We are a family run business operating an Oyster Farm on sunny Moreton Island. We are happy to accept travellers and have had some wonderful experiences with wwoofers already. We offer accommodation and food in exchange for work.

Duties include, building water infrastructure, making oyster bags, culling and sorting Oysters, general farm hand on the land base and grading of oyster. A working day normally starts at 8am and finishes around 2pm generally and breaks for morning tea of course. Most times on a Sunday we have to harvest oysters ready for work on Monday, but this only takes about 1 hour

Moreton Island is remote even though close to Brisbane, we have to generate our own power via solar and also collect our own rain water. If you love nature, hiking, reading or taking photos, you will love it here.

Accommodation is a caravan on site and a studio apartment. First in best dressed for that one.
We supply food which is generally meat based and eaten with the family, e... more inside

Our little farm lies in a beautiful valley 30 minutes from Brisbane city offering a peaceful haven with private room and separate amenities away from the main home. We have a broad range of work to offer - including general farm shed clean up, weed control and light landscaping to attend to. This is quite physical outdoor work so would suit someone who enjoys being outdoors and working hard! We look forward to you getting in touch and meeting you. This is suitable only for guests who have their own transport.

I have a home and garden with lush swimming pool here in tropical Cairns. I regularly host travellers and rent out rooms year round.
It is hard to maintain the house and garden on my own (I work a lot!) Would love some help! General garden tidy up and inside and out house cleaning. Things like weeding, gutters, walls, windows, floors...
Wifi, amenities, coffee and tea included. I do not provide food as I work odd hours and eat quite particular foods (I've got allergies) though am happy to share meals when home or when it works best that way :) I provide basics like sugar, oil, soap, linen, etc.. and lots of info about the area. There are great cafes, the botanical gardens (free!) and Tanks Arts Center nearby and I am up for taking people for river swims or into town/out to events when time allows.
Also own a dance school so can also give people cheap classes in dance and fitness while here :)
I am looking for 1 or 2 capable, easy going, down to earth pe... more inside
