My house is located a 10 minute walk from Kenmare town centre which boasts excellent restaurants, pubs and an arts centre. The town is on the coast and nestled amongst hills so would suit anyone with an interest in hillwalking, kayaking, fishing etc. There is a golf club and a number of organised activities if you wish to meet like-minded individuals.

I am looking for someone to help me with housework. As a single parent, I would like to have more quality time with my two young kids (6 and 4). I have a lovely en-suite bedroom for visitors but would prefer female help only. An interest in minding children would be a bonus as I could then get some time to myself! I also have 2 cats and a dog. Minimum stay 1 month.

I have a lovely little house (first on the left) in Waterford - Ireland's oldest city. The south facing garden has been neglected for some time and needs attention. This is an ideal match for someone who wants a city experience and likes to garden. You can walk to shops, bars, cinema, the park and the Viking Triangle. You're just a bus ride from the beach at Tramore. I'm happy to help with the cultural experience.

Hi all.

We are a fun, very active family and live on a small beef farm and agri contracting business and so we would like help around the farm `re maintenance as when the weather picks up and conditions are favourable for maintenance it is also favourable for agri machines so a bit of a conflict!!

We are also in the process of getting a bandb up and running and would like hands on people who can help with carpentry projects inside and outside the house.

Also during the summer months, with the kids off school, I need extra day to day help as they have so many activities which often clash.

As we also host young students during the Summer who partake in a family immersion programme I can only host native English speakers from mid June to mid September.

What`s in it for you?
We are situated in the heart of Ireland`s Ancient East and just 1.5 miles from the royal canal greenway with 175km of cycle paths. A short bus/train ride to Dublin and on the m... more inside

We are a family of five, living in the countryside. We have a small org polytunnel, a few animals (dogs, cat, chickens, peacocks and sheep) and we try to live as environmentally friendly as we can.

If you like music, eoin plays traditional irish music at the local pub 1-2x every week.

We are looking for help mostly with child minding, looking after the animals, gardening and other jobs around the farm.

Helpers will be staying in a small caravan that can sleep up to 4 people (families welcome!), so they have their own space with cooker and small toilet.

Only non smokers pls.

We are about 2 min from the nearest village (by car) and 15 min from the nearest big town Ennis.

This is a smallholding which once had various animals but now just a couple of cats, sometimes sheep that are wandering around and maybe the odd horse in the field.
I recently re-developed this old cottage but there is still some work to do, mostly outdoors.
The property is all based on 1.8 hectares. I need help so I can complete the maintenance of walls, fences.
I also need to prepare for winter so I will need help with gathering and storing turf.

If you have painting, ground maintenance or just a willingness to work, it could be ideal.
You will enjoy the experience if you like to muck in and get stuck into outdoor jobs, and enjoy being part of reviving the property to its lovely best.

This is a very peaceful place to stay and the view is amazing. Due to its rural location, it is better suited to two people traveling together. Although it is rural, it is still close to the main road (N25, 200mtrs) and villages and towns are between 5-8klms... more inside

Hi there, thank for reading our post.

We live in the countryside, 14km to Dublin city centre, the closest bit of the country to the city. 10 minute walk to the bus. Such a beautiful part of the world.

We are three, my husband and I, both in our thirties and a 2 year old little boy. We have a large unestablished garden and a 10 acre field we have great plans for but struggling to manage the load on our own.

We live in a large friendly house with lots of space.

Wed love to host a single or a couple, whos keen on gardening, a small bit of help around the house, maybe watching the little one from time to time and maybe someone whos good on a sewing machine!

Looking forward to hearing from you!
