We are located in the renowned South West of West Australia, approx 2hrs from Perth. A picturesque property, surrounded by natural forest, native flora and fauna abound. We have five acres of beautiful bush and trees just south of Perth city.
We are looking for some help during November, to help us finish getting our property tidy for the summer. If you are looking for a bit of tranquility and to be very close to nature come and spend some time with us.

Our helpX needs to be willing and able to pitch in with a variety of home and property maintenance activities, in exchange for great food and accommodation.

If you are comfortable operating mechanical tools and small machinery, for example, chainsaws, hand-tools and a ride-on mower, we will love to have you.

There is a variety of work to do;some garden tidy-up & clearing/burning the bush litter. Also some fence repairs, paving, and other general maintenance.

We live in a spacious 5 bedroom house, with very close access to Kwinana freeway, handy to Rockingham and Mandurah, 10 minutes from nearest shopping centre and 15 minutes drive to the nearest surf beach, and beautiful fi... more inside

We are a household of two single mothers, with two small boys between us, who are converting this newly purchased large suburban grassy block into a permaculture food forest. We're into activism, community, zero waste, non-violent communication, gift economy, fermenting and traditional skills. We have a spare bedroom for a suitable person or couple who can help us move towards our dream of an interconnected household that is self-sufficient within our local networks. Nonsmoking is preferred, vegetarian or vegan is ok (we eat ethical meat). Close to town, easy walk to several bus stops and shops. If you can paint rainbows on walls, help design permaculture food forests, are patient with noisy children, know how to build a guinea pig/chook pen from scrap materials, or are ready to sheet-mulch kikuyu, please get in contact!

We are a young farming family located in a rural area. We are in a reasonably remote area, but are ideally located close to some of the world's best beaches and some very unique native bushland. We are also close enough to towns if required. We are also on route from Perth to Adelaide, so a great way to break up the journey for those doing the big trip!
Our beaches are beautiful, white and aqua!!! They are second to none!
We farm 400 head of Murray grey cattle, 2500 merino sheep and some crops, predominantly hay for our use and for local sale. We also breed quality quarter horses.
We have young children who love spending time outside.
We are looking for people that are comfy working in a busy family business. Work is very varied and we can adjust to suit experience.
We are now heading into our calf marking and fencing season. It is a super busy and exciting time. Well worth experiencing as it is typically full of fun, hard work but awesome once in a lifetime experiences.
