We need help in the house and with the animals as we have new born twins.
We have sheep, Connemara ponies, a dog and a cat. We are very much an outdoor family and a house of animal lovers. We are a family of 5 now. Our little boy is 4 and our two girls are new born twins.
We are looking for someone to become part of our family and will enjoy a stay with us. The hours of help needed is impossible to give as you can imagine its a bit random with new borns but we will always be here so its not a problem to agree time off and hours.
Our sheep lamb in March if anyone wishes to experience lambing time and it can be fairly busy!!

We are located in one Ireland's Premier tourist destinations, The Aran Islands. Inis Mor Island is also home to the world Heritage site of Dun Aonghasa.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of the Island, the language, music, celtic heritage and nature.
We think this will be an enjoyable opportunity for someone looking to see the West Coast of Ireland, travelling on the Wild Atlantic Way and helps you to get to learn about the Aran islanders life style, as it is a very interesting island in terms of irish culture, celtic roots, crafts, nature. There is also the nightlife... traditional pubs with traditional Irish music, wide range of juices, smoothies, beers and wiskies, restaurants and so on. You'll definitely learn something - apart from improving your English hopefully volunteers and hosts have fun and hang out together and tend to learn lots from each other - how to cook weird dishes from each others countries, how to play guitar, how to draw, pai... more inside

September 2017. Hi, looking for a couple or two friends, for a garden project. Now through September and October would be ideal.......Our house is a 160+ year old farmhouse which we have renovated and also on the property is a barn conversion which we rent out as a luxury holiday let and a small annex which we usually let on airbnb but would be the helpX accommodation while necessary. We live here with our two children aged 13 and 14, two big dogs and two goats. Mark is a yacht captain on rotation and we try to get projects done on his off time. Sharon is a private chef and property manager.
We are moving on to phase four of our refurbishment which is to cultivate a garden from our half acre field to include a hen run and poly tunnel to be installed, raised beds for vegetables, a fruit net and orchard and possibly a retro caravan with deck and composting toilet. We hope to start now. Work will be done alongside ourselves. As mentioned Sharon is a gourmet chef though! We have bicycl... more inside

Hi my name is Stella, I live in the beautiful Nire Valley in southern Ireland. We have a little herd of Kerry Bog ponies which graze the scrubland.

I am caretaker only; Vicky who spends most of her time in England looking after her mum is the owner.
I need help in the garden i really don t have the energy to maintain it anymore -it would be a shame to let it go. We are also looking for help with the ponies especially when the foals are born in march and April. There are dry stone walls which need rebuilding and I appreciate there is skill needed for this so if you are a drystonewall builder and you want to stay in this area for a time we would be thrilled!..
As far as the veg plot is concerned you can take over completely.
This is an organic farm ,the water comes off the hill which is wonderful, and the anaerobic digester provides superb compost which grows great beans ,raspberries potatoes and much more.
There is a caravan for volunteers who like more privacy but people... more inside

I have a vacancy starting September 25 until December 5. 2017. I am looking for one helper to join us and to help maintain the garden and some other general work including a little painting, window cleaning, chopping wood, hedge cutting and weeding. If you like cooking all the better! If weather is wet you would be expected to work indoors, helping with house cleaning etc.
My home is in the beautiful Glen of Aherlow at the foot of the highest inland range of mountains in Ireland, the Galtee Mountains with spectacular scenery. This area has been voted the best inland destination in which to holiday in Ireland. A great area for rambling and hillwalking. Apart from being a teacher/performer of traditional Irish music and dance, I regularly accommodate visiting groups in my Cultural Centre located next door to my home. You are welcome to join me when I go out socialising and when I go to town/city. You will have a comfortable and warm room of your own in my home. There is wifi intern... more inside

FULLY BOOKED UNTIL 2018

Ideally looking for a couple who can work well together and have an interest in learning about growing and running a market garden. Would need to be able to work unsupervised on occasions. Minimum commitment of at least 1 month.

A relatively new market garden going into its 4th growing season. Currently consists of 2 large polytunnels and now developing the gardens outside. Work would include the maintenance of beds and pathways, sowing, planting, harvesting and ongoing weeding and management tasks. Some help with preparing meals will also be required. As someone who has spent time Wwoofing in the past, I would like to make any volunteers visit a good learning experience. I teach organic production in a nearby adult education college.

I have a small double room in the house and a clean, warm caravan that would be suitable for a couple or 2 friends who don't mind sharing (it's a 4 berth).

The work in general is of a physical nature with some tasks ... more inside

We re looking for help for September to the end of October, 2017....

We're lucky enough to live in a beautiful landscape with a good community spirit. You will be helping with some unusual structures, either permanent or sculpture to take to events. Essentially part of our aim is to create an arts Centre, retreat and sculpture trail with a focus on the natural environment. My partner Jessica myself and our two children Archer and Tallulah, aged 6 and 9, are situated in a beautiful valley just up from Bantry Bay in the Cork and Kerry mountains, 5 minutes from the sea with stunning views. My partner Jessica, is an environmental scientist and educator as well as a vegetarian chef. When I'm not constructing our living space I spend my time creating sculpture and designing spaces. Projects are realized with the use of practical skills such as metalwork and carpentry.
During the summer we go on the road creating installations whilst running a cafe at events. We live in a rather unus... more inside

A traditional Irish stone cottage built around 1850, set on the side of a hill with wonderful views and no neighbours close by.

We have a new roofing project about to start using traditional materials and techniques.

Currently looking for someone or ideally two people (a couple is good) who have an interest or a little experience in basic carpentry, fencing and gardening. Some of the work will be quite physical but the hours won't be unreasonable. We have all the tools and experience to show you the techniques needed to tackle these tasks.

Accommodation for helpers is a mobile home (large caravan), clean, dry and warmed by a wood burning stove. Food and fuel for the fire are provided and there's no problem giving a lift into town or to the bus if you have no transport.

Location is 30km west of Cork city and towns like Killarney, Bantry, Clonakilty and Skibereen are all less than an hours drive.
