I live in Ennis, a lovely town that is the gateway to the scenic, nature-filled mid-west of Ireland. Ennis is the capital town of the region and lies approximately midway, an easy journey, between the cities of Limerick and Galway. The town's population is about 25,000 people.

We are 30 minutes drive from the ocean and from so many beaches that are long and sandy. All nearby are the world-famous cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the secret, much-less-known west of Clare which has some of the best scenery in the world, with the wild Atlantic Way, a hiker's, nature-lover's and photographer's dream.

I work away a few days a week as I travel around the country with my job. Where I live is 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of town.

In May 2016 I got a lovely puppy. His name is Luca. At the moment he's 2 years old and quite mature. While I was on holidays I had plenty of time to train him and spend time with him. But, now I need help to feed, look after and exercise him when I'm aw... more inside

We are a grass based dairy farm in county Kilkenny, there are lots of animals here - Dogs, hens, cats, peacocks and cows of course!
We live in a house built in the 1700s surrounded by beautiful mature trees and a walled garden.

This is a house of six with four grown up children coming and going as they travel and study and sometimes work on the farm. We love where we live, enjoy farming, country lifestyle and working with animals. We also enjoy visitors and welcome their stories and lifestyles.

We offer Helpxers comfortable accommodation, excellent food and a genuine welcome.

We have a positive and welcoming attitude towards people and we appreciate that some people start with very little experience. Some of our best helpers have been first-timers. But we do expect applicants to provide some evidence that they are able to make a useful work contribution in return for our hospitality. This means you need to tell us about things you have done that show you are har... more inside

We are a small family tourist accommodation in the west of Ireland located close to the Cliffs of Moher.

I, Marie and my husband Tom are living in the house. Our Children Danny and Diane are in College but return sometimes during weekends.

A private room with bathroom will be allocated to helpers.

Helpers who would like to come would be able to discover the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, try surf in Lahinch, enjoy live traditional music in pubs, all about irish life !

In exchange of your stay, we will ask you to help us with daily tasks in the house and garden.

Starting off small holding organic farm in Lismore, Co. Waterford. I offer a single room with a vegetarian brealfast. In exchange I would like help digging and planting an organic vegetable garden, a couple of hours a day. There is a possibility that I would take on some rescued farm animals and I have a gorgeous rescued Saluki dog who tends to claim the couch for herself, otherwise there is free run of the house.

Hello. I've been away in Norway, with my new family, since my daughter was born in December 2011 . I put my cottage on airbnb, but feel it needs more work on and around the place !
If I am not there, a friend may be around to help, sometimes with transport . The bus now stops in Belturbet from Cavan or Enniskillen. There is a bus from there, but not so often, so you may need to get a taxi or bicycle ??
At the moment there is no one living on the acre of land . There is a cabin on the hill .
There is lovely woodlands around and 10 mins walk along the forestry track to a lake , where we swim, it's not to cold for swimming at the moment .. May till September
We have a Canadian canoe on the lake, also.
A little work is good , as long as it improves !
Enjoy your stay .

In the Spring / Summer / Autumn time . I would like to organise a work party. To cut down as many of the 110 Sitcus sprus trees as possible. Take the bark off and stack and cover with roofing. To then h... more inside

We are a family of 4 including two children. We live on a farm that 60% percent of the land is not agriculturally productive but supports a diversity of native species. Also we invite/expect volunteers to come to Cork to a farm shop/cafe where they can help to promote our ideas of sustainability and biodiversity by also interacting with customers and improving their English skills. They can also learn how to make good organic, artisan, Rainforest-Alliance approved coffee. We have been hosting volunteers for twenty three years now continuously when we started with an international group of volunteers who planted a peace forest as an anti-Gulf War statement, organised through a peace effort that have been campaigning on anti-war movements since 1921. Our house is a historical landmark with special focus on environmental awareness, sustainability and intercultural exchange promoting peace and unity amongst all races, creeds and nations. We have a strong commitment to share these values... more inside
