This leaves my house available for helpexers. There are two double bedrooms so it would ideally suit couples or friends happy to share a bed! This will be a different experience from the las... more inside

Hi i'm Brendan,
I have an off grid nine acre smallholding on the isle of skye in a former quarry ( 10,000 tons of landscaping done ten years ago ,and eight thousand trees planted there after ) on which i have lived for over ten years , i have a large garden /a beautiful river ,and run a small sawmill business to supply the regional market .
I work as a teacher of woodwork in the local collage.
As everything here is off grid, accommodation can vary from a converted container to a tree house or a double decker bus or the bothy in the big shed .
I'm needing help in and about the garden path building and manual labour in the sawmill as i have an issue with heavy lifting due to an old injury.
I am also a musician ,so their is a fair bit of music about the place and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed.
I would love to meet motivated people who can share their skills .
hope to see you
cheers

Need some help with a good amount of painting and decorating and maybe some gardening if you can handle a hedge cutter.

Can cater for veg not vegan if you want to do one or all your meals we can change the hours.
Minimum 4 hours max 5. Work is for 3 meals.
The bus to Brighton is on the doorstep if you want to go out for the day.

We are based in a beautiful location, amongst croftland, on the east coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides about 10 miles from Stornoway.

We are a small family with just under an acre of land which we hope to develop for greater organic food production and productive woodland. We are hoping to install a poly tunnel and have a small summerhouse with water and electricity that we are keen to renovate too. There’s plenty to do in the house and are are flexible depending on skills and preferences of potential volunteer (s).

We would like a female or couple (would possibly also consider young family) for a mix of duties depending on preferences and skills to include gardening (vegetables, ground clearance, tree felling), household and childcare. Woodwork or other trade skills would also be very handy! Medium to long term stays preferred.

You will have lots of opportunity to enjoy everything the Hebrides can offer including the amazing landscape, wildlife (eagles, whales &... more inside
