We have a five bedroom farmhouse on 7 acres of land in the heart of the garden of Ireland. It's beautiful and surrounded by stunning views of the countryside (the sunsets are to die for). The land here is rich with sacred sites and wild walks.
The garden itself is about an acre with a further 6 acres as paddocks/meadow. We need folk for weeding, prunning, planting, mowing, leaf collecting (for mulch in autumn), chainsawing, chopping wood and various other jobs on the land (such as making a nettle compost pit, building a larger compost area, herb collecting and drying etc).
Things to do in and around the house include painting, making herbal tinctures and balms, baking sourdough, kombucha brewing and other fruit and flower brews depending on the time of year..
Other larger projects include making an outdoor clay oven, creating an outdoor eating area (the roof timbers are rotten and need replacing and decking needs to be put down), planting an area for coppicing, planting some nat... more inside

Hello, We're looking for some helper(s) to come and stay for 1 or 2 weeks this Spring.
Our home is a large house where I live with my wife and daughter. We can easily accommodate 1 or 2 people but they would be sharing a room.
We're very happy to offer a bed and some home-made meals for help in the months of Feb to April this year for some general house and garden maintenance

The house is located 15 minutes drive from Dingle in a remote scenic area - 10 minute walk to the Atlantic ocean and there are beaches within cycling distance.(Bikes available) The house has satellite TV and WiFi. One of us drives into Dingle every day so we can offer a lift during your stay most days. Please get in touch if you have any questions & if you are planning to be in Ireland in the coming month.
The pictures are taken from the house and we have spectacular views of the Blasket Islands, exceptional walks and scenery on our doorstep

We look forward to hearing from you.

Akash is a forester and Amina a dance teacher and both have worked for the last ten years on Family Constellation, Human Design and tantra processes with leading experts in these fields. Now we manage this centre with its organic garden, woodland, meditation, dance and workshop room and offer courses here. We are looking for people who would like to help us with jobs in the garden, in the woodland and with construction. Accomodation is in wooden chalets on the land. They all have electricity and compost toilet. We have a 4 year old girl so childminders are also welcome! Westport is 20 minutes by car and there is a nice beach also 20 minutes away. We expect you to work about 6 hours per day with sat and sun free.

We have a large productive garden, we have been largely self sufficient in organic vegetables and fruit, and the garden is also full of flowers. Lately due to family events of one sort or another the garden hasnt been as well cared for as it should and so we are looking for help to get it back into shape. This means digging vegetable beds, clearing overgrown areas, repairing structures, and so on. As well as the normal jobs of weeding and mowing etc.

We are a mile and a half from the busy market town of Skibbereen, where there is plenty of entertainment for those who want it. And it also has a reasonably good bus service.
We are also not far from the spectacular West Cork coastline.

Helpers must be dog lovers as we have two lively playful dogs who are part of the family.

We normally take bookings for a two week stay at a time, but are open to longer stays at certain times.

Accommodation is two comfortable and cosy rooms in the cottage where we live. It would suit two... more inside

We live on Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands. I have a very small B&B (only 2 rooms) and a Self-catering unit.
In exchange for room and board, I am looking for someone to help with preparing and serving breakfasts and housekeeping and occasional pic-ups from ferry. As well as this, some child care is required, our kids are almost 7 and 11. I have other commitments outside the home and B&B. The kids are on Summer vacation for June, July and August, it is challenging to juggle everything!
I have had some very positive experience with cultural exchanges in the past, We've met some lovely people from Brazil, Poland and Sweden :)
We are a tri-lingual family of 4 living by the sea, we live near the main village.
There are bicycles available, a kayak, it's a fantastic place for walks, swimming etc The Afternoons and weekends are your own to relax, explore and unwind on our lovely Island, perhaps it would be possible to get a part time job on the island during your stay :) :... more inside

We need help with our bee farm. This includes general maintenance and preparation for the season as well as hands on experience with the bees. We offer free accommodation and food in return for 4 days work and 3 days off to give our guests time to explore the beautiful countryside and coastline. We also have plenty of opportunity to help in our organic garden and , if you are interested, in indulging in some artistic designs in the garden.

Feb 2018 Update: need a pair of helpers for dates in late March to second week April, again late April and early June. Strongly prefer a couple or two friends sharing. We cannot really accommodate helpers coming on their own.
The heart of this rural smallholding is a renovated, traditional stone cottage, built in 1758 and located in south County Down, roughly between Belfast and Dublin. Situated in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains and only twenty minutes from the Irish Sea, the farm sits on a 2 acre site which is given over to an exotic arboretum, orchard, native woodland and an organic vegetable garden, including a forty-foot polytunnel. Though the property is fairly rustic, all amenities are here: you will want for nothing, including high-speed wireless throughout. HelpX accommodation is in a nicely heated traditional stone cottage, complete with two beautiful, tuned upright pianos! HelpX tasks include all the usual organic gardening jobs, as well maintenance of the trees... more inside
